4. Special abilities and distinguishing features [abilities here are WIP. This message will be removed when I've finished.]

1: Magic senses: Linarian Adepts were genetically engineered to be eyeless, and to minimize the size of the parts of their brains dealing with physical senses in order to increase the size and processing power of their brains. As a direct result, their senses operate more on the magic plane than the physical, though, with practice, they can perceive a replica of the physical world.

2: Psionic Immunity: All Linarian Adepts are immune to psychic abilities. This also renders them unable to receive information telepathically without the use of magics designed to mimic telepathy and/or clairesentience.

3: Powerful magic: Linarian Adepts are extremely powerful mages, their minds designed to be near-perfect for channeling magic, and their bodies made all the more receptive to it thanks to equal parts DNA manipulation and splicing of Draconian DNA (modified for compatibility and usefulness). Controlling magic is instinctual for them, though not all use it for much more than basic day-to-day living.

4: Magic Resistance: Linarian Adepts, due to their control of magic, are highly resistant to it. This resistance does not apply to holy magics, however.
