Physical Description

Celeste is a short and slim woman with a heart shaped face, narrow, button nose, brown, doe eyes, and long lashes. Like a deer she has a pair of antlers atop her head that she sheds every season as well as a pair of ears that swivel and move independently of each other. She also has a fluffy deer tail to complete the look. Celeste does have normal human hands and feet though..

Her skin is predominantly copper colored with white “fawn” spots on her rear, outer and backs of her thighs, shoulders, and face. Her chest, belly, and the inside of her arms and legs to her elbows and knees respectively are also a soft cream color. Along her spine she does have a very silky soft patch of “fur” the same color as her body that runs down and thickens as it reaches her tail and sizeable rump.

Celeste likes to wear very simple jewellry, most of which are handmade pieces she’s gotten from little vendor stalls and things at craft fairs. For clothing she absolutely adores lots of pastels or bright, warm colors with nature-y patterns. Sundresses with “twisty skirts” are her favorite.

Personality

Celeste is a shy, little sweetheart. She’s worked hard to come off as outgoing and bubbly but in truth she is very much a nervous wreck inside when it comes to new people and situations. For this reason she can become easily flustered or appear a bit scattered and flighty. She is a kind soul though who is gentle, compassionate, and overly generous when it comes to helping others or trying to make someone smile. She is also deeply romantic and looking for that right person to make her heart pitter-patter just so.

She does not take much stock in what she does though and considers herself nothing special. She lacks confidence in her art and abilities to create despite managing to turn out a wealth of beautiful chocolate designs and flavors. Her general innocence and naivety in life has given her plenty of bumps and bruises along the way. She can be considered too-trusting in the good of others and has been taken advantage of on countless occasions whether it be by former life-partners or by greedy customers. She strives to do her best though and keep busy because in her mind, at the end of the day only hardwork will pay off in the end.

Things

• LOVES coffee art. Will take a ton of pictures to show it off and totally gush over how pretty it is. Coffees have gone cold and undrunk for really awesome art. <.<
• Vegetarian: loves her fruits and veggies. Apples and sweet potatoes are her two favorite.
• Favorite chocolate flavor is white chocolate.
• Prefers honey over sugar as a sweetener.
• Gets her antlers tangled in things more often than she would like to admit. It’s not unusual for something to be caught in them despite her best efforts to keep them clear.

Magic/Abilities

Glucokinesis: Celeste is the queen of sugar and all things sweet. She is able to manipulate sugar to make things sweeter or more tart. She never needs a measuring cup for these things. Your orders though will always be just the right amount of “Sweet” for you. It’s her gift after all

Relationships

Father: Left when she was very small. Celeste doesn’t really know anything about him but has no harsh feelings towards him.

Mother: The woman who taught her everything she knows about food and chocolate. Celeste has a close bond with her mama and loves her dearly.

Archer: Her twin brother. He’s very protective of his sister and has a quick temper when it comes to people taking advantage of her. It drives him up a wall how sweet she can be and how easily she can be walked all over as a doormat. He currently works at AEDA.

History

Celeste and Archer were born and raised in Adstreia. While Archer was obsessed with rockets, space, and all things night sky related, Celeste was more content to play house or help her mother in the kitchen. Her favorite thing to do though was to climb up onto the counter and be her mother’s little taste-tester.
The twins grew up happy and very loved by their mother and grandparents. Unsurprisingly, Celeste developed a passion for all things sweet and chocolatey that lead her to investing her small inheritance from her grandfather’s passing into opening her own little chocolate shop in Adstreia.

It was a lot of work to get it up and going and Confectionately Yours certainly has had its ups and downs. Celeste works hard to run it by herself but, it’s her pride and joy. She keeps an upbeat attitude about it all even as she struggles to keep it afloat and from closing thanks to some of her poor business decisions. (Easily manipulated and extremely naive individuals really shouldn’t be business owners by themselves...)
