Physical Description
Adele is a lanky kid with the muscles and endurance of a dancer or stage performer, and fittingly, they just about always dress like one. Their ivory skin is almost always elaborately decorated with intense makeup, and the clothes they wear are always high fashion, never wearing the same thing twice--though it is important to note that all of their outfits have to be functional. If they can't do the splits in said clothing then they're not wearing it, period. Their favorites tend to be leather of any kind (jackets and pants in particular), high heels, bodysuits, jodhpurs, and anything with shoulder pads. Nowadays they don't wear as much color and tend to stick to black or white.

Since coming back from the Wastes, they're covered in scars, most noticeably a lightning scar with its center on their left thigh (which is now a stump) and spidering out over the rest of their body, up their torso, down their right leg and down their arms. Additionally, they are missing an eye which was gouged out and cauterized shut in the Wastes, and a good 10 inches of the tip of their rat tail was cut off. They have a few different prosthetic legs that they wear, usually made of some kind of metal and some with weapons built in.

Personality
Formerly feisty, flirtatious, fun, boisterous, a showoff and above all else, full of confidence. Now? Less so.

Pilots that lose their dragons tend to lose their minds along with them--Adele is a rare exception.

Having lost their dragon in a fire fight their brain wasn't really given time to process what had happened; they didn't fully realize Kostner was gone until much later into their imprisonment and torture by a group of Raiders in the Wastes. Barely hanging on with any willpower to survive, they were able to escape and eventually meet Andromeda, another Pilot also in the Wastes, who was able to work closely with Adele to keep their brain rooted in reality through the telepathic connection she created with them to simulate something like having a dragon again.

They used to be feisty and flirtatious--now they're full of PTSD, nightmares, and scarily quiet. While they can still joke around a little bit, they've retreated into their shell and rarely come out anymore. It's a very slow process of working through physical and mental therapy to slowly come back into their own and feel comfortable again, after so many months spent confident that everyone in Aedolis would hate or abandon them.

Typically they're quiet and reserved, hyper aware of their surrounds as if they still expect to be ambushed at any given moment, and jumpy. Loud noises spook them and put them into fight mode, though they don't attack when they realize there's no danger.

Magic/Abilities
-Basic Telepathy and Telekinesis
Can communicate with others, can move small-medium objects.

-Plasmokinesis
Originally classified as Pyrokinesis, after coming back from the Wastes it became apparent that their true power was Plasmokinesis, which is the manipulation of plasma (fully ionized gas.) This power means they can not only generate fire, but also electricity, in explosive blasts that would mean instant death if hit by them. They are currently still learning control, and having to tamper back their power is a certain challenge they're eager to overcome. For now, it's either 0 or 100 with almost no in between.

-Fighting Style
Outside of relying on their kinetic abilities, Adele primarily fights with a variety of melee attacks that are best described as high energy performance moves... With guns. They typically use four guns in battle--two strapped to their heels, and one in each hand in a style similar to Bayonetta [link is slightly NSFW.] They use telekinesis to pull the triggers for the guns on their feet and often tend to incorporate voguing, acrobatics and other performance moves with their fighting skill for a fun flare that catches attention as well as it can kill their enemies.

Relationships
Hannibal Thayal- One of Adele's squad mates on the Solarta Valkyries, Addie idolized him a bit when they were younger, and now tries to view him as much of an equal as their conscious will allow. They have a helluva lot of respect for him, and somehow, he's ended up pretty much being the love of their life. Their flirting is endless and constant, and it's amazing the squad doesn't hate them for how sickeningly adorable they can be. When they're not constantly in each other's pants, that is. (How do they even get any work done?)

Andromeda Messiere- Adele's literal savior in the Wastes and now one of their closest, best friends. If it wasn't for her they would have gone insane long ago.

Kostner- Adele's former dragon; killed in action.

Mother- In the words of Adele, "Awful."

Little sister, aunt- Addie loved them both dearly, and have not seen either of them in 7 years. They refuse to talk about it.

Algonquin- A stray poodle Adele found again after rescuing Mia from his curly fur. They named him, gave him a new 'do and now they're best friends. Algonquin is not terribly fond of children.

Trivia
-Has inconsistent nightmares about losing control of their fire and burning to death.
-Is convinced that the above is how they're going to die; a little bit scared, but overall tries to just accept it for what it is.
-Has a surprisingly nice singing voice.
-Is incredibly ticklish, and hates, hates admitting it; they find it embarrassing.
-Is secretly afraid of having any real relationships, so they keep everyone mentally an arm's length away due to fear of rejection from the people they care about most. Plain friends are fine, anything more than that? Scary.
-Doesn't like talking about themself for fear of coming off as annoying or vain. You'll never hear them talk about their feelings; rather they find ways to turn the conversation to a different topic instead.
-Understands and fluently speaks sign language.
-Works well with and loves children.

Species - Rodere
Addie's species is of such a small population and so close to human DNA that finding someone who isn't one who knows what they are is nigh impossible. Children aren't educated on them in schools, nor are Candidates during training. So little of their original culture is left with how their people have been scattered among the stars, most rodere have accepted that the only way they'll survive is by integrating into other cultures.

As far as Aedolis is concerned, most rodere live in the slums, if they're found in Aedolis at all. The majority of their people have a severe distaste for Aedolis and prefer to live in the Wastelands and Teinar. Many who wish to integrate into Aedolian society and make something of themselves choose to dock their tails, and often go about getting listed as Human for their species on any official documentation or paperwork, to keep as much of their history as hidden under the rug as possible without getting into a time machine and simply erasing it. A rodere's species identification is of little consequence--they receive the same exact medical treatment as humans and are so few in number that keeping tabs on their population is unnecessary.

In Adele's case, they were enlisted as a human mutt-mix on official records, but chose to keep their tail, never quite ready to forsake their upbringing and culture, despite refusing to ever talk about it.

History
They lived with their abusive, anti-Aedolis mother, aunt, and little sister in Margad, attending school like every other child and getting into boatloads of (largely inconsequential) trouble. They were a big fan of Pilots and the Valkyries in particular, and any time their mother caught them with Pilot paraphernalia or media on they were beaten. One of the worst times was when she beat them so bad they were pushed down the stairs into the basement and broke their leg, having to drag themself to the hospital later after she left. The moment they discovered their fire abilities at age 10 (while getting in a fight with their mother and the stove was on, mom was none too happy about that one,) they dreamed of nothing more than becoming a Pilot, living a life of daring do and danger and leaving behind the life of gardens and agriculture BLEH that they'd known, and at age 13 they got into the Candidacy program.

Candyland was a dream come true for Adele; bullying quickly became a non-issue by the end of Stage One due to their fiery nature, how much they'd practiced with their abilities in anticipation of acceptance to the program, and how they loved getting into fights as it was. Attempts to harass them failed as they kept no personal items for blackmail and left everything of their old life behind the moment they stepped into the ATC, bursting with confidence and determination. The hardest part was the academics, because sitting down and studying was nearly impossible, until they finally figured out a way of putting their homework in front of them on a treadmill and then all problems were solved. Their favorite stage was the last stage because they were able to help newbies with the program, it turns out working with younger Candidates and helping teach is one thing they actually have boundless patience and joy for.

After exiting Candidacy they were recruited to the Solarta Valkyries, their ultimate dream job, where they performed their duties happily with their squadmates. One day however, what was first thought of as a small attack on the city borders by Raiders in the Wastes turned out to be a massive miscalculation. In the thick of battle, Addie and their dragon Kostner raced to Pilot Thayal's aid to protect him and his dragon from an attack which was an electrified lance built to kill dragons. Adele was stabbed through the thigh, pinned to Kostner, and the electricity destroyed the dragon in a massive explosion. Miraculously, Adele was found by the Raiders before the Valkyries could get to the wreckage, grabbed by their sister who cut off their destroyed leg, and taken as a prisoner to be further questioned.

After an unknown amount of time passed in confinement, under constant torture and surveillance, one of Adele's eyes was gouged out in torture and part of their tail cut off. It was during an attack from another group of Raiders that they managed to escape, getting onto a vehicle convoy and eventually falling off after losing consciousness, where they were found by Pilot Noble Messiere. With her care they were nursed back to health and kept sane as she nurtured a mental connection with them to supplement the loss of their dragon. The two of them fought and survived the Wastes together until Andromeda's mission was complete, allowing her to bring Adele back to Aedolis with her, where they were taken into custody, put through the Axis Point, and then given medical treatment.
