Physical Description
Ptolemy is far from an imposing man of any sorts based on physical attributes alone. The best he's got going for him in the department of intimidation is the sharp arch of his brows and the piercing look his purple-and-fuchsia eyes don when he gets particularly agitated about something, which is often. High cheekbones and a slim jawline allows for an overall slender, structured face. His skin is a light peachy tan, with two claw-like marks arching over his left cheekbone and brow ridge to stop in the middle of his forehead. He has a swimmer's build; his muscles are sharp and defined, but lithe and springy moreso than bulky, even with the heavy lifting of metal parts he does all the time when putting things together. His hair is kept short and is a range of aquas, jade on the underside and lighter blues up top, with a goatee and a neatly trimmed chinstrap that fades at the edges of his jaw in that same pretty sea-green jade color.

Best described as a cactus: prickly to the touch on the outside, but dig in a little deeper and you'll find a sweet, gooey inside. Probably. For the most part, he's kind of a gem in the rough so to speak; he's a bit introverted by nature, finding more comfort in being around machinery than people, though he will occasionally make an effort to socialize with others and have some semblance of a life outside of his work. A little bit of liquid courage tends to go a long way with him, loosening him up considerably and making him quite giggly and bubbly, if not sometimes a bit charming with his cuteness.

But on any average day, while he may be quick to agitate (particularly when it comes to improper care of equipment) he tends to find his niche and settle in rather quickly, sometimes surprising his peers with quips and jokes that hint that, while he may often be deeply submerged in his work more often than not, he does still pay attention and pick up on things. Usually things people would rather he didn't, but whether he's tactful about bringing them up or not depends on the person and how much he likes them.

Telepathy- His weakest skill by far, he often (unknowingly) blocks himself off from others on a regular basis whenever he gets too focused on a task, much to his dragon's dismay.

Technokinesis- Absolutely no surprise here, Ptolemy is extremely adept at interfacing with technology and getting it to do whatever the heck he wants it to. His skill with this power is so surprisingly strong in fact, that when he really puts his mind to it he can hack and hijack equipment from up to several miles away, even if only for a few minutes at a time. Quite handy when someone is running around, fooling with things they shouldn't be.

Kala- Petrol's female dragon. Her most notable feature is an incredibly large sail fin which arcs across her back and makes her look more like a dimetrodon with weirdly long forelimb-batflap wings than anything. She's rather small, not much bigger than a horse, and not really built for carrying a rider. Her lower jaw, throat/esophagus and inner digestive system is all biomechanical, sometimes upgraded by her pilot, though she tends to be skittish about it and only lets him mess with her when absolutely necessary. A bit thoughtless, whimsical and clumsy, it's recommended one not leave out anything breakable when she's in the vicinity, because she will somehow find a way to knock it over, much to Petrol's chagrin.

Had parents, mom wanted him to be a baker of all things and take over their simple family business, but computers and cars beat cupcake batter any day. His abilities were picked up in a screening and off to Candyland he was shipped, the first to do so of his family (that they're aware of at least.) He graduated from Candidacy (with a few hiccups here and there) at age 21, and worked in Adstreia for a while before a superior suggested he help out the mechanics with the Travica Titans, and his transfer request required little time at all to process before it was approved and off he went.
