ERIK VORM IN-DEPTH STUFF

Physical Description Athletic build, slightly on the skinny side. Scruffy dark brown head hair. No facial hair. Eyes are a light brown colour. His left arm was lost in a fight, but rebuilt with scrap metal and electronics. He wears a black shirt with long sleeves beneath a dark crimson Wild West style duster. His hands are covered by a pair of thin leather gloves, the same colour as his duster. On his legs, he wears a pair of old, dark blue jeans and a pair of sleek black boots. Around his waist, he wears a belt which has been modified to carry weapons. He carries a scoped pistol in a holster on his right side, and has an empty holster on his left. The belt is concealed by his coat.

Personality Despite his troubled past, Erik maintains a jovial personality, often having an optimistic perspective. He rarely has trouble staying calm and collected. He tries to avoid physical conflict whenever possible, considering his small build, but thanks to his bionic arm he can handle himself in a fight. Most of the time, he can be found training with his pistol... Or talking about his skill with it. Even though he sometimes comes off as narcissistic and selfish, Erik will not hesitate to put his friends before himself. If there's one thing that ruins his eternal good mood, it's his regret of not being the one to inspect the ship. He doesn't pay much attention to laws, and prefers to think of them as challenges.

Magic/Abilities Erik's bionic arm grants him greater strength than most people, as well as being much tougher than any other part of his body. It's built in such a way that a durable sheet of metal can slide forward, to create a blade from the end of his arm. He is also particularly stealthy, due to his history of thieving.

Relationships Although he has been on Edanith for 3 years, Erik doesn't really know anyone on the planet.

History Erik grew up poor on the outskirts of Aedolis. When he was 13, he began stealing from nearby houses and cheating people out of anything valuable. By the time he was 18, he had amassed a small fortune. Unfortunately, whilst robbing a secure mansion, Erik was caught and turned in to the military for justice. He used most of his money to bribe officials, luckily escaping prison. Shaken by his experience, Erik began searching for a way off Earth, so he could escape the aggressive military government and start a new life on Edanith. While he was browsing spaceships to purchase with the money he still had, he saw a small group of people stealing one of the vehicles. Never one to waste an opportunity, Erik stealthily floowed them onto the ship before they took off. When they were safely away from Earth, Erik decided to introduce himself to the crew. Although cautious at first, they eventually began to like and trust Erik. After a few years, when Erik was 23, the crew for caught in a firefight between two other ships, resulting in critical damage to the hull and engines. The pilot was killed after a missile destroyed the front half of the ship, while everyone else was working in the engine room at the back. After drifting in space for a few days, two of Erik's comrades ventured out of the engine room to inspect the damage done to the vessel. Due to a system malfunction, the airlock suddenly opened and they were both thrown into space, leaving only Erik and the engineer. An asteroid later collided with the ship's remnants, causing a large group of components to fall from the ceiling, one of which catching Erik's arm on the way down. The engineer quickly disassembled the parts and used them to create a cybernetic arm for Erik, to replace the one he lost. After passing out on the ship, Erik awoke in a broken stasis pod on the surface of Edanith. He has lived there for 3 years, constantly on the move since he has no money for a home.
