{NAME}
Bellamy

{ALIASES}
“Bell”, “Mimi,” “Lamey” was given by Tetra, probably has been called “Bella”
"Canopus" for the chatroom, since they finally figured out how to use it

{AGE}
They don’t know. They were born from the remains of a star, so they could be anywhere from five years to five hundred, but they don’t look a day over twenty

{GENDER, SEXUALITY}
Genderfluid, they will accept any pronoun in reference to them, but Bellamy will not use the pronouns. Instead, Bellamy uses ‘this one’ to describe them as an individual.
Also very fluid, but they’re not fully experienced in that area

{SPECIES/ETHNICITY}
Shard, born somewhere in deep space through the death of a Blue Giant star

{HEIGHT/BUILD}
5’1”, slight and willowy

{OCCUPATION}
Mechanic

{RESIDENCE}
Libra

{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION}

Bellamy is slight and willowy, and quite androgynous. This is because Bellamy is technically neither male nor female, but can take on the characteristics of either gender at will. They have pale blue/violet hair which they keep long in the front to frame their face, but shorter in the back. Their eyes are slightly oversized, luminous and blue-green, and seem to have a slight glow to them, which is a remnant of their parent star’s light moments before the star’s death. They have no pupil.

Beyond their work uniform, Bellamy enjoys wearing whatever they happen to find in their closet and makes them feel happy. So Bellamy’s outfits outside of work often don’t match and often clash in color. It’s hard to tell if Bellamy is color-blind or if there’s just something about that particular combination that appeals to them. Bellamy also has a collection of hairbands and barrettes that they’ll wear.

{PERSONALITY}

Bellamy seems apathetic about most everything, but that’s only because they’re very easy going and are like an umbrella: things roll right off them. They will accept just about everything someone says to them with unflinching calm, and they won’t argue with it because they just don’t see the point of it. Nothing anyone says will cause Bellamy to change the way they do things or the way they act, so why bother? But Bellamy does care about people, especially if those people are considered friends, so Bellamy will often go out of their way to help them if they need it.

STARDUST

Bellamy knows that there is an end for them, but they don’t know when or where that will be. Despite that, they do not have a fatalistic outlook on their life. They like to live to their fullest potential, and therefore will often go along with whatever harebrained scheme someone wants to get them involved in. To their way of thinking, there’s no point in living in a safe, secure box, because that’s no life however one wishes to look at it. That isn’t to say Bellamy enjoys dangerous things, or doing dangerous things, because they can still die by normal means, but Bellamy knows that one day, they will turn to crystal, and from crystal to stardust, and they will join their countless siblings who have already lived and returned to the cosmos, so why not live while they have the chance?

Fun Facts:
- Being a literal star-baby, Bellamy doesn’t need special equipment to survive out in space
- They can probably commune with the cosmos, or at least nearby stars, although Bellamy hasn’t exactly tried that
- Bellamy always uses ‘this one’ to refer to Bellamy as an individual, and ‘that one’ to refer to people in general
- Bellamy will “sing” the “song” of stars when they’re feeling happy, scared, or bored

{SPECIAL ABILITIES}

They don’t need special equipment to go out into space, as they were born there, and their body doesn’t exactly need oxygen to continue to function in the cold vacuum. It’s uncertain if they need oxygen to function at all, or if there’s some sort of leftover star-energy that’s empowering them. There’s also a possibility of psychic ability, but they haven’t felt the need to use it yet, so they don’t know if they have something or not.

Slight shape-shifting abilities, in that Bellamy can take on any gender characteristics they desire. Primarily, though, they will only do so if their mate/lover desires it.

“Harmony of the Spheres” - Bellamy has always known how to “sing” the “song” of the stars, and they are more than happy to share, although it’s hard for normal human hearing to pick up the frequency. Bellamy also doesn’t “sing” the “song” like one would expect, but rather makes sounds akin to whale songs and/or white noise.

{RELATIONSHIPS}

Parent - the blue giant star that “birthed” Bellamy upon its death.

Billions of siblings - When the blue giant died, it gave birth to many, many Shards, all of whom separated from each other almost immediately. Bellamy has no contact with their siblings.

Tetra - Their coworker, whom they might possibly have an incredibly awkward relationship with.

{BACKGROUND NOTES}

Bellamy was born when a blue giant star exploded at the end of its life and brought forth not only Bellamy, but hundreds of siblings as well. Bellamy floated off to explore, just as all their siblings did, and learned plenty of things along the way that would help them fit into the world they were just born into. Bellamy eventually found their way to Libra Station and decided they liked it enough there to stay for a while, always knowing there might come a time when they decide to move on. However, that time hasn’t yet come, and Bellamy rather enjoys what they’re doing on Libra, even if it can be a strange place to live.
