Well, at least she had no idea what was about to befall her. He didn't WANT to do this per se, but she had to learn one way, and right now...this is how it was going to be. Piss him off, lose a digit.

Well.

Really, after this one, he wasn't going to bite anymore fingers off. He had done that before. No he was going to force feed her a flayer tentacle and ruin her chances of ever eating properly. Oh that was a deliciously evil though, and he'd probably have to wait to do that one. It would no doubt end with her death, and he didn't want her to die. As a last ditch effort, maybe that is what he'd do to her, but he had to remember that she was supposed to be alive. Ah, right, those little details.

Always the little details.

At least she wasn't crying and her scream was cut short as she clamped a hand over her mouth. He smiled pleasantly, and really, he had been right. She was delicious. Absolutely perfect. She was a bit chewy, perhaps a little wetter than he expected her to be, but the skin just fell off the bone and the muscle was nice. Still, he only wished he could have bitten through the bone and sucked the marrow out but...such was life. Maybe if she was lucky, he'd get the ship to regrow her a new pinky finger. It had the capability, as long as they kept the bone with them. He'd retrieve it later and put it in his pocket. Then if she pleased him, he'd offer that reward for her.

Probably wouldn't take it though.

She seemed like one to grin and bear it.

"No you don't. The gun has a low kickback recoil to it, being a particle charged weapon. You can fire it with one hand. If I have to bite your other hand off to make that point I will. Lady fingers never fill me up, I always need a bit more." He licked the blood from around his mouth, wondering if maybe he should do something to heal that bleeding little stump up so she didn't actually bleed to death. No. That would mean he would have to leave her here, go to the ship, get a medical device and come back. By that time, she could either have killed all the things by then or really just run away, and that wasn't going to happen.

His eyes wandered to her. Why was she leaning against him? And was she shivering? It wasn't cold here...Right! Blood loss. Hah. He forgot about that sort of thing. He made careful to monitor her mind, make sure he could hear her now clear thoughts. Ah. There. There it was.

That divine rage. That fire that burned within everyone. She had been smoldering it, scared, afraid of what may happen but now...now she was ready to let the fire consume her. He watched the first creature go down. A simple pull of the trigger and the particle shot went through its neck. Hah! That was excellent. She was a good shot, she learnt how to use these weapons well. Skar stood there for now, letting her lean on him, while his tentacles absently floated to places on her body, feeling their way across her rump, downward past her naval and upwards to feel about her chest and breasts once more. He had planned to do more actually, to pretty much get behind her and let her feel himself upon her rear but honestly, watching her start to unleash her rage upon things was really quite fun.

He almost jumped when a finger ran down one of the tentacles, his eyes looking to her harshly. "My! The little Mai is growing up so fast. No no though. You can't be trusted, not yet. You'll stand where you are, and you will wait for the creatures to come to you. I want you to look at the dead ones though right now Mai. Look at them. People. Just like you, and now they're dead by your hand. Remember this moment well Mai. You're better than all of these things, better than almost everything, save for me of course, and as such, you deserve to deal their death to them. This is your right! You are higher up than they, and as such you are given certain privileges." Skar moved around her as he spoke, his tentacles dragging about her body as he moved behind her. Ah he found his randiness once more from speaking like that, of being higher and what not. Fingers explore her body while his mouth pressed against her neck, teeth digging in slightly as he kissed the soft flesh. "You haven't got long Mai. I want you to really focus now and start killing what you can barely see. If you do really well, I might let you have your finger back, and I might even take you back to the ship to stop the bleeding." He pressed himself hard up against her as his teeth suddenly poked into her skin, not too far, just a little.

"But," The voice was back to being beside her ear once more. "Displease me again and I'm afraid there will be dire...dire consequences."

Soon-to-be-psychotic bunny girl. Then feer, yes?
« Reply #41 on: September 17, 2007, 10:35:05 pm »
The hollow feeling was a little familiar. Like meeting an old friend you didn’t really like but missed anyway. She could feel the tentacles as they wormed their way around her body. Could feel them but they didn’t shoot jolts of pleasure or tingles anywhere, the pain from her missing finger snaked any of that away. Not that she wanted to like the wiggles from the tentacles, she had better ways of getting off, thank you. Looking down at the ground, the edges of her vision a black haze, she blinked at the gun, seeing another creature hobble its way down to the fresh meat, the other dead body. A shot was fired and the creature fell, a scream of pain was given, she’d only shot it in the gut, it’d bleed to death, like she was bleeding. She jolted slightly and forced her eyes open, her body wanting to faint because of the pain she was ignoring, oh, she could feel it, she was just pretending it wasn’t really there.

They weren’t people just like her. Hardly. She wasn’t hungry, she was clothed… Sort of… and she was only wounded because some psychotic purple alien bit off her damn finger. Mai looked at the two dead bodies, slowly more of them, tumbled over the rubble, careful aim with her sharp eyes and they all tumbled down the hill in a heap, she didn’t want to be here any longer than she had to. Mai didn’t want to bleed anymore, she didn’t want to hurt, she wanted to curl up into herself and pretend this wasn’t happening. This weren’t real people. They were all pretend, they wouldn’t feel pain and the screams and pain she was making them feel was all make-believe, projected into her head by Skar, who was wiggling against her again. The perv. She didn’t get why he wiggled, the tentacles were kind gross.

While Mai was musing about Skar being gross and wiggly. She’d killed a few more people, the haze had grown closer to her actual vision, and all she could se were her targets. Mai had given up on Skar and him stopping the wiggling so, she just wiggled with him, not rubbing or anything just moving with him. Maybe he’d stop or something. A few more creatures went down, her shooting arm now shaking, a little bead of sweat dripped off her chin, and her breathing was heavy. Mai looked around, but nothing came over, moans could be heard from the slowly dying creatures. The gun arm swung down, the device falling from her shaking clammy hand. It was then that she wasn’t focused on anything that the pain really hit her.

A gasping sob left her throat and she bent over slightly, grabbing and ripping a good chunk of her skirt and quickly attempting to wrap up her hand. “Sk… Skar… “ She moaned lightly, in pain, not at all a moan of pleasure from the weird tentacles, that would be ridiculous, or from the hip moving. She couldn’t help it when she leaned more heavily on him, her entire body shook and her brain finally registered all the pain. From the cuts, from the bite on her neck, from her finger, from everything. The only thing that didn’t cause any pain was killing the people, in fact, it made her feel a little better, and she didn’t feel guilty at all. Mai was slowly becoming twisted and selfish. Then again, they were dying, she wasn’t going to die. She didn’t want to die.

Mai wanted to pluck out Skars eyes too badly and shove them down his throat to die. Who would do it then?

No, no feer, not ever. Only pride!

Skar probably remembered that no one really felt anything after getting their finger bit off. Too much rush of endorphins and what not, stopping most sensations. Still. It was freedom to grope then from him. If only she could feel something. Maybe she would have liked it. He made sure to listen to her mind though, he wanted information on her. Maybe he could find a way to use herself against her. Things she liked, things she hated, fetishes she had even. Kaoli had an interesting fetish, she liked having fingers pressed into her lower back. She also seemed to like the engine hum for that matter.

Really liked it.

She had been fun. Annoying in the end, but still fun.

"They've all got families Mai. All have people who love 'em. Now you're sending them straight to their creator. Good work." She didn't cry like some of his victims when they took the lives of sentient humanoids. This was fantastic! Her progress was getting to be absolutely remarkable. Skarol noted something, she wasn't giving them...a chance to die quickly. All her shots were aimed for parts of their bodies that would make them bleed to death in agony. Those haunting screams from the dying were just lovely, like a chorus of angels singing. Ah she was good. She was really good.

"Listen to them all Mai. Listen to them scream and gurgle and die. It's a wonderful sound." She thought they were fake, her mind practically screamed this. Oh no. They weren't fake at all. He had given up doing that fake thing long ago. Planting images of monsters and people to shoot inside the minds of his hostages. No doing that wasn't fun anymore. They didn't scream like this, they didn't gurgle when they died, and they certainly didn't release the sweet smell of crimson spray into the air.

Something changed as he ground himself against her. She started moving with him. For a split second he almost thought she was enjoying it. Then he snapped back to reality and growled lightly in her ear. He started moving a different way, his hands on her hips and forcing her to move in a new direction now, one different from him. He was excited, there was no doubt about that, but he wasn't going to do anything else right now. Later. Oh later he'd do something to her. After all, you couldn't just get someone excited like this and leave them excited, now could you? When you get someone aroused, it was your responsibility to deal with that arousal.

The gun clattered to the ground and a tentacle went to retrieve it. Luckily the gun wasn't that delicate and it could take a beating. Still he wished she wouldn't drop it. He did have a small arsenal of weapons but this one was his favourite. Light, portable, and fed off the flesh of others, just like himself. Though he wasn't that light...and probably not that portable...more stubborn really. Huh. Alright so the only thing him and the gun had in common then was it fed off the flesh of others. "Mm?" His thoughts were interrupted by a moan of pain from Mai. All of his tentacles stopped moving, and he quite grinding against her. Damn. Few more minutes of that and he would have had a mess on his hands. "Alright, let's get you inside." One tentacle did retrieve the bone from her pinky, putting it into his pocket for later.

Maybe she'd get this back. Maybe he'd just wear it as a trophy. They would have to see. Skar plucked Mai up in his arms and took her back to the ship, placing her on the chair and getting the medical kit. Wasting valuable resources on her. She should know that he actually cared whether she lived or died then. He got out the cell regenerator, taking her hand and carefully closing the wound up on her hand. He cleaned the blood away, with a cloth instead of his tongue, and put a hand to her forehead. "I'm going to do something special for you Mai. I hope you appreciate it." He reached inside her mind...and plucked the phantom feeling from her mind.

He hoped she was happy. He went back into the medical bag and removed a small dry wafer, it was sealed in a package and had a slight orange tint to it. Carefully he placed it into the palm of her hand. "You need to eat this Mai. It'll help your body in producing more blood okay?" She had done him proud, she deserved to be treated nicely for once. He did help her get the buckle of the chair back on before he sat down, plotting in a course for high orbit around the planet. He hadn't a clue where they would go now...but he just knew right now Mai would need to rest. No need to push her too far, she deserved a rest after a job well done. She had even survived getting a digit bitten off.

Still. She was going to have to deal with an aroused alien later when she was more awake.

While her body moved on its own accord, she felt a little relieved when he stopped petting her and just stood still. Mai leaned more heavily on him, her eyes half closed and her breath coming out in short puffs. The change of position, from being on her feet, to being in a pair of arms, made her dizzy and she clung to the person who picked her up. Maybe it was her prince charming. Magically killed Skar within a few seconds and was carting her away to live happily ever after. Though, once she regained her brain-balance she looked up and was disappointed. It was Skar, though he was being kind of nice, didn’t re-chew on anything. Mai murmured in her half-sleep those words “That was nice.â€? The loss of blood, and the shock of having a finger bitten off made her sleepy and absent minded, and she mumbled about fairly random things. Like how her boobs hurt.

The warmth of the ship was a comfort from her shaking cold form, being dazed, she barely noticed being put in a chair, besides the dizziness coming back. She blinked a few times, clearing the haze away, to see him tending the wound he made. If she could glare at him, she would have, but Mai couldn’t muster the strength to move the face muscles to do so. Mai leaned back a little when he reached a hand up to touch her forehead, quickly regretting it when her head lolled back and her eyes rolled into the back of her head. Quickly though, she woke her self up, her head quickly snapping back into place, her dark eyes on Skars hand. She didn’t notice until he was done that she couldn’t feel the pinkie that wasn’t there anymore. Where did it go? Mai wiggled the wounded hand, she was like her brother now, missing a piece of herself. Heh.

Dark eyes followed Skar slowly, then looked at the weird thing in her hand. Looking back up at him, tilting her head to the side, she feebly opened the package and took the thing out. It smelt horrible, but he told her to eat it, she could do that right? Besides, it might make her feel better like he said. He was being nice again. In Mais dazed brain, she figured that he’d been possessed, if she was lucky. He really was a nice person before he got her onto that planet to kill things. Then again, he did bite off a pinkie. Mai bit the thing he gave her, and quickly swallowed it, not wanting to taste it or for the taste to get around her mouth, if there was one. She quickly finished if off, and then thought she was being sneaky and subtle when she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

It was a few hours before Mai woke up, feeling almost normal, even without a finger. Her heat was back, she was flushed even, having had a higher-than-PG-dream. The tips of her ears were slightly red, and Mai looked around quickly. Biting her lip, not sure if she could unbuckle the buckle she looked around, cleared her throat and held her arms to her chest. “Um, Skar…? Thank you, for… wrapping up my hand… Slumping in her chair slightly she lowered her head and licked her lips. “Can I unbuckle the belt…?

Hah.

A shining knight to come save her. Her mind was funny when she was like this. As if someone could get the best of him. He was careful after all. He made sure people couldn't easily get the drop on him. Even if they did, they better have their own ship because they would not be able to fly his. "Was it now? Glad you enjoyed it." She seemed completely out of it, and no doubt for good reason! After all, she had been molested, forced to kill, a finger bitten off, all that blood loss, he couldn't really blame her for being out of it...well, he probably COULD blame her for that but still....

Not right now.

She had done well for the time being.

He increased the heat of the ship, even he was feeling a bit cold but no doubt poor Mai was really feeling cold. He couldn't let her die. Oh no...not yet. He wanted to her to live. He was proud that she was fighting so much for that matter. "Don't go to sleep. You need to stay awake you know." His voice was soft as he spoke to her, shaking her to consciousness. He had to keep her from passing out until he could get the proper stuff done. Like stop the bleeding and give her the special treat that would stop her from dying of blood loss. Everything about Skar seemed calmer now, it seemed different, like he actually cared. He did too, somewhere in him, buried deep away he did care, and it was showing now. Only a little bit.

He kept telling himself that he only cared because she was so amusing. Yes. That's all he had to tell himself.

"I fixed your brain." Skar said simply as she wiggled the wounded hand. That was really it. He took away the phantom feeling. A gift really. For doing so well after all. At least she was a bit...more suggestible. She even opened up the package and ate the thing. Sure it didn't smell too nice, but it had a slightly good taste to it and it would help her in the long run. That's when she passed out and he sighed. He set the ship to do a run of the outer reaches of this small solar system. He wanted to know all that was out here in these unexplored lands. Plus...his new co-pilot was sleeping so really he was bored. Time went by slowly...Skar paced once in a while, sometimes he would move to Mai and want to touch her but then he didn't of course. For some reason he stopped himself.

It was hours later and he was back in their chair. The ship had just given a pretty vigorous shake as they came out of their point to point jump, stopping on the opposite side of the sun as they had been on. It was empty space here. Only a few of the planets were occupying this area, three or so. Everything else was on the other side of the sun enjoying itself over there. His eyes looked over to Mai as she woke up, an eyebrow raised. "It...had to be done." He said simply. Yes. That's it.

It had to be done.

"Hm? Yeah sure, go ahead. We're not going to be able to make a jump for a little while. You know, most stars when they're born are binary, there are two of them. Yet you've only got one sun here in this solar system. Isn't that odd? I really do wonder what happened to the other star." It had to have gone somewhere. Maybe it wasn't able to form, maybe it shot off into a different orbit? There were so many possibilities. Hm. There wasn't any place to land. Gas giants, unterraformed planets. So they'd float about in space and wait for the ship to recharge itself.

"Have a nice sleep?" She seemed redder than normal. Her ears were slightly red and she was quite flushed. He had tried to look in her dreams but he had no idea where to find them. A pity too because she seemed to be enjoying them. "You did seem to be liking it. Dream anything interesting?" If had known what she was dreaming, he would have asked this question anyways, but this was really just an innocent question, a casual question to simply pass the time as it were.

Owlishly blinking around, lifting up her hands to rub at her hands and mouth, incase she had drooled or something, Mai looked around. Her dark eyes falling on Skar, watching him talk, it took a minute for his voice to penetrate though the fuzz around her brain but she unbuckled the belt and slumped a little in her chair. Afraid to get off and walk around, incase the “Don’t get out of your chair rule still applied. It wouldn’t do well to have him be pissed off at her up here in the middle of nowhere. Looking where he was talking about, towards the star, the black lids fell into place so she didn’t hurt here eyes, which were surprisingly sensitive to natural light. While her head was pointed towards looking outside, and her eyes seemed to be facing that direction, she was really watching Skar.

He ate her finger. And let her bleed while she murdered people. Then picked her up, carted her back to his ship patched up her finger, the one he bit off, and helped her. Mai wasn’t sure what to feel for him. Hate? No, Mai couldn’t hate him. Sure he’d done some pretty mean things to her, but he was being nice now. Maybe he was having a bad day? A wave of sleepiness washed over her during her train of thought and she yawned widely, bringing up her wounded hand to cover her mouth. The dark eyelids drew back and Mai looked at her hand.

Missing a pinky. Putting both her hands together, she put them palm-to-palm. The left one was lopsided, if Mais ears could droop they would have. Momentarily she lost all urge for conversation, but quickly decided that it would be a good learning experience, and besides, her brother lost an entire arm and he still talked. Then again, his was bitten off by a monster, not someone he was slightly attracted to. Mai imagined her brother being attracted to the huge beast who snacked on his arm and she shuddered a little after making a funny little face. She decided not to tread on that ground again and to never imagine her brother again.

Skar spoke and Mai jumped slightly, looking over at him quickly. Careful to stay in her chair, moving the bits of clothing she had left to cover her naughty bits, she smiled at him politely and looked towards him, her eyes on the wall right beside his head. She was afraid looking at him again, seeing the dead cold eyes and her fate screaming in them. Mai assumed that everyone would be wanting to get away by now, even if he was acting nice. Thinking back to his question, and her dream, she shifted slightly and looked down at her hands, the flush on her cheeks darkened slightly and she cleared her throat before she spoke. “It was a… Very interesting dream. Umm… Were you bored? She quickly licked her lips and cleared her throat again, not sure at all if she was about to say the right words. “I’ll stay awake… and keep you company if you’re bored.

Skar smiled a little bit and as he looked over to her who seemed pretty out of it still. At least she was able to unbuckle the belt, he really wasn't sure if she'd be able to do it with her head still in the fog. She was starting to adapt better to the whole situation. He was glad that she would be able to do so, that would make this new life of hers go a lot smoother. If you adapted, you lived longer. A whole lot longer. Skar looked out toward space, to the large burning sun. Ugh. He thought it was too bright, and suddenly, it was fixed, a new layer fell down over the view screen and they could look at the sun without it burning their eyes. Skar looked over toward Mai with a small smile, knowing she was probably quite restless. "Y'know, there isn't very far to go on this ship but if you want you can get up and walk around."

He decided he'd be nice to her...for now.

Until she managed to piss him off of course.

He wasn't having a bad day though. This had all been planned after all. He plotted the whole thing out, wanting to break her mind and that sort of thing. This hadn't been just a 'Oh I woke up feeling bad so I decided to ruin someone's life' sort of thing, it went deeper than this. This was the way Skar lived, the only way he actually knew how for that matter. It had been quite a while since he had known anything else, when he had, he was young, very young, and he thought he was weak back then, a child who had no idea of the two faces people carried. They were your friend at first, even if they knew you were a mutated person, then what would happen? They'd stab you in the back. Skar naturally then started seeing people as just those that wanted to make fun of him or that sort of thing...so he dealt with it.

Yeah, he was just a little messed up in that head of his.

Skar looked over toward Mai, who seemed to be going back to looking at her missing pinky. Even he felt a little...bad for what he had done to her. He could see her looking between both of her hands and how one of them obviously was missing something. Remember she asked for it. She spat on you. You had to teach the cettira a lesson. He didn't even believe his own mind at this point. Maybe she hadn't deserved it...but...what exactly was he going to do? Well...he could regrow her a finger using the ship but he was pretty sure she wouldn't take it back.

After all, what do you say to a creature who can bite things off of you and then regrow them?

She'd sort of look like a portal food source that would never end.

Skar waited for an answer, his eyes leaving to not look at her anymore. She would need clothes wouldn't she? The...things she was wearing right now really weren't doing her very good justice. Not like he hadn't seen, or felt, anything that she had on her now of course. No her naughty bits and his appendages had gotten to know each other really well lately. Perhaps more than she wished for but...that's how things were. "Hm? A little bit. Not much on this ship to pass time though." He didn't even molest her in her sleep or try to have sex with her, and he was surprised at that because he no doubt could have. "Keep me company? Uh...yeah sure, alright then. How exactly are you going to do that though?" It wasn't a biting question, he really wanted to know, and he tried to sound as polite as possible when he asked, turning in his chair to face her. Golden eyes focused on her, his pupils opening up larger just a little bit, still not enough for her to really see them all that clearly.

"Tell me about yourself. About your planet. About your species. Maybe I'll be nice and tell you about myself." He turned away from her, facing ahead, starting the ship again and simply letting it flit about that side of the solar system, looking at the different planets that they could. He didn't much care for staring at the sun anymore, it was just another sun. Nothing special on that front.

Feeling a little awkward, Mai could only look away when he turned towards her. What could she do to keep him company? Mai bit her lip, let out a huff of breath and looked away, she couldn’t do anything short of babble about nothing, or look at him. Maybe she could start a staring contest. That’d be fun. He’d think she was making fun of him and lash a barbed tentacle at her face probably. She shuddered a little at the thought and pet the cheek that had the cut on it, the cut was gone, she looked down, at her torn and bloody top, blushing. This thing was done for. No way she was taking it off and attempting to make a new one with him right there though. She may be little more than a good pet, but she still had pride, and there was no way she was taking off her top in front of him. At least, unless he threatened her life unless she showed him her boobs.

Hopefully he wouldn’t do that. And if he did, hopefully no one else saw. Mai paused, who else was here to see? The Ship. Mai looked up and around, and behind her, suspicious of the ship. Did it have eyes? Was it breathing? Hey, Skar said she could get up and walk around, it could have been a big fat lie to get her to stand up so he could do mean things to her! Oh well, sitting on a chair made out of the living ship was kind of spooky, so Mai quickly stood up and moved behind it, leaning over the back to look down at the seat, she licked her lips and looked towards Skar. Well, she knew one way of keeping him company. “I’m keeping you company now, aren’t I?â€? A little polite smile and she looked around. Lightly running a hand down the side of the chair, curious about it.

Then Skar spoke again. What did he say? He wanted to know about her? Her species? And her planet? Mai could answer a few of those, but she didn’t know much about her planet. Tilting her head slightly and blinking, she used her right hand to draw little patterns on the back of her left before she spoke. “Me? Well… My full name is Maitrese, I have two older brothers, Ehtris and Drantris, they’re twins. Drantris got his arm bitten off by a beast while they were hunting with a group of royal guards, so I don’t mind missing a pinky. She swallows lightly, trying to keep her voice from being shaky and afraid. While her brother got his arm bitten off by a vicious monster, her little wound came about because of the person she was talking to.

Mai decided she had a weird life. “I’m eighteen, at least, by our calendar, I don’t know how old I am anywhere else… Umm… I’m a Lucidius, we live in the desert, we have a counter part-species on my planet, the Atrum, and they live underground. We trade them fur and meat and they give us water. There’s no water on the surface of my planet, but plenty underground. They could let us dry out if they really wanted to, but they can’t stand sunlight. Um, I’m blind when I have no source of light to see by, but I have good hearing.â€? Mai knew she was babbling now, anything to keep him from eating another finger or doing something worse.

There’s nothing much about my planet. There aren’t many settlements. We move every so often, but have to stay close to the Atrum so we don’t die of dehydration. But they hate us, and we hate them, because they’re diff… Mai licked her lips and looked again. “Because they’re different. She was lightly petting the chair she was leaning on, looking down at it, before looking towards Skar and offering her polite smile again.

Your ship, is it living? I mean… A creature? She looked around, a little weirded out about being in something living. Possibly she’d feel like the flesh of her pinkie if that still had feelings. Which she was glad it didn’t, because she was sure being digested kind of stung.

Really Skar was wondering what they could do to entertain each other that would be...well...appropr iate. For some reason at this time just having sex with her right now seemed like a bad idea. He wasn't sure why but it did. Must be tired or something. Also, she was looking at him funny. Staring at him. What was she trying to do? That's when she looked away and he decided to follow her gaze to her chest, to the ripped and torn top. Now it truly hid nothing, because he could see a lot of flesh and a few other things that just made hum chuckle. Maybe he should clothe his pet just a little better. Maybe. It all depended on just how well she was going to listen and be a good little apprentice. If she messed up, things would go into a whole new direction for them.

As usual.

It always seemed that happened didn't it?

Skar gave a tight lipped smile as he just pressed a few buttons on the console. "Yes, I suppose you are, aren't you?" At least he grasped this language well, he got the idioms, the slang, all the little words and big words. Most of them anyways. He had to act fast to get the language after all. "Maitrese...Hm." Well, at least she didn't hold a grudge about the whole finger biting thing. Of course, he was sure she was lying, and so he'd make sure not believe her on that sort of thing. Not yet...not until she really was his apprentice.

"Eighteen...Lucidius ...desert. No water. Trade with Atrum." Skarol repeated this all quietly, making sure that he would be able to remember it all of course. Of course something in he back of his head should have registered. Royal Guards. He should have heard that and registered it, but the words took no meaning to him. What was a Royal. It had to be important if they were guarded. He just ignored it though and continued to listen to her. Hm. He could turn off the lights in the ship and have a better advantage then...that was good to know. He'd say nothing of course and probably wouldn't ever have to use it but still...it was great to know he could easily take her when he wanted to. So he acted interested, but continued to look about the ship and hit a few buttons here and there.

Something she said sparked him though.

Dehydration. Shit.

"The ship? Well. It's hard to explain Mai. The ship is half biological and half technological. The ship is somewhat sentient...the ship and my mind are linked...I'm sort of the super computer for it...but yes...it is alive in a way. Not to the degree of you and me...but...it has feelings, it can get angry, it can be sad, sometimes it can be stubborn and it refuses to do things...and um." He sighed and crossed his arms, suddenly turning in the chair to look at her.

"You're going to need to eat and drink and well...I'm afraid I've only got a nutrient drink and Kaoli." There was this tone in his voice and look on his face that said 'You will eat it or you will starve' but he also seemed a little...disgruntle d by that. He wasn't sure if she would be able to eat Kaoli for that matter. Would she refuse? Would she starve herself?

Maybe he would have to make an exception for her...They could always go back to that one planet and get the beasts that she killed. He could cook up slabs for them and she'd probably be able to eat it without too much trouble. Well time would tell wouldn't it?

Maybe she'd get so hungry she'd eat Kaoli when he put a Kaoli steak in front of her.

((Not the best one I’ve spat out, but it was being difficult <_<))

If Mai knew the ideas that were running through his head. The darkness being her main form of downfall, and their lack of food. Those thoughts didn’t even float through her head, Mai was far from morbid and her brain didn’t even think of things like that. Sex. The first thought that came to Mais mind was ‘ew’, it didn’t sound to pleasant. She’s walked in on her brother accidently on more than one occation, Mai shuddered just remembering, it didn’t sound to fun, she couldn’t tell if they were grunting like that because it hurt, or because of how they were moving. Either way, it looked funny, sounded funny and mai just didn’t want to think of it anymore, afraid she was going to be sick to her stomach.

Though while Skar talked about his ship, Mai was more that interested. Smiling at him a little listening to him like he knew everything and she was just a student. The small smile that spread across her face when he told her his ship was stubborn was hidden by ducking her head down. That was interesting, he looked at her. Mai looked behind her incase she was blocking the view of something, nothing she could see, maybe he was looking at her? She quickly rearranged the rips of clothing and looked back at him, blinking owlishly. What was he …? And then he said it.

He had no food or water, save for some drink and that girl. Mai swallowed and slowly sat down, holding her hands together on her lap. Licking her lips, she didn’t want to eat someone else. She hung her head for a moment. “I… I’ll starve. I don’t want to eat another person. I’ll be fine for a few days. The polite smile was given and Mai simply tiled her head a little, looking off to the side, her eyes hooded and sleepy looking. She couldn’t think of anything to do, there was nothing to do except talk to Skar. But what about?

It’s your turn… You said you might tell me about yourself… She looked up at him, her eyebrows up, questioning him on his statement. “ You did say that, right?

((Aw is okay Draccy! *Snugglies*))

He just hoped that she'd be able to survive without food for a while. He had water of sorts, it was spiked with nutrients to give you a little boost of energy but it didn't give you the required nutrients that eating would. What would happen when he ran out of Kaoli though? Would he get hungry enough to want to kill Mai and eat her instead? Perhaps. He still had so much he wanted to do with her though...so much that he COULD do for that matter...it was best that he not push it though at this time. He wanted her, wanted to explore her and basically have sex with her but...for some reason he couldn't bring himself to it.

Usually all those nasty things he did were fuelled by rage and she was acting...

compliant really.

He just didn't feel angry at her anymore.

"You'll have to eat something Mai...it isn't that bad. I mean, you eat lesser creatures with no problem right? What's wrong with eating a sentient being then? If they were smarter they would have stayed alive, just like the lesser creatures." He didn't want her to starve, that would have been horrible after all. She'd complain no doubt and her stomach would growl and what not...He'd just have a whole bunch of trouble on his hands,a and he'd probably get annoyed quickly.

Erk! She...wanted him to talk about himself. Nervously he bit his lip. He did say he would...fine. Should he lie about it? Perhaps. "Alright. I was born quite far from this Galaxy. I was born on Viter 5, my parents weren't mutants but I was. They didn't really like me all that much, and when I was old enough I left. Good riddance to them. The whole damn planet was dying, that's why we mutated. The planet was losing the layer to protect itself from radiation, so it had to create us mutants so we could survive. Blasts of radiation to change development of the foetus and make it more resistant. I figure when it does collapse the mutants will walk around normally while the norms will die off." He spoke coldly, like he more or less wished all his planet would die off. "Never really had many friends, nor a place I could call home after I left. Don't need them. It's weak. Having to rely on others like that. I'm better off out here in space. People don't have to look at me much and I don't have to look at them. Only when I need something." He was a contradiction. He did need people, but he hated them, because he hated himself. He was a monster in most people's eyes...so he just lived up to that standard.

"I've been doing this song and dance ever since. Sometimes I've been captured, thrown into jail, but being psychic helps. Breaking wills and learning secrets. I never stay in one place long. Eventually we'll be out of here, I think I might want to visit Rigel or Vega again. Those were some good places."

((I'm writing this on one of the laptops at school, being uber sneaky, yo. Hahah I might not finish, and if I don't I'll finish after work today! 8 pm! <3 ))

A quiet sigh and her eyes closed slightly. He wouldn't understand at all, her not wanting to eat another creature. She was a carnivore because she had to be, not by choice, meat was the only thing available on her planet and she ate it because she had to. Mai bit her lower lip, nodding to him slightly. If she got hungry enough, she'd only eat enough of... Kaoli to survive and sustain herself. Clearing her throat, Mai looked away, wringing her hands and lowering her head, not wanting to look at him. She'd say something to anger him, and then he'd eat her.

Though, when he began to speak of himself she watched him. Sympathy and worry writen on her features. She felt her guy clench and she wanted to get him and give him a big hug. Though she refrained and simple listened with her head bowed, lowered, her eyes half closed. Though he bit off her finger and did enough things to her to give her nightmares, she felt bad for him. For the child that grew up rideculed, because of a mutation, one he couldn't even control. Biting her lip, she clenched her fists and glared down at her lap.

"You shouldn't listen to them. Why... Why would you think like that? You need people. Otherwise I'd never be here, you wouldn't be talking to me..." She'd get her tongue bitten off for this, for sure, being so forward and blunt. Mai would make him angry, but at least she'd plant the seed, and make him think, if he deceided to kill her. "I.. As long as you don't eat me. I can be your friend... I... I don't ..." Mai licked her lips, "I can't understand where you're coming from. But I don't think your a monster, you can be really nice... Really." She smiled a little. " A little scary, but, that's it. I don't mind you otherwise. Though, eating Kaoli will take some getting used to..."

She looked away for a quick moment, pushing hair out of her face and untangling any that got caught around her long pointed ears. Taking a deep breath Mai looked down. "Don't break me... I think.. I'd like to see the places you're talking about, too. I've only seen the places you've shown me." The polite smile was given when she looked up, and she looked off to the side, feeling a little foolish, and blushing a little.

((Naughty Draccy! x3))

He couldn't understand it because for all the years of his life, he ate people. He devoured meat because...it was what he needed. He never understood it but the flesh of sentient beings just tasted better. Sure he could eat things like...well normal beings and stuff, like simple animals, but there is the trouble that he just...likes to eat people. He feels better about it. Each bite of a person feels of pure relief, like a weight lifts off his shoulder and it's just alright. He feels a certain satisfaction, that eating them stops his insecurities and such.

He couldn't put it into exact words but...

He just knew it.

"What? They're right. I'm a freak. And I don't...I don't need you. You're just here to amuse. That's all anyone ever is and shall be." The worried wavering in his voice said otherwise actually. He wasn't sure of that. Every time he killed someone he...he went and got a new one. They weren't like pets because he cherished them a bit deeper for some reason...almost like...friends.

But he'd kill them...he always did that.

"H-how can you not think I'm a monster? I bit your finger off, I've made you kill things, I've practically felt up every inch of your body and I'd like to know the insides, both sexually and experimental." He was looking at her now, his eyes slightly narrowed. How could she think that he wasn't a monster?! This wasn't right at all! Skarol seethed silently, but...then something happened. Things changed. She said something...two things actually.

First was that she'd eat Kaoli...which he actually appreciated but...

It was that next thing.

"What? Y-y-you want to see...those places? I erm...I s-suppose that I could show you some of them...Kaoli did come with me to several galaxies after all so...I guess I wouldn't mind taking you to...Rigel." He take her Vorrin and show her the rise of the two suns and fall of the one moon at the same time. Lush jungle atmosphere, thinner oxygen content but still not that bad at all. He could...take her to show some of those places...he owed it to her.

Wait.

He owed it to her?

Since when...?

Ugh. Whatever.

Looking around, she took in her surroundings. A little leap of fear licked at her heart but she quickly swallowed it, looking down at the ground, before forcing herself to watch him. Not stare! Staring was rude, and would make him uncomfortable, just watch… Which was the same damn thing anyway though watching sounded nicer than staring. Mai blinked for a moment, and watched him, feeling a little heart-sick for the child he couldn’t be. A little odd from someone who’d just under-gone a fair bit of trauma, but Mai was an odd girl quick to forgive, and easy to forget. Convinced that everyone is good, somewhere deep inside, possibly around their guts, seems like she’d just have to willingly be nice to Mr. Skar for him to get weird and fidgety. She watched him through his first speech, smiling a little, sympathetically.

By the second one, and all those sex comments, she was blushing and looking away, a little shamed that he’d done those things to her. Mai didn’t like it, at least, she didn’t think she did, she didn’t really being touched at all. Nor if the tentacles and hands gave her tingly feelings, she had been far to concentrated on… Killing. Lowering her head a little and biting her lip, she’d blinked back tears. “You’re not a monster at all, I am… I killed all of them. I could have died instead, but…â€? Mai gave a small hiccup, quickly brushing away tears before they could roll down her cheeks, “ I killed them, to keep myself alive… I’m so selfish.â€? Holding her arms around her stomach, biting her lip. “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to cry…â€? Backing up a little she looked at him worried, afraid he’d get mad for her crying.

Of course, the comment about showing her the galaxies quickly made her smile and her tears dry up. Mai stared at blinked at him, a smile growing on her face. She didn’t care if he was going to eat her the second she saw another planet, it would be far too amazing. To be able to see these things, in her life time. Mai smiled, and without really thinking about it, she moved over to Skar, and gave him a big hug. “Really? You’ll show me other planets? Thank you!â€? A big smile, and a big hug. Maybe Mai was bi-polar, or just really excitable.

She was acting a bit creepy Skar noted. She seemed to be watching him but...not like a predator or fearful prey but just...watching him. He wasn't sure what to make of it, but he was getting a little worried. She was changing, turning, at first she had been afraid, and now she seemed almost...normal again. Did she like it when he acted nice? Probably. It was much better than the breast groping, hip grinding, finger biting purple tentacled psychopath he usually played himself off to be. Maybe he should learn to be a bit nicer...

"I forced you to kill them Mai. Besides. It's not like I would have let them kill you." Maybe rough her up a bit here and there but he wouldn't have let them kill her. No she was much too special at this point. His eyes narrowed slightly as he noticed that she was crying...then slowly they became soft and he sighed. "It's alright Mai. You're allowed to cry."

Not like she didn't have a reason. After all she has been forced through, she should be allowed to cry just a bit here and there right?

He wasn't that big of a monster was he?

At least she brightened up at the thought of going to another Galaxy. he might as well take her there. It wouldn't be a way of saying sorry, but maybe they could start off in a different light. Maybe. He still had those ideas for her, perverted, deep, mean ideas, but they were pushed aside for the time being as she suddenly clamped around his body and he blinked, his arms raised in fear for a moment and his tentacles digging into his own skin. What the hell was she trying to-Oh. It was a hug. Not an attack. His tense muscles slowly relaxed and put a hand tentatively on her back. Ugh. Maybe she really was broken and he just didn't know it yet. "Yeah, it shouldn't be too much of a problem Mai." Maybe he could convince her to give him a little fun time...Oh that'd be nice. She could do a little 'polishing' for him and he could show her a new galaxy.

That almost sounded like a good idea really.

Maybe the first one would be free though...then if she wanted to see another she'd have to do him a little...'favour.' Oh that would be devilish, and rather fair right? After all, he was punching holes in the galaxy for her, he deserved to be compensated.

Later though.

((*Whines* it’s so short D8 ))

Mai didn’t know she made him all twitchy just because she gave him a little hug. She’d forgotten during those few seconds of willing contact that he was the reason she was stuck, that she was missing a finger. It also made her forget that she should be wary of him, just a little, not overly much, but just a little. The tentacles had barbs on them, unconsciously she brought a hand to rub at the cheek that had the cut on it. Mai held around him for a moment or two, unwilling to let go, despite the fact she should be far far away from him, the warmth of another person was comforting even if the other person was probably planning to eat her. Quickly as if burned, she pulled away and blushed, looking down and held her hands in front of her, clearing her throat slightly. “I’m sorry… I… I don’t know what came over me.â€?

Swallowing, and turning away she quickly took her seat and hunched over, her elbows on her knees and her head bowed slightly. Breathing heavily, she felt bile at the back of her throat, she didn’t need to get sick here of all places. He’d get mad again if she threw up… Not that she had anything to throw up, pressing her hands to her face she sighed and sat up again, leaning against the chair. “S..Skarol… Can we get fresh air soon? Mais voice was small and pitiful, more like a grumpy little child than an angry young woman. “I think I’m going to be sick… Closing her eyes, her head pressed against the chair, she pushed her hair off of her face and moved the long braid from her neck, concentrating on breathing and no moving too much.

Hopefully that jolt won’t make her choke up bile. That’d be gross.

((Oh you are not, you're a perfectly acceptable height for your age.))

Everything was going wrong. He was supposed to be the big bad guy, he was supposed to be the one that was feared! He wasn't supposed to get hugs and thanks you and things like that. Yet she was hugging him! She was hugging him and she didn't even seem to mind for that matter! What was wrong with this picture? Well, she wasn't letting go for that matter, and she was HUGGING him. This wasn't supposed to even happen, not willingly, not until he had broken her spirits and forced her to hug him and do things of that nature. He had never been hugged willingly, at least, not after he had shown what and who he really was. Yet she didn't care. She just hugged him.

That was until she suddenly pulled away from him.

"Yeah...don't worry about it."

Skarol went back to his seat, quickly sitting down. This was just...this was just too weird. "Huh? Oh...yeah." He set the co-ordinates for Rigel. Now sure, Rigel was technically a star and in the milky way, but it also was a planet in the Phoenix Galaxy. Of course, his people had called it Riischel, but it could have easily been called Rigel by the people of the Milky Way Galaxy. He just found it easier to call it Rigel. The ship gave a heavy rumbling and tossing as it punched the hole through space itself, allowing the ship to exit near the planet of Riischel. Just in orbit really.

"We're here Mai. Just..." He didn't finish his sentence though, he couldn't for that matter. This was too weird. Did...did he care for her? Did he care that she might vomit or be sick? No. Couldn't be. He just didn't want his ship...oh his ship couldn't get dirty.

This was all wrong.

The ship began its descent, passing through the atmosphere and slowly landing on the surface. The cabin depressurized and the doors opened, the ramp sliding out and hitting the soft dirt below. Skarol was the first one outside, his shirt tugged on and his cloak pulled overtop of him. No weapon this time. No need. Most of the things here were small insects and flatworms. It hadn't evolved much. Outside was...strange to say the least. It was thick jungle behind them, and clear sky in front of them. He'd landed on a particular cliff he had been fond of, one that allowed you to see the setting of the suns and the rising of the moon. Right now you could barely make out the two burning suns, each of them giving off light and heat to warm the planet's surface. Mai would probably notice she would feel a bit lighter here, as the gravity wasn't proper here. The planet was a bit smaller than most that allowed for life to sustain and grow.

"Riischel. Beautiful planet. It's gonna be about fifteen minutes till the light is completely gone and the moon is out...but just you wait. It's a picture that you can't afford to miss." Skar slowly lowered himself down onto a fallen log, clearing away a bit of lichens before he sat down, just...looking ahead. He came here from time to time, it helped him to think.

It helped him to put things in perspective, as the view would be...

Awe inspiring.

Within the few minutes of sitting Mai was lulled off into a partial state of sleep. Her eyes were open but hooded as if she was just very sleepy. The black eyelid was half closed, giving her eyes an eerie look. The rumbles and jolts from the ship didn’t rouse her, and only when he spoke, a few simple words did her brain allow her to wake and look over at him. It took a few moments for her to sit up and unbuckled, and another few to actually stand. In her tattered clothing, which she didn’t pay much mind too, the fact that Skar has felt and probably seen everything already forgotten, Mai just didn’t really care at the moment.

Slowly and carefully leaving the ship, Mai took small tentative steps once she got onto the ground of the planet. The black eyelids sliding into place, giving her the odd feral eerie look again. In the bright sunlight, she looked rather sickly, a little sweaty, a little tired looking, and her movements were sluggish even though the planet had less gravity. Holding her left hand to her chest, she stumbled along behind Skar. Watching him, feeling a little weird, no tentacles, no gun being pushed into her hand. Tilting her head a little, she stood and watched him while he sat, speaking.

For a moment, her covered eyes looked at the suns. If she could move her eats she’d have twitched them, moving a hand up to ears, making sure they weren’t covered in anything. Finally, once she was done preening she moved towards him and sat. Still feeling a little ill, she leaned against him and watched the sun slowly go down. “You’re… Not going to make me kill anything here? Biting her lip slightly for a moment, she stared straight ahead, her head leaning towards his slightly and her shoulder pressed against him. The body warmth he gave off was making her feel a little better, and the slowly dying heat of the two suns was helping a little as well.

Licking her lips, she sighed softly and moved to sit on the ground and lean against the log. Her head bowed slightly, though still on the horizon, back pressed against the log. She’d seen plenty of sunsets, of course, more often than not she was half blind once the light went away, anything short of a bright light, and Mai couldn’t see. Her pupils didn’t expand and contract with different light sources, sure she’d be able to see a tiny bit with the moon out, but not enough.

As an extra precaution, Mai lifted her hand up, her left hand, which was the one without the pinky and grasped one of his. She’d need it once the suns went down, and the warmth against her hand felt nice. “I’m sorrypenis But please don’t let go. A light squeeze of her hand to his and she simply stared at the horizon, waiting for this pretty picture to paint itself.

Skar noted that Mai was pretty much dead to the world at this time. Maybe she really was feeling sick to her stomach for some reason. He wasn't going to question it though. He decided he would bepenisnice to her, as nice as he could be. She would no doubt find a way to anger him butpenisthings would be alright. She took a while to follow him outside, and when he did he almost feltpenisbad for some reason. She looked a little ill. Sweaty, sick, tried, he really couldn't blame her either. A few hours ago, she knew freedom, now she had killed people, been molested frequently, and found herself missing her pinky finger. Oh and she had been kidnapped by a sociopath loner who also craved company at the same time.

Yeah, things were going great for her weren't they?

Skar shook his head at her question. "No. No death here Mai. That doesn't happen on Riischel. Not while I'm here." He didn't make things kill on this planet. It waspenistoo beautiful, it asked for too much respect for that matter. The view, the planet, all of it. This was a place to relax, this was a place that you would not die, you would not kill, you would just watch the most beautiful celestial picture at this time. She leaned heavy against him, and he let her, he couldn't force himself to push her away. She wantedpenisto be near him for some reason so...

Then she was gone.

She had moved off the log to sit on the ground instead. Then a hand gripped his, and instantly he knew that it was Mai's left hand, because it was missing a pinky after all. "I uhyouwon't let go Mai." This was just oddguysit seemed like they were almost friends of sorts. Not that he minded of course for some reason it felt nice not to have the pressure of anything. Just two people. Slowly Skar moved down from the log to sit beside her, his hand still gripping hers. Why was she so afraid? In the back of his mind he knew it was because of the dark, she would be blind. Would she get the full effect? Hewanthoped that she would be able to. No one should be robbed of this.

And that's when the sun's light finally disappeared from the sky. Or at least, they almost disappeared. A strange new light was filling the sky, ones of cerulean blue, aqua green, and a strange swirling light violet colour. Celestial lights, and they seemed to cloud in front of the moon which was a very bright white. Two suns after all helped to cause great reflection on the moon. There it wastoseethe picture he wanted her to see. Well not ALL of it but soon. "Just keep watching Mai. It's going to get a lot better." The celestial lights were slowly dying, and that's when the sky lit up with stars.

Not just stars though. They could see galaxies, nebulas of all different colours in the sky, even a large streak of red and yellow from a star that went super nova. It wasmai'smagnificent for Skar. There were very few places that allowed you to see Galaxies and nebulas, all from the comfort of a planet none the less. And he had someone to share it with tooboob?he had Mai here to enjoy it, or he hoped she could enjoy it.

Tilting her head as she watched the sun sink, biting her lip slightly her hand tightened. Mais breath quickened when the suns finally went down, and she pressed her entire side against Skar, realizing that he’d moved off the log and was sitting beside her. The second the sun had gone down, it was completely black. Mai hated the dark and whimpered slightly, before remembering her eye still had its protective eyelid closed, opening that, it got a tiny bit brighter. A sigh of relive and but she didn’t move away, she simply tilted her head up. Looking up, Mai was a little disappointed she couldn’t see all the pretty things that were supposed to be there. Well, she could see them, but they were dim, probably far less wonderous than what Skar was seeing.

Feeling a ltitle guilty because her vision refused to let her see the things he wanted her to, she pressed a little closer, putting their hands onto her lap. Tilting her head slightly, towards him, she whispered, feeling like a loud voice would break the dim, yet pretty stars she could see. “I see it, but only hazy colours. I’m sorry my vision isn’t good enough to see all the stars… Though she looked away, her eyes were still on the stars, slightly amazed that even though it was dark, she could see them. Taking a deep breath, she cleared her throat and shivered slightly, with the suns gone and the day night, the heat went away. Slowly her bodies tempurature rose, to keep her warm, she didn’t notice how warm she got, just that she got less cold.

Skar would notice, Mai was far beyond normal body tempuratre, almost to the point of feeling like she had an entire body fever. Which means that if she had a real fever, it would be hot enough to possibly mildly burn a wayward finger if one was to touch her. Luckily, though she felt ill, Mai had no fever, was a little sleepy, still felt a little sick to her stomach, but was not sick beyond that. Moving her right hand, she placed it over her other on in her lap. Trapping Skars hand between her own, lightly petting the back of his hand, tilting her head to the side at the odd feeling of it. Looking up straight ahead like a blind person, her hand slowly beginning to pet up his arm before she realized what she was doing.

“I’m sorry. It’s… Your skin… Tentively, gently and slowly, she rose her hand and lightly dragged the knuckle of her index finger over his cheek. “It feels… Different. A little smile, the polite smile she wore far too often, and she put her hand back in her lap, the thumb of her left hand petting over Skars hand. “Skar… I can’t see around me… Just the sky… So don’t let me fall off the cliff, okay? A teasing lilt in her voice when she spoke about the cliff, but, Mai was dead serious, she couldn’t see a damn thing but the sky.
