Smash knew that he really didn't have to keep them this long just to say that. But really, if they were going to waste his time, then he was going to waste theirs. He could be a little spiteful at times... okay most times.
However with the two of them gone, he focused back on getting the place cleaned up and everything in order for the next day. He, Jas and Tao had to be at the bar they were playing at within the hour to start setting up. Knowing that he was at least going to be able to perfrom was going to be a good end to this stressful day.
