Gravitation (open)
« on: January 15, 2009, 12:40:25 am »
It was opening night for his club. The one down in Taerin having opened a while back and was thriving. Avalon had taken care to ensure that everything was perfect for this Gravitation.

The main floor was set up for the general masses. A huge dance floor with dance cages scattered around the edges. It was set lower then the ground level so a person had to venture down a flight of stairs to get to it. The stairs were wide enough that 6 people could pass by, then opened wider towards the bottom. A set leading from near the front door, and another towards the back. A dj booth was set back into a corner. From here not only could a person adjust the speakers, but they have full control over the lighting system for this part of the club as well. A stage was set up behind a false wall along the dance floor. When the wall was removed, the stage was perfect for a band to set up and provide live music for. Avalon had made sure this was pointed out in the advertising he'd seen to, and included a date for band auditions who wanted to book a gig.

The upper part of the main floor was set up for two bars. One closer to the dance and enterance, while the other was set further to the rear and near the hallway for the back rooms. There were booths lining some of the walls, and seating areas sunk into the floor with booth like seats surrounding the circular tables. One hallway lead to an emergency exit and the washrooms, while another lead to the back rooms. These were rooms that were set up almost hotel style. Each having a large bed, a couch, some chairs, a coffee table and an adjoining washroom. They were fully furnished and wonderfully decorated, and could be considered high class. The rooms could be used for sex, or as a private place for people to do their drugs.

A roped off set of spiraling stairs lead to the second floor. Most of the floor area was cut out so that a person could view what was happening below. The entire floor was almost like a huge lounge, with large over stuffed chairs and couches that people could sink right into. Tables were glass with iron legs, set lower to the ground as the chairs were as well. There was even a couple areas set up with piles of cushions around a round table, with gazy see through fabrics draping down in a partial barrier. The areas meant to be used for hookas, though if the table was cleared, it could be used for other things as well.

There were back rooms on this floor as well, but those were reserved for VIP. These rooms set up for business to be held in, and perhaps a bit of entertaining, depending on what the person wanted. There was also the hallway that lead to more washrooms and an emergency exit. There was only a single bar on this floor, though each of the VIP rooms had their own bar.

Everything was ready. The staff had arrived and been breifed earlier. They were all in their stations now. The music was pumping, and the bouncers were at the door waiting to let people in. He wouldn't make a grande announcement. It wasn't his style. Instead he would watch from the sidelines, and allow the dj to make the important announcements.

Once opening time had finally arrived, he alerted the bouncers to start letting people in.

Poking at the tip of a white horn, Raanan wasn’t sure if being from a good-yet-unknown bad was fun or boring. There were the people who’ve heard of them and liked their stuff, of course there were few as many perks as there were downfalls. The blow jobs from possible groupies were nice. The pats on his back from being in the band were nice. Unfortunately, no one really noticed him until he mentioned he was the drummer. Though at least they believed him.

It had taken a bunch lies and wiggling to get to the front of the line. They even used a line of “I know the band IF! I’ll get you their autograph.” even if it made Raa want to smack someone in the nose when they got really excited and started to wonder if they were going to head-line for this place tonight. Of course they weren’t. Raa hated the damn band and he already knew they had stopped almost all their concerts until they got a new singer.

Pah, stupid normal people.

Raa was bouncing impatiently to get in, Andreas right beside him, the singers wrist in the drummers hand. Why did he bring Andreas? He’d just have to baby-sit the druggie bastard anyway. Maybe if he collapsed they could meet the owner and get into the VIP section. Ooo, Raanan looked towards Andreas for a moment before grinning like a wolf and looking at the door behind the head bouncer.

A pleased smile spread on his face and he looked around, they could do this. They’d played a few gigs. He’d eat his own fist if that stupid band IF was in there. Mind Haze was going to beat them eventually, but with the singer having gone to be a Candidate for the stupid Pilot Program gave them more publicity than they deserved. Probably be even more popular if the little brat failed. After successfully killing any excitement he had before, the doors were open and Raa dragged Andreas in.

The music was okay, and he suddenly felt a little stupid. Looking around he frowned and went and leaned close to Andreas, all but screaming in his friends ear. “If you pretend to collapse we can weedle out way into the VIP area.” he really hoped Andreas wouldn’t sing, that would just be painful for everyone, that or the owner of this place would have to shut down and hand out condoms.

Blinking around him, Andreas was rather fascinated by the sparkly top a girl in line was wearing. As he was going clubbing with Raa, the singer had taken an upper, rather then his normal preferred opiates. He didn't really think of himself as a druggy, as he only took actual drugs maybe once or twice a month. Pot really didn't count as a drug or so Andreas felt.

But he was know high as a kite and blinked, started as Raa jerked him forward as they moved into the club. The flashing lights and blaring music looked even better on the drugs and if Raa hadn't had a good grip on his wrist, he would have already been in the middle of the dance floor.

"I have to collapse? I thought we were going to have fun tonight." Andreas sighed, making a face, "Alright. But you owe me a drink. I'll go start dancing, then collapse. Nice and visible?"

Tugging his hand away from Raa's. the siren moved into the crowd, tucking ihs small wings as tight to his back as he could. They were going to get bumped, but he wanted to limit the amount of feather breakage.

Spotting a pretty, androgynous looking human, Andreas started dancing against them. Best to have other patrons see the fall, so the management would want to look good.

One really couldn't be the lead singer of a band and not know how to preform. So after a bit, Andreas had some attention on him. And mid-bump in grind, he paused, looking confused for a moment and as his partner started to ask what was wrong, his odd colored eyes rolled back and he dropped like a rock, not making a move to cushion his fall.

Raa so owed him for this.

The reaction to the collapsing man was instant. The crowd breaking way a bit to back up from the male. Already the gossip was being spun and passed along. It didn't take long for Avalon to become aware of what was happening, and he motioned a couple of the inside bouncers to handle it. The man would be taken upstairs to a quieter area to make sure that he was alright. If need be, he had hired a medical staff that could take care of people who over dosed in the club before getting them to a hospital.

Avalon moved to wait up on the steps to the second floor. It was most quiet as the ropes on the stairs hadn't been taken down. He was certain that the man had a friend or two who would be concerned about him and want to follow. It was only natural, and it was still early enough that the friend most likely was still clear headed, and hadn't gone off with a piece of tail for the night.
