Physical Description
Eva is relatively short and stocky, but not excessively round. Her legs are well muscled, unlike her arms, which make them look extremely awkward looking on her body. She is extremely pale. Eva has darker blonde hair, which she occasionally streaks with temporary brown dye. It's at a medium-ish length, but she almost never wears it down; it's always in two buns on either side of her head.
Since she is a tomboy, any kind of dress or skirt is an absolute 'never'. Since she's pretty much flat chested, she tries to wear things as genderless as possible (usually with shorter sleeves) in darker, neutral colors. Eva wears a belt with all her repairing equipment just in case she's hired for a job on the spot, and she finds the weight is comforting. Also, her height is a problem with her, so she makes up for it by wearing pairs of chunky boots to give her an inch or two more.
Personality
Eva is a person who definitely lives by the moment. She often finds herself bored (which is why, most of the time, she's unemployed) and for this reason, she displays nomadic tendencies. She also lives by the golden rule - she treats others like they treat her. When something that Eva's working at goes awry, she's easily frustrated and sometimes gives up on it all together, leaving a terrible amount of projects unfinished. But overall, Eva is a very happy and content person. Seventy five percent of the time she's smiling (or some variation at least) or joking around with someone who she thinks needs to smile too. She gets bored a lot if she's wandering around by herself, and gets curious at the first interesting thing she sees.
Weaknesses
-Her mouth causes Eva plenty of trouble when she's ticked, as she looses control of her speech when she talks.
-She cannot remain quiet or still for long periods of time if it is completely quiet, and Eva can not stand awkward situations.
-She also has an incredible sweet tooth, which does get her into sticky situations often.
-If she hears a good song, she will stop everything and start dancing. Mind you -- when she dances, she does not dance well and usually trips someone in her way.
-Eva's family is the only matter of heart she takes dead seriousness over. Jokes about her father or mother? Out of the question.
-She has no idea how to fight hand-to-hand. The only muscles she has are in her legs, and she can only use them to run (and she's not very fast either)
Strengths
-When concentrating, Eva has deadly accuracy with a gun (thanks to her father and older brother).
-The more pressure that exists, the better Eva works.
-Since Eva has a decent sense of humor, she's very good at lightning up the situation. It's usually something she's more than happy to do, since she has a secret desire to leave everyone with a smile.
-While she doesn't often pay attention to the larger scheme of things (making her seem a little slow), Eva can pick out things among the details others might miss.
Likes
Noise - she must be listening to something at all times if she isn't talking to someone else.
Trivia/Mind Games - Eva and her brother used to play a lot of things, mostly riddles and puzzles, usually leeching off things their parents brought to keep their aging minds active (but never get around to actually using).
Food - Especially if something smells absolutely delicious or is sweet, Eva will have her hands on it before anyone even blinks. Her favorite food/candy is white chocolate.
Dislikes
Eva can be incredibly arrogant and even narcissistic at times, she will snap at anyone who gets a holier-than-thou attitude in her proximity - will usually result in physical harm if the gender of said offender is male.
Anything disgusting she will run at, especially bugs. It is the only girlish tendency she'll admit to having, and she has no shame about huddling on top of a table to avoid an ant crawling on the floor beneath her.
Magic/Abilities:
Eva has no magical abilities to speak of, however, she has been considering joining some kind of crew or the military. Up until her first visit to the Cancer, she had only been tampering with guns and not using them. Before her brother disappeared, he gave her practices in sniping and she found herself drawn to it.
Family
Mireille Lucas - Eva's mother, a former spaceship pilot. She settled in Tynova when she met her husband and hasn't moved since.
Anderson "Andy" Lucas - Eva's revered father, he used to service spacecraft and weaponry for the army of Edanith. He has retired, and chose a more peaceful life in the Space Station Libra after his and Mireille's divorce, where he is a service technician.
David Lucas - Eva's equally revered brother, who has eloped somewhere with his fiancé and has yet to show up again.
Friends
Desdemona Belmont - a former vocalist who is currently on a mission deep in outer space with her older sister; she hasn't heard from the girl in years, but Desdemona is the only one Eva has a deep trust with.
Foes
While not a complete enemy, Eva does despise her mother to some degree. Her mother is highly opinionated, and after piloting in the Edanith army, her prejudice against mages was so disgusting it almost made her daughter wretch. She doesn't like Eva's lifestyle - she wishes that she'd come back to be more involved in the development of Edanith's colonies so she can live a more stable life (ie - marry, raise a family, have children - that kind of thing, instead of wandering between Space Stations without end). Thus, Eva hasn't seen her mother since she left with her other family members.
History
Eva grew up on Edanith with her parents and older brother, although when she was 12 her parents got divorced. Instead of staying with her mother, she went with her father to the Libra, as she preferred being a tomboy around him then a stuck-up, needy girly-girl around her mother. Living with a fully grown man and a brother who out aged her by five years, she tried most of her teenage years to be the other son her father wanted, and succeeded.
However, raising two children caused her father a lot of pains when it came to making ends meet. They got through it, and lived comfortably after her brother came of age and left, but due to the struggle and her parents divorce, she has resolved never to marry and have children of her own. It is also her reason for never pursuing a serious relationship.
Eva has shown a great interest in all types of machinery and technology, especially guns. When she was with her father, she usually followed him around on his duties and learned how things worked. Despite how potentially destructive they were, her favorite thing to see repaired was the space station's weaponry. Eva paid very close attention to how they worked, and even asked to be taken to training with them (which she eventually did), but never thought until using them against someone until she reached 20.
When she came of age, Eva still did not leave her father. Although travels between space stations quite frequent, she still has her room in her father's quarters and crashes there frequently.
