I am looking for partners to help my character capture some alien wildlife to make into medicine and other supplies for the black market.

Not necessarily a bounty hunter or smuggler, but, as a pirate, Drake's not opposed to transporting illegal items, for the right price, and his two ships are pretty well equipped to deal with almost anyone who'd interfere.

Sounds promising. I don't have much planned beyond what I already wrote. I also dont know what the creature looks like. Shall we figure it out as the story unfolds? You're welcome to start the thread. :)

Perhaps Segunda can meet him and they get some alliance? Segunda is a bounty hunter and a merc, a pretty powerful one.

A smuggler (GIR) and a merc (Arad). Looks like we have a full cast of characters. A three way alliance it is, then. If it is amendable to both of you. Otherwise, I don't mind having two separate threads. :)

I'm not opposed to a three-way thread for the initial meeting, at least, though, being that it's your plot, I think you should start. As for making it up as we go, that's totally fine, too.

I have a couple of characters to throw her, or any one else you have you want to use. Many of them are Aedolis dwellers, but I can make some exceptions. They're all in my signature. Calixte, Trevan, and Bronson, are a little more free to move around, but let me know if anyone interests you.
