Ykan was more than happy to have 'shore leave' on the Cancer... there was very little eye candy for him on the Sassy Juice... not to say the crew wasn't attractive, they just didn't fit into the spirit's particular tastes... not that it stopped him from fooling around with some of them. Still there was nothing quite like teenagers~
Cute little pretty things with their whole lives a head of them... thinking they're invincible when they know so very little of the world... so innocent, even the corrupted ones. There were always corrupted ones on the Cancer... some would try to steal from Ykan, others hinted at naughty things... but only wanted money for it. Money they could have, but the blue haired man had some standards... if they weren't actually into it he wouldn't make a move... but they were so nice to look at. He had wandered around the station for a while, gotten a few drinks in him and a bit of cheap food and then got bored for the night.
A yawn escaped him as he made his way back to the docking bay for the night. There was little point in renting a room if he had no one to share it with... it would be better to just sleep on the Sassy Juice like normal. He wondered for a moment if Ari was getting his freak on... or recruiting. Or both.

Vin was ready to leave. The Cancer was much too shady for him; even though he was a thief, it’s much easier to steal from people who weren’t thieves themselves or constantly looking around suspiciously as they went about conducting their crooked business. So, because of this, he was currently in the middle of trying to sneak onto a ship labeled the "Sassy Juice", chosen by him because of the unique design on the outside. Vin assured himself that he would never be caught on this ship- just glancing at the outside made him think that the crew had to be made up of a bunch of blind idiots if they thought this rainbow-barf of a paint job was a good idea.

Well, unfortunately for Vin (or perhaps fortunately, who knows) Ykan was far from blind. His mulberry eyes quickly caught that fluffy brown hair and little frame in there sights and... well it warmed his heart to think that candy would just try to waltz onto his plate like that. So sweet~
Still actually letting the little thing sneak on might be bad an what not. Ari wasn't fond of stow-aways... even though he too had a soft spot for kids (albeit not in the pervy sense like Ykan). The moon spirit kept his delight in check and decided to stroll silently behind the kid and watch as he got closer to the ship. How old was this little thing anyway? 10? 11?
Adorable, yes... but that young... well it was pushing it even for the moon spirit. After a moment of debate he decided not to let the little mouse stroll into his nest. "Whaaaatcha doooing?" He asked in a playful voice, acting not much older than a 15 year old himself. He was fairly close to the kid at this point, he snuck up behind him and was perhaps only a foot away at most. The bright smile on his own face was mostly playful and innocent.... ok so it was a tad bit creepy.

Suddenly hearing someone behind him, Vin jumped and turned around, ready to stab and run. However, not expecting the newcomer to be so close and with such a...creepy expression on his face, he instead yelled in surprise and fell backwards onto his butt.
"Wha-?! OUCH! Gah, what the HELL?!"

Ykan giggled a bit at that cute reaction. See? So innocent. "You ok sweetie?" He tucked a long lock of light blue hair behind his hair and held out a hand for the kid. "So what are you up to little guy?"

Vin wrinkled his nose, glaring up at the guy. Dang it, this jerk caught him red-handed. Maybe he could play it off.
Ignoring the helping hand, Vin stood up and looked off, patting his bottom. "I'm not up to anything! I was just leaving." He then looked sideways at the guy, hoping he wouldn't ask any questions and move out of the way so that he could leave.

Oh boy, this kid was just adorable! Ykan smiled happily and chuckled a bit, resisting, by some miracle, the urge to hug the breath out of the little guy! "Uh huh, so you weren't trying to sneak onto this rainbow ship then?" He asked softly, although he didn't move a bit. He wasn't letting this kid just get away. "How old are you little one?"

Aw crap. So he did noticed. Vin's nose twitched slightly in irritation. Pretending not to hear the strange man's first question, he instead opted to respond to his second one, deciding to answer truthfully.
"....I'm 14." He folded his arms, glaring harder. "What's it to you?"

14. The number made confetti fall in Ykan's mind. 14 was totally fine... he was afraid the kid was younger than that though. Even the glaring was adorable as hell. "You just look so cute and little is all... I wasn't sure if your balls had even dropped yet." The blue haired man giggled and put his hands on his hips. "So. Why did you want to get on the rainbow ship? Do you even know where its going?"

Cute and little...?! Who the heck was this creep?! Vin made a face that was somewhere between confused and disgusted. That's it, he wanted away from Mr. Creeper now.
"No, I don't know where it's going, and I don't care. I wasn't even really gonna get on anyways." Vin slipped his hands into his topmost pockets. "Now get outta my way so that I can go, you creepy idiot!"

Awww now that hurt... why did this little guy have to call him that? Ykan pouted a bit and made puppy eyes at the kid. "You don't have to be so mean... I mean, I'm being nice. If I had let you get on our ship our captain would have found and killed you for stowing away on it. He doesn't appreciate stow-aways..." He looked at the boy's hands in his pockets. "And now you want to threaten me huh?" He sighed and shook his head moving slightly out of the way. "...I would haven given you anything you wanted too..."
The older pouty man sat cross-legged, hovering in mid air like it was the most natural thing too. "I just wanted to see you smile..." Ykan sniffled, his black bunny ears drooping cutely. Oh when had those popped out? He hadn't even noticed...

What...the crap.
Stunned into silence, Vin's eyes kept flickering up and down. Between the freaky floating and stupid bunny ears, he wasn't sure what to stare at. Continuing to look in disbelief, he took his hands out of his pockets. Vin's seen all types of people in his travels, but Mr. Freaky-Floating-CreeperBunny was definitely a first, if he was really even a 'person'. Either way, this wasn't someone Vin felt comfortable pissing off, so he just stood there, looking.
Finally finding his voice, he pointed at the guy dramatically and very loudly asked, "What the HECK are you?!"

Ykan giggled uncontrollably at that amazingly dramatic reaction, he thought he might even fall back from laughing so hard. Finally he wiped a tear from the corner of his eye and winded down the chuckles. "You are just preciously adorable!!!" He smiled reaching out to ruffle that fluffy brown hair.
"My name is Ykan and I am a spirit... but don't worry I won't hurt you. I like kids!" He said cheerfully. "What do you like? I really do want to see you smile..." He said in that upbeat happy voice of his.

Frowning, Vin slowly lowered his arm and patted down his hair. A spirit? Okay, sure. Watching him, that wasn't too hard to believe. But geez, were all spirits this freaking happy? At least he said he doesn't hurt kids. Vin still wanted to be careful, though.
He blinked up at Ykan the Freaky-Floating-Creeper-BunnySpirit's question. What did he like? That's a pretty random question. Tapping his foot, Vin thought about it. There were two things he absolutely loved, but he hesitated to say what they were.
Folding his arms, he finally mumbled, "I like hamsters and vanilla ice cream." Not at the same time, of course.

Ykan blushed a bit himself seeing that cute expression and hearing him mumble all pouty like that. "Well that's an easy fix! If you want some vanilla ice cream I can make some on the ship!" He said with a bright smile. "And as far as hamsters go..." With a snap of his fingers the Freaky-Floating-Creeper-Bunny-Spirit transformed into a little fuzzy tan hamster with cute little beady eyes, of course they were the same pinkish-purple his eyes normally were. He landed on those crossed arms and scurried up the boy's shoulder till he could nuzzle the boy's cheek with his own puffy whiskered hamster cheek.

Vin nearly wet himself when he felt something land on him. However, looking over, his expression completely changed. He tried hard to hold back the childish smile he knew was coming, but it broke free, spreading across his face.
"Ah! Hamsteeeeer...!" Picking up the now Ykan the Adorable Hamster Spirit in his hands almost giddily, Vin petted him lovingly, a completely different kid from the brat he was just a few minutes ago. It was pretty strange how much the tiny rodents affected him.

Ykan was super-duper happy to be petted by the the cute kid, who was even cuter happy than pouty. Awwww!!! Ykan played it up too, wiping his hamster face with his little tiny hands and making those cute little clicking noises. He was used to playing it up as a cute little bunny, a hamster wasn't much different, just smaller. He licked and nuzzled the boy's hand, happy to have made a cute little friend.

Even though he knew it was the spirit creep, Vin couldn't help his heart skipping a beat when he felt him lick his hands. It was just too freaking cute. Darn it, hamsters were his weakness... If he could carry one around with him all the time, he would. He moved Ykan into his arm, holding him against his chest. Vin was almost disgusted by his sudden affection-toward something that wasn't even really a hamster, no less-but he pushed those thoughts away, petting the spirit-turned-hamster even more. It was so adorable...!

Ykan nuzzled and snuggled the boy's chest cutely, loving this sweet boy's innocent love of his cute little hamster form. After a moment he jumped out of the sweetie's arms to lead the way on to the ship. If they stayed out here and Ari came back then Ykan wouldn't be able to play with his new friend. He stood up on his hind legs to see if the boy was following before rubbing his face cutely and continuing on to the ship.

Vin make a noise of disapproval as Ykan jumped out of his arms and scurried off. As he continued to watch the hamster, though, he realized he wanted him to follow. Vin paused, thinking about what to do. A little while ago, he thought he was going to get into trouble for sneaking onto the Rainbow Barf, but now, he was actually being invited in. Deciding to take advantage of this hospitality, Vin shrugged and followed Ykan into the ship.

Ykan was glad that the boy followed him onto the ship. He led the little guy all the way to the Juice's kitchen and promptly changed back into his blue haired self, minus the bunny ears for the moment. Luckily for the little one (or unluckily, whatever way you look at it) Ykan could make his clothing appear with him.
The spirit sat on the counter top, kicking his legs back and forth gently as he gripped the edge. "Sooo what's your name? Are you hungry?" He asked positively giddy. He hoped the little guy would still like him even though he wasn't a hamster at the moment... well he could always change back into a cute little fur ball.

As he walked through the ship, Vin looked around, thankful that the inside wasn't hideously distracting like the outside. Hopefully, he would have a chance to look around for some nice things to steal later.
Upon reaching the kitchen, his face instantly soured when he saw Ykan's normal form (at least, he assumed this one was his normal one). Urgh, he almost forgot that the sweet little rodent he was playing with was actually the creeper bunny spirit. Oh geez, and he was hugging him and petting him and stuff too! Ugh! Making a mental note to never fall for that again, Vin walked over and leaned against the wall furthest away from Ykan and looked at everything but the spirit.
"......Vin. I guess I could eat," he grumbled. It's actually been quite a while since he last ate, but he didn't need to mention that. He wasn't going to beg.

"What a sweet name~!" Ykan was like a kid in a candy shop... which would have kids in it... which would mean he was like him in a candy shop, with kids all around...
"So!" He pushed himself off of the counter top and smiled brightly. "I'm the cook around here so I can whip up just about anything you want! Did you want ice cream now or some real food first?"

"Ice cream," Vin answered, a little too quickly. He hadn't had the sweet treat in a while, and he was excited to eat it again. Excited on the inside, at least. He was determined to keep that angry look on his face.

"Well then, you are in luck cause I have some vanilla already made!" He said as he opened the freezer and pulled out a large container of the ice cream and then got out a bowl and scoop putting a hefty couple of scoops in the bowl for the boy. "I make my own ice cream for the crew you know. I take a great deal of pride in it too." He stuck a spoon in it and slid it across the counter for Vin before proceeding to put away the ice cream. "I usually make a bunch of vanilla then add other flavors into smaller portions for people. Oh! We probably have sprinkles left if you want."

Vin walked over to the ice cream and picked up the spoon, poking at it suspiciously. At the offer of sprinkles, he scoffed, wrinkling his nose in annoyance.
"Do I look like I'm seven?"
With that, he took a tentative bite of the ice cream. Pleased with the tasted, the then proceeded to start shoveling several large spoonfuls into his mouth, eating messily.

"Is that a trick question?" He teased, sitting back on the counter. Vin looked so cute eating like that... Ykan wanted to reach out and wipe the ice cream off that cute little face~
And with that, and the admiring smile plastered on his face, those silly bunny ears popped up again. But he couldn't help it! The kid was just too cute!!! "So Vin... why did you want to stow away on the Juice? If you have somewhere you want to go I'm sure you could get a ride there from someone, barter passage and all. ...But you even said you didn't care where it was going... so what's up?"

"Mmph!"
Mouth full of ice cream, Vin looked over at Ykan to give him his meanest glare, but quickly reeled back in shock instead. It was that too-big smile and those stupid rabbit ears again... Did he make them appear randomly just to screw with him?
Swallowing, Vin was prepared to tell the spirit creep to mind his own stupid business, but paused. It wouldn't hurt to tell him the truth. Or the partial truth.
"Tch. I just like getting free travel to different places."

Ykan did not buy that simple answer but he didn't press the issue either. "Well maybe I can talk the captain into taking you with us for a bit. If you want..." Man this little Vin was adorable, and he obviously was alone and needed help... even though he seemed too stubborn and proud to admit it. Well maybe he could soften the kid up a bit.
Without any notice he transformed into a fuzzy little hamster again and scurried over to his new friend, running up the boy's arm and licking ice cream off his cute little cheek before nuzzling him and making cute hamster sounds.

Taking him with them...? Vin looked down angrily into his half-eaten ice cream. It'd be nice to actually have a normal place to sleep, and, admittedly he did get just a little lonely sometimes. But this ship probably had rules. Stupid, annoying rules. Back at home, everything he asked for was handed to him on a silver platter, but he was never allowed to do anything, hardly able to even walk outside because of rules.
Scrunching his face into an expression that could either be sad or angry, he didn't notice Ykan change until he was licking his cheek. Jumping slightly, Vin picked up the hamster, glaring at him. He had more pressing matters to deal with that even a cute ball of fluff couldn't take his mind off of; before saying if he wanted to stay or not, he had some things to ask the spirit.
Setting him down on the counter, Vin asked, "...why're you being so nice to me?" His face made another unreadable expression. "I tried to stowaway on your barfy ship, you know."

Awwww this poor kid... he needed some love and adventure for sure. Ykan wiped his little hamster face with his paws. "Well... cause I like kids." He was a fairly honest ephebophile at this point in his long existence. With a soft sigh he changed back into his normal form, sitting on the counter near Vin. The hamster form had done nothing to lift the kid's spirits so it was silly to be saying this stuff in such a tiny furry form.
"I think youth is beautiful... you have so much ahead of you... such spirit and liveliness. I love teenagers. You want me to be honest?" He said seriously, looking deep into those beautiful blue-grey eyes. "You're my type."

Type... His type?! Vin stopped moving completely and just stared, his face blank. There have been weirdos that made him uncomfortable. Because of them, normally, he would've probably said some very rude things and ran off (with or without stabbing someone first) had anyone else said something like that to him. But this guy, Ykan, seemed so serious. Vin wasn't sure how to react; in all honesty, he was a fairly pure boy. He never before thought of anything like love and romance, not even sex really, and the abruptness of it being bought up confused him, though made his heart speed up slightly.
His eyes simply slid away from Ykan's, the only part of his body that moved. "So you're a..." He struggled to remember the word. "A p...pedophile? Geez, is that the only reason I'm here, so that you could creep on me?" His nose wrinkled slightly. "Well that explains everything."

"I'm an ephebophile if you want to give it a name... I like teens, my preferences tend toward those between the ages of 14 and 19. Pedophiles like little kids who haven't even hit puberty." He brushed a strand of hair behind his ear and looked at Vin again admiringly but not creepily. "But make no mistake, I have never, ever forced myself on a teen. In fact, they have to approach me, with sincere desire for me to even touch them with any sort of intent." He looked away not wanting to make the boy uncomfortable.
"I like kids... and I want to make them happy. I want to make you happy... even just for a little while... I told you I wanted to see you smile."

"Freaking creepy spirit bunny...thing."
Vin fiddled with his spoon, forgetting all about the now-melted ice cream. No one had ever said they wanted to make him happy or see him smile. It made him feel....something. Argh, what the heck?! They only just met, but... What was it about this guy that made him so confused?! He threw the spoon down on the counter, extremely peeved that he couldn't understand what was going on, but dammit, he was determined to find out.
Vin screwed up his face in anger, suddenly yelling. "Take me with you!!"

Man, little Vin was cute when he was confused and conflicted... fiddling with the spoon, his face scrunching up, throwing the spoon down like that. Ykan was probably one of very few people that thought tantrums were nothing short of adorable.
The blue haired male chuckled a bit and smiled at the angry faced little darling. "Well, I will have to ask the captain..." He said picking up the spoon and forgotten ice cream bowl. "Are you still hungry Vin?"

He folded his arms, glaring at the counter. Not getting an immediate yes to his request only made him madder.
When asked if he was hungry, Vin simply said, "No."

"Awww come now cutie... I'm good friends with the captain of this ship. I'll convince him." He reached out to ruffle the kid's fluffy hair before cleaning up the dishes. "...you are prepared for what it would mean though aren't you? Being part of a crew... helping out... partaking in some interesting adventures." He grinned a bit wondering what the boy was thinking... knowing that the little dear thought the vessel nothing more than a basic cargo ship or transporter with an odd paint job.

Vin blushed slightly at the cutie comment and looked down when Ykan ruffled his hair. Why was he feeling like this all of a sudden? It's annoying!
"I don't care," he mumbled. He was a bit surprised to learn that it wasn't a cargo ship, but thinking about the wacky paint job now, it seems pretty obvious. "So what, are you guys pirates or something?"

Ykan cracked up laughing at the boy's comment. Smart little kid. "Pirates? If I was a pirate don't you think I would have done some raping and pillaging by now?" Ykan grinned. He couldn't tell the kid they were pirates... not yet anyway.

Vin huffed as Ykan dodged around the question. Being a thief himself for a while, he felt he could almost always pick up subtle hints about criminal activity when others were talking. Though, he wasn't always right, and besides, it'd be pretty dumb to tell someone you just met that you do illegal things.
"Hmph, good point. You don't even have an eye patch or anything." He shrugged. "Pirates are supposed to be really manly looking anyways."

"Awwww do you want me to look more burly and manly? Would that make you happy? Or do you like girls with big boobs? Tell me what you want~" He was smiling brightly now, teasing cuties was so much fun. He leaned over the counter staring up at the younger male, his mulberry eyes shining mischievously.

"Guh...?! N-no! S-shut up, I was just sayin' what pirates should look like!"
He turned away from the spirit quickly, going red. Truth be told, he didn't know what his type was when it came to people. There was no way he was going to say that out loud, though. He didn't want the shape-shifter to help him find out.

"Awww so you like me just the way I am? That's so sweet~!" Ykan reached out to ruffle Vin's fluffy hair playfully. "I bet the captain is still out for the night, but I can ask him about you coming along in the morning. You are welcome to stay here Vin."

Gritting his teeth, he patted down his hair. Stupid spirit thing... It's like he thinks his life's goal is to try to embarrass and annoy the crap out of Vin.
Still turned away, he grumbled, "Fine. Where do I sleep?"

"You can sleep in my room~" The spirit smiled and his rabbit ears perked up a bit. "...I can sleep else where for the night if you'd like." He didn't want to make the boy uncomfortable, and maybe if he crawled into Ari's bed for the night he could better convince the captain to let Vin travel with them for a while.

Vin felt his ears go red. He probably should've expected an answer like that. It didn't bother him all that much, though. He hadn't slept on a bed proper in a long while, and he didn't really care who or what was in it with him, just as long as he could get a good night's rest.
"Hmph. Do whatever you want."

"I'd rather do whatever you want~" He smiled and cooed. The boy looked absolutely lovely blushing like that. It took a lot of restraint to keep from hugging and kissing the breath right out of Vin's lungs.

"Argh!" Vin threw up his hands, giving up his aloof attitude. He would never get used to this. "Just... I'm going to bed! Show me where I sleep!"

"Alright kiddo, I'll show you." Ykan's big goofy grin softened to a sincere soft smile as he lead the boy out of the kitchen and through the ship till they reached Ykan's small but cozy room. It was fairly plain, just basic furniture and what not. Well except for the stuffed animals that filled his bed and most flat surfaces in the room. "Here we are~"

"..."
He nearly turned around and walked away. Stuffed animals? Really? One is bad enough, but this is insane. Vin was getting more and more convinced that the spirit weirdo was actually a disturbed 6-year-old girl who somehow got the power to shape shift and was pretending to be a man.
"....you’re so goddamn creepy."

"Awww don't say that..." Ykan whined making a cute frowny face as he went about moving most of the stuffed animals off the bed so Vin could lay down. "I just think they're cute~" He smiled again and pulled back the covers so the cutie could get in. "Do you need pjs to sleep in?"

"Tch." Vin rolled his eyes, looking away from the stuffed animals. He acted like he was just annoyed at a grown man having so many toys meant for little kids, but in all honesty, stuffed animals kind of unnerved him. The way they just sat there, smiling... Ugh.
"No. I don't sleep in pajamas."

"You sleep in the nude~?" He smiled brightly at the boy. No no no no no... don't picture it don't picture it... bad Ykan! Bad!

Vin choked. "N-NO!" Of course the creep would think something like that! "I-I leave my underwear on!"
...thinking about it, that really wasn't much better.

"Boxers or briefs? Or cute lacy panties with little bows on it?" Ykan teased grinning even more before walking to the door. "You can make yourself at home kiddo. The bathroom is just down the hall to the right. Get some sleep ok?"

Blushing, Vin took off his backpack and tossed it down next to the bed (a suspicious sounding clinking noise coming from inside it as he did so), busying himself with something as an excuse to not look at the spirit.
"Yeah, like I'd get any sleep with a perv like you sneaking around!" Actually, if anything were to make him lose sleep, it would be because of the damn stuffed animals. "Get out so that I can go to bed!"

"Hey, I'm crew on this ship... I have the luxury of not sneaking around... I come and go as I please kiddo. Which reminds me... I should go talk to the captain so you don't get in trouble for being here... And so I don't either." He grinned sheepishly before opening the door. "Sweet dreams~" The silly rabbit cooed before exiting the room.

Grumbling angrily to himself, Vin quickly closed the door and stripped down to his boxers. Not caring much about his clothes, he simply tossed them on top of his backpack, hesitating before he got into bed. Ugh... The place where the creep sleeps. Who knows what's wrong with it?
A nervous glance around at the various stuffed animals convinced him to hurriedly crawl into the bed. It definitely wouldn't be the worse thing he's ever slept in. With his head safely under the covers and away from the creepy stares of the dolls, Vin finally relaxed and sniffed tentatively the the sheets. He was surprised to find out that they actually smelled...nice. Already feeling himself drift off, he closed his eyes and wrapped the bed sheets tightly around himself. In almost no time, he fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning when he woke up, Vin’s eyes snapped open as he jerked his body into an upright position, prepared for anything weird he might see. All he got was an eyeful of sheets. Momentarily forgetting that he fell asleep under the covers, Vin flailed around, trying to pull them away. After a few seconds of struggling, he finally managed to throw the sheets off his head and looked around the room. It seemed the same as it did last night. Simple, with freaky stuffed animals all over the place.
Rolling his eyes, Vin plunked back down on the bed and stared up at the ceiling, trying to avoid the gaze of the stuffed toys. This is how it was every morning; if nothing woke him up in the middle of the night, then he would force himself to jerk awake around four or five o’clock in the morning, look around for any danger, and leave as fast as he could. More than once before he had awoken to unpleasant surprises, so he trained himself to get up at even the smallest noises and live off the least amount of sleep he could without feeling like a zombie. However, today was...different. He didn’t seem to be in any danger...and he was in an actual bed. There was no reason to pack up and leave, no rush. It felt nice.
After several minutes of doing absolutely nothing, he started getting hungry. Finally sitting up, Vin yawned greatly and ran his fingers through his messy bed head hair, mussing it up even more. Not bothering to put on his clothes, he walked toward the door, opening it quietly. He figured it had to be at least four in the morning, maybe; no way would any sane person be up by then. Luckily, he vaguely remembered the way to the kitchen. Quickly walking down the halls of the ship, Vin reached the kitchen in record time and dashed in, ready to raid the fridge.

Ykan had been up all night. Or rather, kept up all night by Ari and the System. The pleasant ache in the lower half of his body was proof of that, well that and the love bites on his body. He could have just slept next to Ari, he had in the past, but when he did well... it made him feel... special. That was something he had to keep straight. Ari was his friend... his best friend. Just because they fucked like rabbits didn't mean they were lovers, and Ykan could not afford to get his hopes up about that.
He had been setting up stuff for breakfast when the cute little bed-headed boy came dashing in. Ykan forced himself to walk as normally as possible in front of Vin. "My my... some one is up early, are you hungry kiddo?" He said with a big smile.

Vin froze in place, suddenly feeling very...exposed. It was bad enough that he got caught running into the kitchen like some hungry maniac, but it just had to be by...this guy. And while he was in his boxers, too. Great.
Realizing how shocked he must have looked, Vin quickly straightened up and looked away. He glared at nothing in particular while folding his arms over his chest, trying to look nonchalant.
"S-shouldn’t you still be asleep or something?"

Ykan couldn't help but notice those cute boxers, and at that his ears popped up again. He often laughed about how hard it was to control those damn things from appearing when cute kids were around... or even just around Ari sometimes. Truth was when he thought about his ears, and actually cared if they popped up it was easy to control. In all the time he spent on the Arbitrary Angel they never popped up in public, but the Sassy Juice was so much more relaxed and it wasn't like it mattered here.
Damn, Vin was just the cutest little thing wasn't he~?
"Asleep? Well... let's see there was this cutie in my bed so I had to wander else where in search of a place to rest, but that didn't go so well... so after hours of being unable to sleep I found myself here. But the view is rather adorable at the moment so no worries~" He grinned happily at the boy, sort of hoping that story would hold up despite lack of crucial detail and that the fact that he was walking fun and wearing the same clothes as earlier (albeit more wrinkled than before) wouldn't tip the kid off.
Were any love bites visible or did the color of his jacket and his pants cover them all? He certainly hoped they did...
"Shouldn't you still be asleep sweetie? Or did you wake up and miss me?" He teased playfully. "You want me to make you something to eat?"

Turning his head in order to direct his glare at Ykan, ‘cause there was no way he was buying that excuse, Vin was once again shocked into silence by those damn rabbit ears. Sensing a pattern as to when they popped out, he quickly decided to not call the spirit out on his lie and scurried over to the table, sitting down. At least this way, his almost-nakedness was kind of hidden. Besides, he probably really didn’t want to know what the freaky spirit was up to last night anyways.
Regaining his composer, Vin rested his cheek in his hand and wrinkled his nose in disgust.
"Ugh. I always wake up at this time, you creep." He paused. "Waffles."

Ykan pouted a bit, his ears falling against his head. "No need to be so crass little meanie-no-pants~" He said softly before pulling out some stuff to get started on the waffle making. "So why do you wake up so early cutie?"
He looked over his shoulder at the teen. He had till dinner to find out about this kid's family... well, that was already seeming like a difficult task.

Vin rolled his eyes and looked off, scrunching down into his seat more. Trying to think of the best way to answer Ykan without really giving him an answer, he shrugged.
"...’cause I don’t like sleeping."

Ykan stopped his hands from grabbing the flour. If he made this kid fresh waffles, at this time of the morning, when there were perfectly good frozen ones that he had made not too long ago... well Ari would probably get mad. Already he had griped about the 'extra mouth to feed'. It wasn't as if Ykan didn't get it... It was just that Vin was so cute.
"Don't like sleeping? ...Do you have bad dreams or something?"
He moved to grab the waffles from the freezer and just put them in the toaster instead. "..You're too old for nightmares aren't you?"
Age of course, had nothing to do with it.

Glancing back over, he watched as Ykan put some waffles in the toaster. Fresh or frozen, it didn’t matter to him. Just as long as he got to eat the waffles, he didn’t care what kind they were.
Scoffing, Vin folded his arms.
"Duh. I haven’t had a nightmare since I was eight or something."

Ykan waited till the waffles were done toasting and then put them on a plate and placed it in front of the cutie pie. "Well as long as you are well rested~" He beamed at Vin before putting out butter and syrup. He teasingly held a knife and fork above the kid's head.

"Meh. I got used to not getting a lot of sleep."
Tucking one of his legs under himself in order to better reach his waffles, Vin grabbed the plate, pulling it closer. He looked up at the utensils Ykan held over his head and gave the spirit a 'what-in-the-hell-do-I-need-to-use-those-for?' look. Instead, he took the butter and smeared it over the waffles, much like how a toddler would use a glue stick on a sheet of paper. He then proceeded to drown them in syrup and began to -- rather quickly -- eat the breakfast food with his hands.

Ykan couldn't help but chuckle when he saw the way the kid was eating. It was actually adorable and made him think of a little hamster which Vin was so fond of anyway. He grinned brightly and put the non-utilized utensils on the counter before propping himself up by his elbows and cradling his head in his own hands, his bunny ears twitching happily.
Man did he want to lick those cute little fingers clean when Vin was done~ Om nom nom!
