Part 1: The Basics1. What is your full name?Tetra Nikodemos Zarovia, after my father, Nikodemos.2. Where and when were you born?I was born in a hospital on Edanith, forty-five years ago.3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)My father, Nikodemos Zarovia, was a doctor before he married my mother, Hyacinth. He was deeply intrigued by the idea of genetic modification, and thus felt alienated from Edanithian society. My mother died when I was young, in childbirth. She had always been a sickly woman, having miscarried three times before I was born. Nevertheless, she loved me and my father with all her heart.4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?I prefer not to talk about it, if it’s all the same to you.5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.I live in the Thanatos Research Institute of Metaphysics, alone. My room is nothing special... I keep my clothes in it, really, and what possessions I have. Mostly joke gifts from my co-workers.6. What is your occupation?I am a geneticist. I am currently in the process of developing a virus that will alter human DNA in order to give the infected human psychic abilities.7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.Height: six feet, five inches; weight: 203 pounds, or something; race: lucidius; hair color: light blond; eye color: dark brown. If I were a test subject, that would be all you needed to know... however, when I’m not wearing a lab coat, I do prefer layered outfits. I’ve heard I have no fashion sense, but I’m not one to concern myself with what other people think I should be wearing.8. To which social class do you belong?Technically, I’m effectively ostracized from Edanithian society. However, at TRIM I’m a senior geneticist, and one of the better-respected staff members.9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?I hate cold weather. Cold weather is altogether unpleasant... also I have rather weak ankles, but don’t go telling the subjects that.10. Are you right- or left-handed?Right-handed, though I can use both effectively in a fight.11. What does your voice sound like?Threatening, I should hope. A low voice, but civilized.12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?I tend to say “yes” too often, to certain people. “Hold still” is another of my favorites.13. What do you have in your pockets?Office key, dormitory key, antiseptic solution... why haven’t I labeled this vial yet?14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?I tend not to sleep. I’m also carnivorous, which really shouldn’t elicit as much of a reaction as it does. Oh, yes, and I can manipulate heat. That’s nice to have when the new interns come in.Part 2: Growing Up15. How would you describe your childhood in general?...Interesting. It was great fun, being the child of the least-respected man on the planet.16. What is your earliest memory?Walking through the marketplace with my mother.17. How much schooling have you had?I studied genetics (such as I could) and molecular biology through six years of college. Apparently, that’s enough to be able to cut people open.18. Did you enjoy school?College? More so than previous years.19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?I learned quite a lot from my father, and his books on genetics.20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.My father was my role model, until I left Edanith. Everyone else seemed to fear genetic modification, but my father understood it opened up a world of possibilities for less-fortunate people like my mother... he was always a courteous person, even when he knew no one liked him.21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?I loved my family, and still do, not only because they seemed to be the only people around who looked like me...22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?As a small child, I wanted to be the captain of a space vessel. In later childhood, I wanted to be a chef. Then I decided science was much more interesting.23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?I loved to play outside, as a child, and to watch the stars.24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?I was nice until I started school. Then I was somewhat of a bully... having pointy teeth and sharp claws does virtually nothing for one’s charisma.25. As a child, were you popular?Would you have been, if you looked like me? None of the children’s parents approved of me either, being the spawn of the crazy Dr. Nikodemos Zarovia.26. When and with whom was your first kiss?I was something like fifteen years old, and she was a quite scary-looking human female, a year or two older than me, with an affinity for constrictive clothing and heavy makeup. We dated for a few months, but I had to break it off due to biological unfeasibility.27. Are you a virgin?Who are you, then? I won’t dignify that with a response.28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.Well, as is common of children, I sort of figured everyone had claws, pointed teeth, and command over heat until I started school, wherein I learned it apparently wasn’t normal for little boys to catch fire when they got angry.Part 3: Past Influences29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?Probably going to TRIM as a young adult.30. Who has had the most influence on you?My father... as I’ve said before...31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?Being respected among my co-workers, and not just out of fear. I mean, fear is always a good thing to have, but it’s nice to be recognized for my work.32. What is your greatest regret? Not growing up in a place with more of my species... in retrospect, maybe I wouldn’t have grown up to be a mad scientist.33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?*proud grin* That’s a matter of degrees, but there are two instances which stand out in my mind. The first involved a certain test subject whom I had quite grown to hate... it should be noted that not all the viruses I create need have severe symptoms. However, this subject was quite out of line... I deliberately targeted a few genes which were not included in the writeup of the experiment... he nearly died from the sheer pain it caused him. Nearly died, but did not. The second was a subject with quite an awful reputation... an ex-pilot candidate from Aedolis. I didn’t want any trouble from her, so I set fire to the floor tiles of her cell as I first walked in, and other things in that vein. I can look fairly terrifying when I’m on fire, apparently, and nearly scared her out of her wits. She was a very docile subject from then on...34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind? For the record, I probably should. However, I do not; one of the benefits of working for TRIM.35. When was the time you were the most frightened?Definitely during my time as an intern at TRIM... I was exposed to things the likes of which mortal eyes should never see. Certainly, I am not the same person now as I was then.36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?Well, in those early intern years I was asked to serve coffee to the corporate heads at a meeting... turns out I had made it about ninety-three degrees too hot. I always drink my coffee at that temperature, so... at least I got the benefit of the doubt. I never did get a chance to redeem myself.37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?Again, I would rather have lived in a more diverse environment as a child...38. What is your best memory?Intern orientation meetings are always fun. I get people from all over TRIM giving me ideas for what to do during my speech. I would have said something touching from my childhood, but... my childhood was not that great.39. What is your worst memory?Fourth grade. Wait, no, I meant internship, watching psychics be forced to telekinetically turn their own intestines inside out... ¬///¬Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?Considering very few of my experiments have actually gotten anywhere in my twenty-two years of work? Pessimistic.41. What is your greatest fear?Death.42. What are your religious views?I am quite godless, thanks to my place of employment.43. What are your political views?I really couldn’t care less about politics. I work, I torture, I get paid for it. I rarely leave TRIM.44. What are your views on sex? It’s not my main preoccupation. I have different tastes from most people.45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?Oh, I am quite able to kill. It’s a pain when it happens, though, because it usually means I’m out a subject. Myself, I prefer only to kill humanoids, as we seem to be the ones most worth killing...46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?The destruction of a planet is a most grievous crime. A man can defend himself, but a planet cannot. Also, planets only ever seem to be destroyed in the name of greed.47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?... Presently, I have no reason to.48. What do you believe makes a successful life?I believe, to be successful in life, one must devote his life to what he believes in.49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? What is my true self? I prefer that others know how I feel about them, none of that being nice to their faces, but not behind their backs. One of my dearest friends is a psychic, and she would tell you that the thoughts I do hide are merely out of courtesy.50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?Should I list them? Let’s just say I consider you a waste of resources until you give me a reason not to.51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?I refuse to support any government that values revenue over the safety of the environment. It’s just twisted.52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?I already have... but again, I prefer not to talk about it.Part 5: Relationships With Others53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?Humanoid organisms tend to use more than they are worth. However, if I do get to know them, and like them, I treat them better than I would otherwise.54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?My parents are dead, but there is one other who is not, and it is for that reason that that person is dearest to me.55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?I have a great deal of respct for the president of Thanatos, Inc. It take patience to run a place like this. Patience, or utter mental instability.56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. My co-workers are my friends, mostly. Especially Doctor Imajica. She is... an intriguing woman, with her own ideas about everything, and has quite a way with physical torture.57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.No.58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.Well, no, not as such. The closest I got was with that human girl when I was young.59. What do you look for in a potential lover?I would prefer that she be the same species... or he, as the case may be... and that she not be flighty and careless with relationships.60. How close are you to your family? My mortal coil separates me from most of my relations.61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?I have no family of my own, mainly because I am of a rare breed, apparently. I would like to raise a child someday, but he need not be my own.62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?If it were myself who was in danger, I would turn to Mae. If it were not... I really don’t know.63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?I would like to think I did not need the protection of others. Again, however, if I were in mortal danger, I would go to Mae.64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?Mae, and a few of my weirder subjects... and someone else.65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why? That varies regularly, depending on who the worst-behaved subject (or intern) is.66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?I am a pacifist by nature, but when I must confront someone, I come out on top.67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?I don’t tend to trust others with such roles. If there is someone else trustworthy, I prefer to work in the shadows.68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?No. People are generally irritating.69. Do you care what others think of you?In most cases, no. What I think of them is more important, from a purely medical standpoint.Part 6: Likes And Dislikes70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?I love my job. I’m like a virus myself, in my singleminded work ethic...71. What is your most treasured possession? My mind. Unless you meant a tangible item, in which case I have a wonderful tungsten nail file that I purchased on a trip to Aedolis. It comes in quite handy, for me.72. What is your favorite color?Red, and bright white.73. What is your favorite food?Food is a necessity, really. I like spicy foods best, though.74. What, if anything, do you like to read?If I haven’t read the latest writeups on genetic experiments from the rest of the genetics department, I have failed in my duties... I also like a good horror novel, or a psychological thriller.75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?I’ve never really thought about it. I do read... that’s pretty much it, though. I’d travel, but there isn’t anywhere.76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit? No, it puts an unneeded strain on the body.77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?Working. Failing that, terrorizing the interns, or sleeping.78. What makes you laugh? My own mistakes, mostly. That’s quite rare.79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?I don’t think there’s anything out there. Try me.80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?I would work on something, or tromp around Wing Alpha with Mae and unnerve the subjects. I don’t have insomnia, however... if anything, I have trouble staying awake.81. How do you deal with stress?I go to the cause of it, and cut it open or infect it with something.82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?Spontaneous? No, that really doesn’t describe me at all...83. What are your pet peeves?Other people, blind dates, and being woken up.Part 7: Self Images And Etc.84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?I wake up whenever I wake up. I eat, then I go check on my current experiments. Then I work, then I eat again, then I work some more. Then I go check on the subjects again, then finish my work, then eat dinner and go to sleep. Sometimes those last two don’t happen. When it’s disrupted, I either get quite mad or I’m thankful for a break in the monotony. Usually that first one.85. What is your greatest strength as a person? My constitution.86. What is your greatest weakness? The fact that I’m naturally scary-looking.87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?I’d say I want to look more normal, but claws are useful.88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?Introverted, very.89. Are you generally organized or messy?I’d like to be organized, but it never works out that way.90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.I’m good at working, commanding respect, and cooking. I’m bad at dealing with people, thinking of “fun” things to do, and staying awake.91. Do you like yourself?... I have no arguments with myself.92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)I am a scientist because genetics is my passion. I really do love to mess around with DNA.93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?I want to discover the gene sequence that enables psychic ability.94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?... Still here, running tests.95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?I can, and I don’t plan on it.96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.I would have Mae turn me, and quickly. Then I would spend the rest of that day working, probably. Because, you know, I’d still be undead the next day. I have this all planned out.97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?Would you stop asking me about death? It makes me rather uneasy. Like you have a hitman after me.98. What three words best describe your personality?Indifferent, hostile, monotonous...99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?Weird, completely unattractive.100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)Tetra... please, get laid. It would do you good, and then you can stop agonizing about un-dying a virgin.

You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.Uh, I’m short, and have red hair. No, not red red... dark red. Almost brown. I’m a cyborg! My right leg is metal, and my left arm, and my right eye. Both my eyes are blue, but the cybernetic one is brighter. I like to wear bright colors, ‘cause everything’s so dull down here. Oh, I’m human, too, mostly. Except the metal parts; those are metal.8. To which social class do you belong?Social class? I dunno. I have a job, sort of, so that’s okay. Most people I know like me.9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?I’m not such a great fighter. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.Um, they told me I was in a spaceship crash, and lost my arm and leg and eye and some other stuff, but they fixed me and gave me metal parts, so I’m alright.Part 3: Past Influences29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?One time, I found an old engine on the surface! It took forever to get it underground, and a dog thing nearly bit my arm off!
