History Born and raised on Trenope as well, and grew up with his sister Plerona. Orion also has a desire to travel the cosmos for both the pursuit of knowledge and the exploration of many lands, peoples and their ways. Orion and Plerona often travel together, but not always. The community in which he grew up in like all the different scattered communities across the planet is constructed primarily of glass panels and Pleiadian Star Metal, with a few other materials added in here and there. He also began his travels when he reached adulthood and has been traveling for longer than his sister has, being as he is ten years older than Plerona.

Race/Species Information
Trenopians are one of the many species of Pleiadians, those that live in the Pleiades. Their general appearance is that of tall, thin and gangly humanoids with blue skin. Hair for males is always orange, while females have purple hair. They possess three eyes, their third eye being located in the area just above the normal two eyes towards the bottom of the forehead. However, instead of this third eye being horizontal like the other two are, it is placed vertically and is also slightly larger than the main two eyes. Eye color (for the main two eyes) is either gold, silver or purple. The color of the third eye is entirely dependent upon the individual's personal spiritual frame of mind and as a result it can change color throughout their lifetime. Height for both genders is around 6'5” to 7'7”, with males normally being slightly taller than the females.  Trenopians favor comfortable, flowing garments in all sorts of colors.

Average lifetime for a Trenopian is 900 years, though some can exceed that to 975 years but this is uncommon and does not often occur. Once a Trenopian reaches the age of 800, they are considered an Elder and are highly respected in their various communities. An individual is considered an adult by the age of 40.

The population of Trenope is divided into communities, with each community being further divided into groups of three, sometimes four. Individual groups don't normally exceed past a certain amount, usually no more than 250, with communities as a whole averaging about 750-1000 citizens. The overall population of Trenope is about five billion.

As a whole, Trenopians are a peaceful, highly spiritually evolved people and view all others of their kind in equal regards so there is no such thing as a caste system or hierarchy of power, no royalty or nobility, commoners, servants, slaves or the like. However the Elders are usually looked up to for their great wisdom and life experiences and have been known to guide and advise their people on countless occasions. They are at their very core, a people of peace and acceptance, of tolerance and compassion. Intolerance is viewed as distasteful and appalling, whereas violence can get one exiled to the far-off prison planet of Bogatron, located beyond the Pleiades star system. This planet is well-known for being a hostile place, with a harsh environment consisting of vast wastelands, vicious predators and carnivorous plants. There are very few resources available and survival is extremely difficult there. Basically, if one were to be exiled there they are essentially being sent off to their deaths. Violence is not acceptable among their people and they strive to keep this in check, although it is a rarity that such ever happens. The percentage of exiles has only been about 1% in their entire collective history so it doesn't happen often.

For the most part, those on Trenope are a peaceful and loving people who value honesty, trustworthiness, peace, harmony, compassion, tolerance, acceptance, creativity, freedom, individuality and self-expression, as well as intelligence, knowledge and wisdom. They are also a highly psionic people, with every one of them possessing some kind of psionic gift in varying degrees. Magic on the other hand, is virtually unheard of here.

Their spiritual views are largely based on self-realization and recognizing the sacred all around them, and not any particular deities or spirits. Overall, they have a universal kind of world-view with no branches or churches to dictate what they believe in. It is very much a personalized and individual practice. No two Trenopians will ever have the same set of beliefs.

Their language is Rastiika, a soft sounding language where the words are represented in pictorial format in a sort of calligraphic script. All Trenopians are literate in both reading and writing their language and they have many books on many subjects in vast libraries on Trenope. They also can speak many languages found throughout the universe, including the common tongue of humans. After all, knowledge and communication is important to their people.

Trenopians are strong allies with the Hatuni, an alien race that live nearby the dog star Sirius, on the planet of Hatune. Their alliance has lasted for many generations.

With certain advances in their technology, Trenopians are able to build small space shuttles for individual or small group travel to various planets and star systems. These shuttles are powered by a super-fuel that has been significantly enhanced by their Hatuni allies. This substance is called Plasmium and with it Trenopians can travel very far distances in an extremely fast time period. These space shuttles are designed with two different travel speeds, that of Light Speed and the other being Regular Speed. Obviously, Light Speed can travel at the speed at light for instantaneous travel nearly anywhere, whereas Regular Speed while slower, still offers a very quick travel time able to travel to places in less than half the time it would normally take to get somewhere. The shuttles are made of Pleiadian Star Metal, a strong black metal that is in plentiful supply on their home planet. These vessels are also equipped with a tough energetic shield that is only used in cases of possible attacks on them. The shield, while being extremely hardy and strong, able to withstand much, is by no means invincible either. So far, there has been little need to utilize it as any attacks sent their way have been few and far between. As Trenopians do not condone violence, their mode of 'attack' is to simply flee using Light Speed, rendering the enemy hard pressed to follow to catch up with them.

Other forms of technology include various control panels and viewing panels, the latter of which is used to watch and record certain historical events on many planets and space stations. The devices are installed with psionic orbs that allow them to access a plethora of information that would not normally be available to their people otherwise. One of the most crucial reasons for these viewing panels is to keep tabs on any foe that would cause harm to their people or the planet in general. The Trenopians also maintain their watch to help out the Hatuni as well from any such invasions and possible attacks that the Hatuni may suffer or may not be fully aware of. The reach of these devices is pretty far but they do have their limits, as the further they try to access information the system will start to fail or refuse to work altogether. The Trenopians rely on using their psionics to power a lot of their technology, making it more efficient and more reliable than it would be without it.

More Trenopian Species Information

Sleeping & Eating:

Three things that differ about Trenopian sleep cycles from that of humans. One, is that they only need five hours of uninterrupted sleep. Two, they rarely dream and when they do, they experience something more akin to lucid dreaming instead. The third and last thing is that they sleep standing upright. Trenopians sleep with their eyes closed just like humans do and everything else about their sleeping patterns seems to be the same.

Trenopians eat a mainly herbivorous diet, consisting of various edible plants with many fruits and vegetables. They harvest the stems and leaves from plants and sometimes the flowers as well to make into various foods and medicines. Only on special occasions such as feast days or other holy days do they eat meat as they are in fact taking a life and as such respect this. Any other time they eat the normal diet. Grains are also sometimes consumed by crushing and grinding the seeds from different plants to form a powder that is then used to make certain kinds of breads and other starches. For drinking, they ingest water as well as a specially prepared type of water that is psionically charged and is often used to heal trauma and to help cure sickness as well as being a generic energy boost for their species. At many celebrations and gatherings they will also drink honeyed wine, but only at these times.

Celebrations:

Births: Every Trenopian birth is a special occasion meant to be celebrated. While subsequent birthdays following the initial birth are not necessarily celebrated, they are taken note of and acknowledged. The community will gather at this time to welcome the newborn into the world with open arms. White is the color used for this celebration, as it is the color of innocence and purity, that of a clean state and a new beginning.

Deaths: Trenopian deaths are more a somber affair but are no less important to celebrate. That is if it is due to natural causes and not an untimely end. Gatherings commence to celebrate the deceased's life, the colors used are black and purple, to symbolize endings and spiritual transitions.

Unions: Marriages are always celebrated among the Trenopian populace as two souls are joined in harmony with not only themselves but the universe. The following celebration takes place in two parts. The formal union among family and friends includes a special candle being lit to represent good tidings and happiness for the future couple, while the second is between the couple themselves only as they join together in body, mind and soul. The colors for this are white, red and gold to represent new beginnings, love and spiritual understanding of one another respectively.

Honoring Life and the Universe: Once a year Trenopians gather to celebrate the joy of life in general, and to honor the universe as a whole. Music and dance commences, with much feasting to be had. The main color used here is red to represent life.

Personal Spiritual Holy Days: This last one is more an informal occasion and normally done by each individual on their own for the entire day that they set aside for this. It can be done as often as the Trenopian wishes to honor and celebrate their own personal path in life that they have chosen for themselves. Colors for this of course vary greatly. It is not required to have this special day but it does grant the Trenopian who celebrates it more perspective on their life journey.

Views On Marriage, Love and Sex:

Regarding the above, Trenopians are more on the conservative side of things and as such normally save the latter for marriage or those serious relationships that will undoubtedly lead to marriage. While they can have multiple partners they get involved with as they try to find the one for them, they don't take it any further than hand-holding or kissing in the early to mid-stages. It is more about seeking that special understanding between couples and to get to know that individual on a deeply personal as well as a spiritual basis. While divorce occasionally happens, it is a rare thing and occurs because the two Trenopians simply decided it wouldn't work out after all with no hard feelings between the two. A Trenopian's heart always has room for love and they are encouraged to fully develop this as much as possible, whether that be through friendships, family, spouses, partners and in general all people, both Trenopian and non-Trenopian alike. While marriage is not required or expected of them, they are however expected to only marry other Trenopians. While it could be possible for one to fall in love with a non-Trenopian, it is nigh unheard of and for some reason or other wouldn't usually work out. It would not be looked down upon if it did, as tolerance is a very important ideal for their people but so far there hasn't really been a case of this ever happening. Trenopians are more apt to find total understanding with their own kind and as such form heavier bonds with each other as a result.

Music:

Trenopian music encompasses mainly instrumentals and vocals, the latter which can include actual words but the main point of it all is to provide a deep spiritual bliss and contentment through the art of music and song. There are no harsh melodies or crude renderings of musical performance, as it is meant to be a journey of the mind and soul to take one to new heights. Overall, it is very peaceful sounding and to outsiders it would give them just a tiny glimpse into the mindset of a Trenopian and their society in general.

Psionics:

Trenopians' psionic abilities can cover the whole range of such powers, but is mainly used for everyday purposes and to help others as well as for self-defense. In the case of those with more offensive capabilities, some of these Trenopians are often looked to as protectors for their people from various wild predators in the lands outside their communities and from hostile forces themselves outside their planetary home. They can have anywhere from one to four psionic gifts and the power level for each can vary from minor, to moderate, to major. Normally, a single power will often be of the major power range and in the case of two or more the power levels tend to lessen with each additional gift, but not always. For example, a Trenopian could have three powers with the first one being major, the second one moderate and the third only a minor gift. But any combination stated above is possible in terms of actual number or strength of the ability. A Trenopian might even be born with four really strong powers or they could only have a single minor ability. All Trenopians have some kind of psionic gift no matter what as it is inherent to their very nature as a species. In terms of familial relations, powers may or may not reflect what the parents themselves possess. Even if spanning several generations, a certain power is not there any of them could show up at any time with the birth of a Trenopian child in any following generation of their descendents' lines.
