Uncertainty is the only certainty that most people have with Nile, and that's the way he likes it;  Even his name, which may or may not be his by birth, is unclear as to if it is intended to be a first or last as it is the only name he gives.  If asked where he's from, he claims the small hangar that he rents aboard the Cancer is his hometown and that the mechanical curiosity that he calls 'The Big Guy' is his family.  Professionally, he is a scavenger who views the aftermath of a battle as a goldmine, frequently buying passage to regions that have seen combat.. Particularly mecha combat.  Politically, he is particularly critical of Aedolis and its people.

An average-sized human man appearing to be nearing his 30's, his figure has strength and musculature but he doesn't have a great deal of thickness to him.  His brown hair is straight and messy, kept haphazard and occasionally straying into his eyes with a maximum length extending not quite to his shoulders.  His most striking feature is that parts of him appear to be mechanical-- His legs and lower back most notably.  This is a utility unit that allows him fluid motion;  Though he can remove it, he is greatly impaired without it.  He often wears a set of glove/bracers that share a similar appearance, but these are merely made to prevent being cut by sharp edges on scrap metal.  This leg module and his mech are his life to him, and he possesses very little else. (A brief explanation of his gear is below.)

Personality:  ..You'll have to find out for yourself! ^^

[Equipment]:

HULC-FP-406  – Although the somewhat bulky unit makes it look as if he has artificial legs, his 'real' legs are in fact inside.  It is controlled by the same nerve impulses from his brain that would move his natural legs.  The unit greatly increases strength and carrying capacity, and even has a couple of storage compartments on the thighs.  Although Nile can walk without this unit, he requires a cane and has a heavy limp at best.  Unable to afford gene therapy to repair the degenerative condition that causes his mobility issue, he simply built his own solution.  The 'HULC' part of the name is the generic name for powered leg braces, and means 'Human Universal Load Carrier'.  The 'FP' stands for 'Functional Prosthetic', and Nile jokes that the '406' is for the number of times he had to start over again before getting the design right.  It is essentially a partial exoskeleton.

The 'BIG GUY' – A mech built from parts salvaged primarily from battlefields according to a set of very old plans that Nile found online.  Somewhat resembling a humanoid torso with four legs that have wheels instead of feet, it is used for moving and filling a big cargo container with the materials that Nile uses, trades, or sells to make his living.  Though there are military mechs in the world and though he may or may not have interest in black-market plans for their construction, the 'BIG GUY' is purely for labour and is the first mech that Nile ever assembled.  As such, even though it looks clunky, he is very proud of it.
