__________________IN-DEPTH STUFF

Physical Description: A tall, muscular man, chiseled by his time working as a scout in the Teinari wastes.  He keeps his dark hair in a short buzz cut, and his grey eyes are always checking in the shadows, alert for any sign of possible danger.  His most distinguishing feature is the long scar down the right side of his face, across his missing eye.

Personality: No one will ever see Drex in extravagant clothing, as he is the embodiment of practicality.  His decisions are always calculating, and he has the remarkable ability to keep cool and calm in situations that would leave most cowering behind cover.  He's also quite contemplative, and many nights in the wilderness were spent mulling over the world and its workings.  That's not to say that Drex is all work and no play.  While not working, he likes to soak up the cultures of the various areas he visits, especially their sports.  His favorite past time?  Well, it was Motorrail, but now, travelling and seeing new sights are what he enjoys most.  Drex also exhibits a trait that is usually not seen among his profession: loyalty.  If he takes out a contract with someone, he'll stay true to his word and serve for the allotted amount of time.  His main flaw is the fact that he has an incredibly short fuse, and, when angry, may not think things through as much as he should.  He also isn't much of a team player, due to the mind set of his days as a scout, alone in the wastelands.  All in all, Drex is a fast friend, and a difficult opponent.

Magic/Abilities: Nothing extremely special.  He has an incredibly good aim with firearms of most kinds, and incredible hand-eye coordination.  He's quite strong (though not super human of course) and is used to having to rely on his own abilities.

History: As soon as Drex turned 17, he signed up for the Scouting division.  He had known that was what he wanted to be since his childhood.  He loved a good challenge, and what better way to challenge himself and find his limits than by placing himself alone in the wilderness?  For many years that's just how it went.  His time in the wilderness taught him a lot about himself, both how much he could handle physically and emotionally.  There were many nights spent alone in the dark, pondering life.  Alas that part of his life did not last long.  He was found by another scout, his best friend, Steve Marken, no less, with a missing eye and a huge tear down his right side, among other grievous injuries.  When Drex awoke at the hospital, he woke with a scream, and wouldn't stop screaming until the sedatives finally kicked in.  To this day he doesn't remember what happened to him, or what he saw that terrified him so much.  But soon after, he packed his bags, said goodbye to his family and friends, and ran.  He hasn't stopped running since, some primal fear driving him from those dark and lonely wastes he once called home.  To this day, if you look closely enough as he reloads his weapons, you might see his hands still shaking.
