And another round...of Randomness
« on: December 20, 2011, 08:57:53 pm »
"Sir...what the hell." Niki replied.

Standing slightly away from Sekron, their commanding officer, while he looks a map for certain locations.

"Well someone insisted on guarding me." Sekron rebutted.

Niki sighed, putting a hand on her bright pink messy hair. She couldn't figure out this man half the time. Sekron, on the other hand, wonders why she puts up with him. Sekron decided to go to a bar, oddly enough it was in the afternoon.

"Think...ah hell with it." Niki said, watching the commander get a drink for both of them.

OOC: Random bar at a random location. Yep I'm like that hehe

Ross slid the drinks across the counter, going back to polishing the unused and listening to gossip. It was all she really had to do. Since buying the bar life had been rather..boring.

Of course the only people's gossip to listen to this time of day were the two staring at that map. Without seeing the map that wasnt particularly interesting either. So it was either walk over or hope that by some bizarre stroke of luck they called her.

The bar wasn't particularly busy. Though it seems after they went it, a few more people pops around. Seem to be regulars of some sort. Yet Sekron didn't take interest of looking at them. Niki, however, was keeping a watchful eye, without drawing attention.

"More guests. Yay..." Niki said to herself.

Sekron almost made a sweatdrop to Niki's comment, but he was slightly watching the woman polishing glass.

"Ya think it's polished enough?" Sekron asked, trying to keep his mind off a few things.

Ross popped an eyebrow up, setting the glass on the bar. "Well I suppose it could be, but that depends entirely on what your standards are. How about that map? Are you lost?" Of course they probably weren't. People with that air around them never seemed to be.

She slid a glass of something blue to a man with long hair and waited for an answer.

"Ya could say that we are. Reckon you could help?" Sekron asked while looking this woman.

Niki was giving this woman some glares but she kept herself from looking at her. The bar was still not that lively as a few others started to listen on them. Either that or they were drunk off their asses.

Sekron looked around a bit. He never liked bars that much. It was probably all the drunks that happen to come to this place.

Ross shrugged, tossing her rag onto the counter. "That depends entirely on what you're looking for. Come on up to the bar over here, let me take a look. Old long face here can't see anyway." Well this was already much farther than she expected she was going to get.

Sekron looks at the woman. Thought for some reason he couldn't trust her, he definitely would love to have some directions. He gets up close to her, showing her the map. Though for some reason he can sense something was wrong with Niki.

'She really doesn't like her. Oh well I have to get used to it.'

"Well we're looking for a place to crash. Ya'll tourists ya might say."

She rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Well if you needed a place to stay you should have just said so. A friend of mine across the way rents out rooms for the night. Have anything else you need?" If that was really the only thing they were looking for she would eat her sword. They had to be at the very least searchers of some kind. And the pink one was wicked mistrustful. Or maybe Ross simply had something stuck to her face. She wasn't that good at telling those two expressions apart. Wonder what those marked ares were for?

For some reason Sekron was looking at this woman. She seemed awfully unimpressed by him. This might be a good thing as he didn't want them to know who he really was. That would cause an uproar back at Libra.

'Aye seem to made her disappoint. Well that is a plus on my side.'

But before he could try going to the rooms, a bar fight broke out. Soon Sekron got into the fight, as he slams one person's head to a chair.

'Why did I get into this.'

Niki soon joins in as she kicks another man into a wall almost immediately knocking him out.

Ross sighed, wading into the fray and beginning to smash heads together. "Never should have fired Benny." She was glad she had at least, before dismissing the undependable foist, managed to learn afew of his tricks. Such as managing to throw someone twice her weight bodily into the street. Though she supposed it was really just easier to wait for the man to knock them out before she removed them. Much less strenuous. "Whatever your name is, I am certainly appreciating the" here she ducked under a fist, slinging a blue man into the floor. "Help you are giving."

Sekron never did like fighting drunks. Mainly it's because they can't tell what they are doing. He can easily read them without trying. He smiles a little bit, but he hides it among the fighting.

"Not a problem. Aye do what aye can."

Another drunk comes around and smacks him upside the head. He twirls and backhands his face, causing him to fall down. The chairs helped knock the drunk down. A couple more went out the building as the fight closes to an end.

She shoved the last out of the bar with her foot, before locking the door and beginning to set up chairs. "Now back to our conversation, Whatever it was, but aside from a place to sleep at, what are doing in this area? Aside from this ONE bar the only things around here are travel supplies. And when people shop for travel supplies it usually means adventure, And I am a dreadfully nosy woman."

Sekron watches the last drunk fly out of the building. He had to chuckle a little bit before the door was locked. He sighed knowing that this woman would not stop being nosy.

'Great. She is stubborn.'

He wanted to sigh but Niki took the reaction right out of him. She wanted to be rude and snarl at her, but Sekron stops her immediately.

"Eh. This will be hard to xplain. Aye can't disclose too much...blasted military protocols. All aye can say is we are having to find a certain male. Think it would be a pirate no doubt."

Ross leaned back against the bar, crossing her arms. "So pretty much you're on a manhunt? Did they only send the two of ya, or are there more?" Ooooooh classified info. Shiny. She had to stop herself from grinning.

For some reason telling her about this "manhunt" would get him in grave danger. But it seems she doesn't want to let this go, especially classified information that he holds. It's sad though, he is the military commander and he chose to do this.

'God I hope she doesn't find out.'

"Ayep. That be about it." Sekron recalled.

Soon he sighed for a second but hear some footsteps. However, he recognizes this as metal stomps. Someone is using some heavy equipment. Sekron curses as he gets ready to pull out one of his guns.
