A Failed Transporation

(( Not sure how this is going to go, a bit muse dry. >.> ))

Thanatos incorporate, leader of a wide range variety of products, be they consumable, wearable, playable, and things of that general such. Only those that worked there would know the darker truths that go on in the dark within those laborites, not everything that the company is responsible for will always be so sugar coated and sweet. It too, holds its share of lethal substances, abominations of man, terrors that are so shocking in truth, that only disbelief will remain should the general public catch wind of it. Perhaps that too is one of their stronger points, without enough solid evidence directed towards them, they can remain and coexist with the world and universe around them, without the threat of drawing in too much panic that could blow their cover. The threat of pandemonium itself, towards their well being or that of the web of society that they ruled over, had to always be kept secured and monitored to ensure nothing tragic enlightening the blind ‘sheep’  they shepherd.

Amongst those items they were responsible in transporting, one subject stood out more than the rest. A high secured cellblock, to imprison the specimen, security not to uncommon for particular frigates that were responsible for shipping classified cargo. To complete the purposes of protection to that vessel, a small squad of fighter pilots also were to escort it to its designated destination. A beauty it was, a marvelous liftoff upon the eyes, the make out of the formation of those vessels mimicking that of an ‘x’ shape. The frigate within the center, two fighters in front and also behind it; keeping a healthy distance to avoid the scorching hot flames, that could easily melt away even the sturdiest of armor plating exterior on the space shifts, should they get too close for comfort.

It wasn’t till the crew reached orbit, out of Earth’s atmosphere, that things started to take a turn for the worse. Alarms were triggered, a red alert, danger and mayhem alike befalling the frigate that transported the unknown specimen. The scientists, there to keep a watch over ‘it,’ were the first to know what in god blaze’s was going on. Unfortunately for them, they weren’t quick enough to stopped it, and right now there was no stopping of it when they decided to do another test, battle simulation run upon ‘it.’ Those scientists were train professionals, make no mistake about that, but even the greatest of minds are usually composed of their own flaws, and because of this, many human lives will be lost and something of a greater burden will be unleashed upon the world.

The shield, the high powered magnetic field that was to keep the creature inside was now being put to the test. Beastly howls sounding, echoing through every corridor of that space shifts, the melody of an angry animal that sent shivers down the spines of the crew’s. It was only logical to fear and pray whatever it was, didn’t get out, though what faith and Gods or Goddesses they worshipped failed. No animal could remained caged, the muscle power that one was capable of broke through the field that should of contained it. The electricity magnifying amongst the resilient outer shell, that thick leather armor made up of muscle mass. By sheer glances of horror of those onlookers that absorbed the behemoth and the current of electrical molecules radiating off of the specimen; doom itself was ensured.

A slaughter, and for those that creature that was to be transported didn’t’ kill, than the damage alone to the craft was what forced it out of orbit. Oh, the tracker team that may find this vessel or those hunters the government might send out, not keeping them fully updated of the situation, will surely be in for a shock. Let their imaginations run wild of what could rip holes through the hull of the craft, what type of nails that were responsible in shredding such armor as if it wasn’t anything more than butter at the mercy of a knife. The engine room was a mess, power supplies were either broken, bent, or even ripped out alike. Without anything to keep the ship going, the only thing it could do was fall out of orbit, and being so close towards the Earth’s atmosphere, there was only one place for it to go from there.

Free falling, chunks of the spacecraft were already being obliterated without properly descending into the atmosphere. The vessel was further tarnished as it crash landed upon the mountainside, devastating even more of the destroyed city of Ipollius. Just by looking at the craft from the outside, it will be hard to believe that any survivors would emerge from that wreckage. Those that dared to check it out and venture inside, will find a horrible sight, disembodied victims of crew could be seen, limbs, organs, it was a mess all around. One with enough commonsense, would know there wasn’t a possible chance that the crash did this, not how it skewered and shredded the mortal crew apart like a frog in a blender. It could have been invaded at that time, such was a more logical guess, or whatever it was transporting could of did this despicable and unbelievable feat.

Though, there was one survivor… Those that dared the quest of exploration, may find themselves in a deeper shock of what it was or who it might have been.

(( And as you can see, I am trying to set the scenery a bit, next post will initiated more of my character into the play. ))
