Pilots can do anything normal people do!
xD There would have to be a better reason than 'they felt like it,' Pilots do lots and lots of stuff ( We never play it out though because paperwork and writing code is boooooooooooooring ) with their job(the Pilot one). They'd be able to support a business that they own, but they probably wouldn't actively run it. They're too busy.
For instance, ShinigamiKitsune's Trance owns and supports an orphanage. He visits occationally, but he doesn't have the time to actually -run- it. he just owns it and supports it because he felt like there needed to be more orphanages..eses..
