Matt was a genius at only one thing and one thing only: Guns.  He loved them.  He hated magic.  Magic could go wrong...but technology and science was fact.  Magic was just...confusing and he just hated to use it.  Even with his mind reading abilities, he felt that he had a better way to protect himself than with that stupid ability.  He loved to build his own weapons...preferabl y guns.  Though he was just starting out, he had made some promising guns for himself...however, they were all little and tiny shot guns.  Now, he wanted to make a normal sized gun that he could just tuck in a pocket and bring it anywhere.  He wanted one...so he could feel safe about himself.  You never know when an unsuspected attack may befall on the station center.

The training area was where Matt usually tested out his guns and new gadgets.  It was a beautiful place for all his try outs mainly because no one used it as much as he did.  He loved shooting at all of the targets he created...but the dangerous part was, he didn't know if his guns would backfire on him anytime soon.  Hopefully, they wouldn't.

His new gun was perfect in structure.  It was small, with a round tube as a head.  The materials he used were all ordered from some of his friends and so on...but he was the one who figure out how to put them together.  His eyes were peeled at a target as he held the gun up to aim.  Hopefully, this gun would work.  Pulling the trigger with a nervous yet firm grip, he shot.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOM

The thing about Matt's new gun was that there was a lot of gun powder in that small little gun.  Enough to cover a whole face anyways.  He decided to use gun powder because it was easier to get and it was cheaper now a days.  He didn't exactly have millions of dollars to spend on.  But after this, he was starting to think the gun powder wasn't such a bright idea anymore.  The bullet had went straight through his target.  He was kind of proud it even made it that hard and with such force.  It was a success alright...but not completely.  His face was pitch black.  The gun powder had some how exploded onto his face and he was now sputtering up a cloud of black powder.  God...what did he do to deserve this?  His once red hair was now stained with black spots and he wiped most of the powder off...however, smudges were still on his face, and a lot of it was now on his favorite shirt's sleeve.  Great.

For the most part, his gun was near perfect...but who could say anything was..."perfect"?

Luci had been walking down the hallway minding her own business when she had heard possibly the loudest noise in the world "What the bloody hell was that!" she shouted after she picked herself up off the floor; she had put her hands over her ears and dropped to the ground like a rock when the loud noise occured.
She opening a door to one of the training area's and looked in curiously; she didn't like to intrude on people randomly but the noise was so loud she feared someone might have died or somthing, "Hello? are you ok? i heard the noise and i thaught somthing bad might of happened..." she looked at the guy and covered her mouth a small giggle slipping through her fingers before she errupted into laughter "W-what happened to you? your face!" she spoke shakily as she tried to compose herself.
