Kinda...empty... (Zachary)

This was -NOT- his job.

Trakis was a man of distinguished poise, a refined "professional" by his own standards. He could talk his way into (or out of) almost anything, was personally acquainted with several powerful world leaders, and possessed a reputation as one of the wealthiest men on Earth.

So why in the world was he stuck moving office chairs up and down the hallway like some kind of blue-collar poor man?

Apparently, few people actually visited Thanatos Inc's main headquarters, especially the meeting rooms. Sure, they were well furnished as far as the rooms themselves, and each one had a long ovular table in the center for doing what true businessmen did best, but...there were no chairs. How the hell did this company function without -chairs- in the meeting rooms? It was mind-boggling, and as Trakis was always one to put up a good appearance, he made sure the room he and his current boss were in had it's full supply of such.

Back and forth, back and forth, he trundled down the hallway carrying each chair in to the gently dimmed meeting room, positioning them until each side of the table had an even number of 6, along with one at the head of the table, reserved for the boss of course. Trakis dabbed lightly at his brow with his signature white handkerchief once he'd finally finished, relief washing over him as he took a seat just next to the one at the head of the table.

Most men in his position wouldn't have bothered to even fix the room up, but that was simply Trakis' way. Despite his refined tastes he was always willing to work with his hands...it was even reflected in the way he dressed. Tan-colored camouflage pants, black boots, and a dark-brown suit jacket with a collared shirt seemed to contrast with each other, giving Trakis the image of a man who appeared to be either a soldier, or a businessman.

Who's to say he couldn't be both?

"I wonder," Trakis began, leaning back into the chair comfortably and closing his eyes, "I wonder what he looks like..."

He hadn't actually -seen- his boss' face yet, but surely their scheduled meeting would fix all that...
