It hadn't gone down easy. Now Lyric realised why the bounty on this thing was so high. That wasn't fair, it had once been human but now she didn't know what it was. In a way she thought she felt pity towards it.
Watching it squirm on the ground she decided to use her magic and put it out of its misery quickly. She froze as it starting hissing her name. Her mind raced, who was this. her thoughts were interupted when it lashed out at her clawing at her stomach. Without thinking she made it burst into flames.
"Fuck!" she almost screamed as pain took over her. A rustle behind her caught her attention. Someone saw me using magic. The thought blocked out the pain.
