Physical Description Cato's regular form is that of a young man with short, ruffled brown hair. He wears a white, short sleeved t-shirt, a short gray coat with long sleeves, cuffs, a medium collar, and matching gray pants. He has red eyes and a resting bitch face. But even though he looks like he's angry all the time he's really not. He's slightly muscled but he's not much.
Cato's various forms also have their own appearances. If his body isn't just killed, but obliterated, his energy form with spawn out of thin air. It looks like a black silhouette of Cato with glowing white eyes and tendrils of black energy.
His critical mass for looks like the true energy form except it's white, it has red eyes, and the energy making it up is much more chaotic.
His god forms look like the energy form and the critical form, but more controlled and wearing his clothes (dark god being the black energy form and true god being the critical form respectively).
Personality Even though he looks aggressive, Cato is actually very sweet. He doesn't like to hurt people but he understands that occasionally he has to hurt people in order to protect those around him. He never got to meet his parents so he doesn't know where he came from and it can be a sore spot for him. He's a bit reserved but he's very loyal to his friends. He gets emotional when the people around him get hurt. He prefers to enjoy the simpler thing and he likes to talk more than most other things. He likes milk and sea food. He hates people who hurt others for no reason. He doesn't like to make outbursts so he tries to keep his emotions in check. He's also rather naive and he doesn't pick up on a lot of social clues. However, there's a darker side to him. Being raised by the government has lead to Cato not really sure who to trust. Even though Cato doesn't like to hurt people, if he's pushed far enough his "true" feeling will emerge. He really likes to fight, but he hates that part of himself. He hopes the one day be able to meet his parents.
Magic/Abilities Cato is able see the flow of energy in the environment. He's also able to sense energy around him. Normally his range is only about a block, but if he focuses on it then he can cover an entire large city. The exception to this is towards other psychics. His range and strength for sensing them is doubled. Cato is able to project his spirit out of his body and make himself into a ghost. While like this he can enter a sapient creature's body and read their mind. However when he's like this he's more vulnerable to magic. Cato is able to absorb/transfer energy to/from himself/those around him, so he can give others his energy or take energy from others. He can also drain the magic from magical attacks. He's also able to manipulate the energy into basic things, such as an energy ball attack. Also, because of how much concentrated psychic energy is in Cato's body, he's highly resistant to mental attack/magic. Cato also has a massive reserve of psychic energy in his body. Cato is able to use his psychic energy to increase his strength and/or the strength of others. He can also use his energy to increase someone's natural regeneration for minor healing. Cato is also really good with learning how magic flows. He's able to learn new abilities by watching how the magic flows through them (for example: If he watches someone cast a fire ball and cares enough, then he could cast that same fire ball). However his main abilities are Telekinesis and Barriers. He's able to lift large objects and throw them around and high speed and with great force. He's also able to manipulate things on a microscopic level. He's also able of creating barriers of any shape and size. However he can barely control his energy out put. His max output isn't very far from his min output at each level.
However, he has one last thing. Normally Cato is super repressed, but when he's pushed his power bursts forth and he start unleash a lot of power. When his emotions boils over, his power increases tenfold. And some of his powers are affected differently. His precision becomes atomic level.
Because of Cato's repression and his heritage, there's a lot of psychic energy buried deep within his body. And that kind of energy doesn't just sit around and do nothing. All of that power has formed into something powerful and terrible. If Cato is knocked out or killed, the power dwelling deep within him comes alive. Even if he's disintegrated the power will form a body of pure energy. It will do its best to accomplish the last thing Cato was trying to do, with no regard for life or the environment. The energy drain becomes permanent and anything within range starts to get drained of energy, even the atmosphere. Just his steps are enough to shake the ground around him. His powers become 10 times his unleashed power. However, there is one way for this power to surface while Cato is still conscious. If someone close to Cato dies, his pure hatred will overload and this power will come forth.
From here, one of two paths can be taken. If Cato is unconscious, the energy drain will continue. All of that power will build until it reaches a critical mass. When it hits that mass, Cato is covered in white energy and he becomes 10 times stronger than before.
However if somehow Cato is consciously using that power, a second choice can be made. The more hateful he feels, the more dark energy gathers around his body. If left alone, Cato will kill whoever has roused his anger. If he succeeds, his soul will be tainted and he'll be consumed by his dark energy, becoming a dark god.
However if he can be dissuaded from attempting the murder after he's almost completely gone, or he can be redeemed after he's been corrupted, the dark energy surrounding him will become white and his true strength will be unleashed. His true god form will be unleashed.

History Cato's life was complicated from the moment he was born. When tiny baby Cato first came of out his mother, there was a blast of psychic energy powerful enough to shake the entire building. The government quickly got involved and then found Cato. He was so strange. even though he was so young, his psychic energy was off the charts. The government swiftly took Cato away from his parents, telling them that their son would become a great Pilot. This did very little do calm his parents down, but there was nothing they could do about it.
From then on Cato spent his life being raised in a government ward. He was surrounded by people who were hired to help him control his powers. Constant testing and shallow praise became Cato's existence. Even so, his kind nature showed through occasionally. He had a lot of empathy and tried his best to be nice to those around him. Though that could be hard since they all looked at him like an object. That kind of place isn't good for a kid, but Cato did his best to live with it. Now that he's recently turned thirteen, Cato is able to start his pilot training. He's very nervous since his teacher have told him that it's going to be very hard, but this is his only hope of seeing his parents, so he's going to go through with it, no matter the cost.
