Physical Description Light green skin, short choppy black hair and dark green eyes. Her ears are pointy like all elf ears, but with a certain finned appearance that other elven sub-races lack. Indigo lips on an oval face with thick eyebrows. There are gills located on the back of her neck and two more are underneath her ribs. Tribal markings decorate her face, neck and stomach in neon-green and purple hues.

Traditional sea elf clothing is formed from underwater plants in the colors of black, brown and green.

Personality A firm believer in the tenets of her clan, Lorelei is often brutal and merciless when it comes to battle. She does not tolerate weakness in this area nor does she accept terms of surrender. If a battle has started, it must finish to the bloody end. While she may be ruthless, Lorelei is not cruel nor does she prolong the suffering of others. A quick death to the enemy and a victory for her people is what she strives for always. Survival is the key.

While she may be a deadly force to be reckoned with in times of war and bloodshed, Lorelei does know how to have fun and makes sure to attend as many of her people's celebrations as she can. One would see a completely different side to her then.

Magic/Abilities
Water Breathing: As a sea elf, Lorelei is quite capable of breathing underwater as naturally as humans breathe air.

Underwater Vision: As a sea elf, Lorelei can see just as clearly underwater as she can above water. The ocean proves no hindrance to her being able to navigate well.

Fast Swimmer: As a sea elf, Lorelei is a very fast swimmer and can quickly cover many miles underwater.

Weapons/Items
Ocean's Fury Trident: Her chosen weapon, able to unleash the wrath of the ocean upon critical strikes at the enemy, sometimes creating strong vortexes of water that can trap her opponents, rendering them unable to get free and continue the fight. Other times it can cause a drowning effect, as their opponent's lungs start to fill with water, drowning them from the inside out. This obviously only works on certain beings and creatures. The sea elf is quite deadly with this weapon.

History
Lorelei was born nearly four centuries ago on the water planet of Auvis in the Toross Empire. Once she reached adulthood, she began her training as a warrior in her particular clan. This lifestyle has given her the opportunity to travel great distances and to see many different and unique sights.

About The Shark Clan
Lorelei is a warrior, of the Shark Clan sea elves. She has been one since the age of 120 so naturally she has a lot of skill under her belt. The Shark Clan has their spiritual beliefs surrounding the Shark as a symbol and a code to live by. Shark Clan Warriors follow these ten tenets, their code of both life in general and their warrior lifestyle.

These warriors are expected to hone as many of these attributes as possible, preferably all of them. While there are other clans in the oceans in which Lorelei's clan dwells, they for the most part strive to serve as an example of control and power to the other clans and tribes under the sea. There are no rivals to the Shark Clan although some have shown their distaste for Lorelei's people, but it isn't anything to start a war over.

The two most important festivals for this clan are 'The Great Feast' and 'Survival of the Fittest'. While the former is exactly as it sounds like with much feasting to be had, to honor the life that the ocean provides in terms of sustenance, the second one is more brutal. This particular event pits warriors against each other to battle to the death, in order to weed out any weakness within their ranks. In the case of a tie, both opponents have a rematch in order to better determine results. If there is a second tie, then both are declared the victor and can remain within the clan. This festival occurs once every five years. The Great Feast occurs twice a year.

The hierarchy of the Shark Clan is as follows: Clan Leader, Clan Elders (of which there are 3), Clan Warriors, Commoners, and Servants. There are approximately 50 warriors in the Shark Clan. Any commoner who wants to become a warrior can, but must know what they're signing up for and undergo rigorous training realizing they may not survive. Servants are not allowed to become warriors.
