Physical Description Black as night hair, light tanned skin and light blue eyes. Yashana wears her hair pulled back in a braid to keep it out of her face and to help withstand the heat of her home world. When not in a braid, it trails down her back to her waist. Her build is muscular and toned, but still bears a feminine shape. Facial features are rounded, her lips are a cherry red color.

Yashana's clothing consists of white cloth pants, off-white undershirt and thick grey traveling boots. A light brown leather tunic and leather gauntlets with a few metal spikes on them go over top. A light blue shawl is wrapped around her head and neck but she takes it off when hunting or when fighting enemies.

Personality Fierce, competitive, driven. Likes to show others she's tough and doesn't take any crap. Yashana can be a bit wild when it comes to sexual relationships and has been known to take many lovers, but does not stick for long with any one of them. Commitment is not her thing as she looks out for herself and her people in general. All in all, she can be somewhat bitchy too and can be very intimidating when she wants to be, which is a lot.

Magic/Abilities
Great skill with scimitar and dagger in melee and as such, is her preferred method of fighting. For ranged combat, she uses a sling as backup.

Also skilled at hand-to-hand combat when the need arises.

No magic other than increased heat and poison resistance, but she is not totally immune to such either.

Weapons/Items
Desert Wind: A scimitar enchanted with fire, able to scorch and burn anything it hits. The effects are dormant when sheathed, and immediately reignite upon unsheathing.

Desert Claw: A very sharp dagger Yashana uses as an off-hand weapon. Other than its extreme sharpness, there is nothing special about it.

Sling of Force: A powerful sling equipped with mighty stone bullets that can deliver a crushing blow to anything it strikes. The sling comes with a total of five bullets.

Miscellaneous: A variety of bombs and grenades also fill out her arsenal of weaponry.

History Yashana lives in a moderately-sized desert community which consists of four small villages located right next to each other. The villages are known as Red Sands, Yellow Rock, Cactus Bend and Crackenburg. Yashana lives in the first one listed. All citizens from a young age are trained to become warriors and or hunter-gatherers. Yashana is not exempt from this responsibility as everyone is expected to do their part. She started weapons training and hand-to-hand combat when she was only nine years of age and quickly picked up on it, becoming the skilled warrior she is today. She doesn't really forage much but she does a lot of hunting and any kind of meat for her people goes, as none can afford to be picky. If one is picky they starve, simple as that.

The four villages all share and trade various resources with one another, so no one is left wanting. All four are grouped together in a close-knit society, with metal gates dividing the different villages from each other. Outhouses are located in plentiful supply throughout the community, and for bathing purposes they utilize sponge baths from whatever water they can get their hands on. There is however, a pit dug into the earth where a small underground pond is located and that serves as their main water source which they have to make sure to continually refill it from time to time through trade agreements with the nearby planet of Auvis. The pit is situated in the village of Yellow Rock so many in the community travel through it to get what water they need and are only allowed to take no more than what they absolutely need. Excess is viewed as not only wasteful, but also distasteful and could get that individual whipped in a public flogging for bad behavior. Repeat offenders are cast out into the outside desert terrain.

Everyone has to work hard in their respected village. In the case of the elderly or disabled though, those are the only exceptions that are given. Yashana's family is now just her and her older brother as the mother was mauled to death by large desert Hydras and their father later died of poison when he had tried to save her. The few healers the community has were unable to neutralize the poison in time. Nowadays, the desert warrior continues to hone her battle skills and hunt for food, and during her off-times she can be seen getting down and dirty with one or more males from any of the villages.
