Appearance:
A life of manual labor has given him a hardy fitness, and he's naturally lean in physique.  His hair is steel gray, his eyes light and colorless, and his complexion pale and slightly iridescent.

Personality:
Mocking and flippant.  Likes to bait people.  Projects insouciance with an easy smile and jokes but this all masks a bitter distrust of everyone he meets.  Quick to assume the worst of people and equally quick to make them think he's on their side.

History:
Grey was born deep in the frontier, under another name that he has no recollection of.  He was known to be a child of magic early on.  When he was five, outlaws took him from his mother and killer her.  Using technology half stolen and half rigged, the band hooked him up to their mordecai and added him to their small collection of mages.  They called him Grey on account of his hair.  He spent eighteen hard years with them until the law caught up with the group and Grey was taken into the fold of proper Edanith society.
