{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION}

Rolin has longish dirty-blonde hair and blue-grey eyes. Their hair they keep in a tail to keep it from whipping around their face, especially when they’re riding. They’re whipcord thin due to their constant movement, but that doesn’t mean a breeze will knock them over. They actually do have quite a bit of strength to their frame, which comes from both riding for a living and carrying letters and packages hither and yon. Rolin always wears a bandana wrapped around their neck to cover their face and protect it from the wind, along with a wide-brimmed hat to protect their skin from the sun. A long black leather duster that’s seen better days completes their ensemble. The rest of their clothes are usually hand-me-down hardy materials that offer a little more protection than regular clothing.

{PERSONALITY}

Rolin is a kind soul, despite the rough life they’ve had. From a young age, Rolin was taught to stand up for themself and others, and to obey the letter of the law. However, Rolin won’t be stopped from doing their job, and they will defend themself with everything they have available to them. They will stop and help a stranger if need be, but they know how dangerous that is, so it’s always with a grain of salt. Rolin does try to be as professional as possible when they’re delivering mail and packages, offering two-fingered salutes or tipping the brim of their hat when they arrive and when they leave.

They’re also a die-hard romantic. They want to find the right person, the forever person, the proverbial lifemate and partner. They know it’s likely a pipe-dream, nigh impossible, but that still doesn’t stop them from hoping that, one day, all their wildest dreams will come true and they’ll get to, literally, ride off into the sunset. Therefore, Rolin doesn’t take up offers of one-night stands or relieving stress. They’re polite about it, but they will always refuse.

Fun Facts:
- They have a collection of paperback romance novels in their backpack that they’ve read and reread over and over again
- They can do all sorts of trick riding
- They may look unarmed, but they aren’t, but they’ll usually try to find a peaceful way out of a fight if they can
- They have a harmonica-like instrument they carry in their pocket and they can play several songs on it

{SPECIAL ABILITIES}

Lodestone - Rolin can find their way to anyone from anywhere, provided they have something to deliver. Something of a natural compass exists inside them, so they always know where they’re at and where they’re going. And, somehow, always, the recipient of the package or letter they’re carrying is designated ‘north’

They’ve been riding since they were really little, and so is an expert at guiding Kemo Sabe with just their knees and legs, which comes in handy when their hands might be otherwise occupied

{RELATIONSHIPS}

Reid and Domino Grave - Rolin’s parents, from whom they inherited The Lone Ranger Express. Living out on the frontier, Reid and Domino taught their child everything Rolin would need to survive when they were no longer around to care for them. Reid taught Rolin to fight, Domino taught Rolin to ride, and they both instilled in Rolin the sense of duty and the creed of mail deliverers everywhere.

Kemo Sabe - Their badarii, their beloved partner without whom they would never even have their business. Also without whom they might not be alive today.

Oklahoma - That weird guy who keeps ordering hats

{BACKGROUND NOTES}

Rolin didn’t grow up in a small town or city, but rather grew up traveling with their parents, Reid and Domino, learning the trade of mail delivery from a very young age. Domino liked to joke Rolin learned to ride before they learned to crawl. Rolin saw and experienced dangerous things, amazing things, spectacular things, and gained a love for the job just as much as their parents did. Rolin also saw the love Reid and Domino had for each other, and began to desperately want that for themself. Eventually, Reid and Domino settled down to have a home base of sorts, so that they could enjoy their “retirement” and yet still be a part of the business. Rolin now does the delivery of the packages and mail, constantly traveling back and forth.
