{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION}
Hikaru possesses shoulder-length dark hair that’s usually pulled back into a messy bun, since that’s his usual go-to after rolling out of bed in the morning. He has almond-shaped doe-brown eyes that are often hidden behind black-rimmed glasses. His skin is olive, and he has a dainty tattoo of a feather on the inside of his left ankle which he got only because he wanted to know what a tattoo felt like. He has a slight build and lightly defined muscles. When he changes from Hikaru to Rukhia, his shoulder-length dark hair comes out of its messy bun and is styled into twin pigtails that start just below his ears. He removes the glasses and puts in contacts, and puts on makeup to soften the fact that he is, indeed, male.
{PERSONALITY}
As Hikaru, he’s a very sweet boy, if somewhat shy. He practically lives holed up in his apartment surrounded by pieces of artwork and photographs of “subjects”, mainly Pilots and various celebrities that make “guest” appearances in his work. He rarely goes out, because if he does, he’s usually accosted before he reaches wherever it is he was trying to get to. To cut down on that, he usually dons various disguises, but how well they work depends upon his skill at changing his appearance. When speaking, he’s very polite and will sometimes use honorifics such as
-shi.
As Rukhia, she’s more outspoken and louder, if only to show the world that she can be something more than a comic mouse. If anyone knows what’s good for them, they don’t try to talk to her about his comics when she’s Rukhia, because she doesn’t know what they’re talking about, of course. She goes to clubs to dance and sing, even though she’s not very good at either. There’s nothing polite about her; she will call it as she sees it, even going so far as to call someone out on whatever they’re doing. She won’t hesitate to defend herself, even if the person is bigger than she is.

None, although he has an eye for lines and mixing colors. He’s talented at doing make-up, which could be considered a special ability, if only for the different effects he can get eyeshadow to do.
{RELATIONSHIPS}
Tokio Fain - Hikaru’s mother, she supports her son in whatever passion he has. She is a petite and quiet woman who is quite fiery when roused. When Hikaru is Rukhia and visits, Tokio pretends that she has two children, rather than one. Of course, she hasn’t read any of Hikaru’s works, and Hikaru hopes she never will.
Mikael Fain - Hikaru’s father, who was very disappointed in his son when he discovered Hikaru wanted to be a comic book artist rather than take over the family restaurant. He also doesn’t like the fact that Hikaru cross-dresses and makes sure he isn’t around when Hikaru comes by to visit.
{BACKGROUND NOTES}
Hikaru had a relatively good childhood growing up in his parents’ restaurant. Though he never learned to read above a third-grade level, Hikaru became incredibly proficient at drawing. It became his dream to become a comic book artist, and started off doing small internet doodles that barely got him any attention. As he grew, Hikaru also felt like something was missing in his life, but didn’t know what. His parents didn’t understand why he didn’t want to work in the restaurant and rather wanted to go out into the city and visit different locales that catered to drag queen shows. It was at one such show that Hikaru discovered Rukhia, his alter ego.
Through Rukhia, Hikaru was able to experience life the way he wanted to without anyone judging him for it. His art also soared to new heights as he started drawing comics based on real-life events that he witnessed. He began drawing porn comics soon after, mostly featuring celebrities and Pilots, and his popularity really hit unimaginable heights when he published the “Book of Mass Erection”, which features certain Pilots and celebrities in rather compromising positions and situations.
