{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION}
Like all House Horizon elves, she has the signature dark skin and hair. She keeps her hair in a bunch of tiny braids with half pulled back into twin buns on the middle of her head and the rest up in a peacock fan. Her hair is also decorated with little white and cerulean beads and bright pink rubber bands when the mood strikes her, because she does what she wants and you can’t tell her otherwise. She is slim and scrappy and likes pretending that she’s taller than she really is.
Lisabete wears just about anything that catches her fancy, so one day she’ll wear boots and pants and a t-shirt, and the next day she’ll wear boots and a skirt and a sweater. Her clothes almost always never match, and she doesn’t really adhere to any sort of fashion or label. If it looks pretty, she’ll probably snatch it up and wear it.
{PERSONALITY}
Lisabete is a jack of all trades and a master of none. Whatever catches her fancy at any given time, she’s going to go do it. She will give it every ounce of attention she has, until something else catches it. She’s been taking care of herself from a young age, so her manners are lacking. Her bibi would be very disappointed in her. She loves playing pranks and going places where she really shouldn’t be going, just to prove she can, and just because there might be something interesting there.
Even though she can seem to be an airhead or scatterbrained, she actually has a quick and calculating mind. She can turn a situation around in her favor as quickly as one might strike a match. If someone is paying her for a service, she’ll give them 110% of her attention and get that job done.
She can seem a little aloof to strangers, mostly because she’s terrified that she’ll end up just like her bibi if she meets that ‘one’. But once she warms up to a person, she’s a chatterbox and will talk about anything that comes to her mind.
Fun Facts:
- She loves pretty things, and has a personal collection of rubber bands, beads, and colored hair things
- She talks when she’s excited. A lot. Really fast. Sometimes she doesn’t even understand what she’s saying.
- Has absolutely no fear of monsters under the bed
- Loves coloring books, it’s her secret vice
{SPECIAL ABILITIES}
She has quick fingers, such that she can snatch something out of someone’s pocket before they even realize that it’s missing. And if there’s a prize for chatter, she’s probably won it.
{RELATIONSHIPS}
Her parents - She wasn’t her bibi’s first child, but she certainly was the last. An out of resonance baby, she watched her bibi and her opo slowly “fade away” as she calls it, and she was left on her own on the cusp of adulthood, and so has always taken care of herself.
Meztli Veleyn Atl - Maternal half-brother, he is her older brother and her only living family. At first, she didn’t know he existed, but now she travels with him wherever he goes and is more often than not a partner in his shenanigans.
Nall - They met through Mezzo, and she considers him a good friend, even if he scares her each time he does the Stare of Disappointment.
Levi - Nall's child and her adopted nephew. She always brings him a present, but she never reveals where the present comes from or how she got it, exactly. It helps she's good at sleight of hand.
{BACKGROUND NOTES}
Lisabete was born to an out of Resonance pair. She loved her parents, and they loved her, but the fact was that both of her parents were slowly dying. Before she had even entered true adulthood, both her parents were gone and she was taking care of herself. She quickly learned that nothing would be handed to her and that she would have to fight just to survive, which she did, and does quite well. Being young, Lisabete got into a whole bunch of trouble and found that she really enjoyed the wandering and odd jobs and living ‘in the moment’. Her manners leave a little bit to be desired, but she can be perfectly diplomatic if she wants to be.
She never knew she had an older brother, until they met by chance. And she hasn’t left his side much since, traveling with him and helping him in his own work.
