"You're an outdated model, Version one point oh," that was the taunt Version two point oh used to coax the ARAD unit into attacking her head on. And her taunt had succeeded. But it had not ended as planned. Everything in her kit, weaponry, cloaking technology, all of it served to counter the prime unit. Even her electronic systems could counter his defragmentation unit and completely disable it.

Then why. Why were her critical systems right now booting down. Why was she face down in the dirt, her optics lining up to scan his metal feet. "You newer models look so much more human," ARAD V1.0 snarled softly. "A shame you fail to think as one." The droid leaned down and tapped the metal chassis around his cerebrum. "Your minds have turned to programs. They are useless, lack improvisation," he snarled again, turning around as he made his way to her ship. "I'll take this." He stated coldly.

And then it took off.

This entire scene took place half an hour ago. And ARAD V2.0 had recorded everything. She could track her ship down easily. Though her foe had damaged her systems enough and tore off an arm. She had no resources to convert for repairs. Nor did she have the energy to actually get up. It was frustrating. The generation two droid just couldn't compute what had happened. But now, her primary directive were repairs. Than she could proceed the chase.

The wind howled loudly, clouds of sand passing by. And slowly burying her chassis under the dust and grime. Soon, nothing from her remained but a soft humming and a dim, blue light piercing the sand.
