The artist's high [open] [M]

OOC: I don't know how this turns out, so tagging for mature.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spectacular. That was the first word anyone would think off when arriving at a concert by DJ Nequit. The amount of people flocking there, from all caste's in Haviah were far more than numbrous. It was an event everyone had to witness. And it would be on the news for the next several weeks.

Even Nikita herself was nervous. Each year her crowd grew. Each year her fans flocked to Haviah to enjoy her music and see her in the flesh. People admired her, worshipped her. In Haviah, the name Nikita Mirai was unknown, yet, DJ Nequit was known by everyone. Anyone unknowning to the stagename was considered a philistine.

However, the instant Nikita put the helmet on, she was ready. Becoming an entire different person. The visor slid down infront of her face and she stood ready, one hand on her hip. And soon, an elevator slowly carried her towards the top of the stage. She was met with a crowd that was completely silent. Their breath held in anticipation.

The woman smirked, lowering her hands towards the graphical interface that was projected infront of her. Time to make magic.

Her bodysuit turned purple, the visor becoming completely dark. The holographic hair attached to the helmet, defying gravity, turned into a radiant purple. The entire room lit up in a similar shade of  purple. After a gentle tap on the interface, she threw her hands up, met by loud cheers and applause as the music slowly started to work it's way up, soon entering the first climax with a loud drop, causing the entire crowd to start dancing to the beat.

She found herself standing there. Rain poured hard and many people were running. She was soaked as if having stood here for hours in an empty alleyway. But the way Symphonica felt was as if she had just woken up.

She looked at her watch. 8:30 PM. When looking at the date there was another feeling. As if she was supposed to be somewhere. Something she had looked forward to for what seemed to be a very long time. If only she could remember what it was.

That would be something to think of later. Now, she had to get some place dry. She exited the dark alleyway in a quick pace and kept going, despite having passed several opportunities to find shelter from the rain she did not stop. Following her feeling of having to be somewhere.

Symphonia heard the music from the first song which was what drew her in the concerthall and once inside she could see how crowded it was.

''Ticket and ID please.'' A man spoke. His built was broad like any security man.

''Yes of course...'' Symphonica spoke and took her wallet to take out the ticket and ID like an automatic response.
How on earth did she even had one? Symphonia could not recall purchasing it. Still she handed the man her ID and the ticket.

The man scanned the barcode presend on the ticket''Oh a VIP ticket. A valid one at that. I suppose you had some hold up getting here all soaked and a little late. After all a VIP ticket is only for the first person to get a ticket. No matter. Follow me and above all enjoy yourself.'' the man returned her ID and ticket.

He did not lead her through the crowd but instead a backway with less people, guiding her towards a small platform lit up with various colors of light. A few more security guards were on the luminating stairs to prevent anyone else from going on but moved aside when Symphonica was lead towards it.

Already during the way to the stage the music that was played was something that made Symphonica's body into a dancing mood.

Wait. Was that what that stage was about? Dancing without anyone else around her? Wether yes or no when on that platform it only took a few seconds for her to move her body on the music's rythm.

Nikita noticed how one of the VIP's was lifted to one of the special platforms. The people that bought first or bought a ticket at least thrice as expensive. And this time. No one had bought a VIP ticket. So she was only meant to meet one person after the concert. Even a meet and greet was included as a secret perk to the first ticket sold. Yet. Her toughts on the VIP tickets. Their perks. Everything dissappeared instantly, her music entering another slow, rythmical buildup.

A slow smirk slid across her lips as she spreaded her arms during the buildup, after a rapid succession of bass beats, everything went silent. the entire crowd ceased moving. Their breath held in anticpation. For a brief moment, the sound of a needle being dropped would be audible. A deep, exhilerated breath resounded from Nikita. "Nothing can stop me.." Her whisper carried across the room, through the microphone. Her voice filled with anticipation, exhiliration, burning passion. The feeling this gave was indescribable. A potent drug no stimsticker or medicine could recreate. Only a split second after the whisper left her mouth, the music bursted out with an epic follow up, the lights changing from a soothing purple to a fiery, crimson red. Her bodysuit following the theme of the music.

And the entire concert became a rythmic chaos of movement once more. With a graceful flip, Nikita stepped ontop of her mixing panel, throwing her hands up and starting to bop along to the beat, almost the entire concert trying to replicate her graceful and swift movements.

Symphonia did not remember all the extra's that came with a VIP ticket but for some reason she felt amazing. Still being wet from the rain drops came from her body and hair when she danced. The droplets lit up by the various lights around her.

She saw the droplets and everything else as if in slowmotion. Her dancing was natural to her too. Almost like a second nature and the platform provided Symphonia with all of the space she needed.

Nikita chuckled under her breath as everyone moved to the music she created. All hers. All hers to command. Their movement, their emotions, were all controlled by her. Right here, right now. She was an artist. The crowd was her blank canvas. Music her paint. She was making beautiful art right now. Each and every person that came to her concert. She'd make them beautiful. This night, they would become perfect. All of them. Briefly attaining the perfection she wanted through her music.

Adrenaline pumped through her veins. Exhiliration and a burning passion the only things on her mind. She fully gave herself to her own music, controlling it with no less than her own feet. Something she had practiced a long time. But, practice payed off. And she could keep dancing while setting the crowd to her hands.

The concert was about half way in when two more platforms rose. Someone or actually a few people seemed to have paid a little extra for the full experience. Symphonica was alone but one of the platforms had four people dancing on them and the other one five.

They too seemed to have the time of their life. Seeing the others sharing the stage though made her feel slightly lonely. But she only had one ticket and whatever had been going on she certainly could not remember if someone was supposed to join her or not.

She did not think about those thoughts for long though and enjoyed dancing on the music and Nikita's performance to the best.

After several hours, her final song drew to a close. As soon as the last note was blasted into the crowd, Nikita stood up and bowed deeply. Met with loud cheers and applause. She smiled gently under her panting breath, before stepping down from her mixing panel and turning around. To leave the stage. She knew she was going to be the subject of various conversations across Haviah for the next few weeks. Slowly. The platforms with the VIP dancer's lowered to the stage, several guards escorting them away. Yet Symphonica wasn't lead to the exit, but rather backstage, where she was met with the sight of Nikita sitting down on a stray crate, talking with whi would be her manager. A bottle of water in her hand. With the words 'Again, you never cease to amaze me, girl.' The fat man in suit left again, as Nikitq stood up. One of the guards accompanying Symphonica speaking up. "Miss Mirai?" Nikita looked over to the guard, the helmet still perched ontop of her head. "Is this the one?" Was what she asked, the soldier merely nodding. "Good. Leave us for a moment." Was what she said towards the guard, before looking at Symphonica with a soft smile. "Nikita Mirai.. Also known as DJ Nequit, whom do I have the pleasure with?"

Symphonica was not sure what exactly happened as she got escorted when the concert was over but she did feel exited. Those who upgraded their tickets appearantly had were not taken. She soon realised she was being taken to the creator of this amazing music.

''My name is Symphonica Alaris. Pleasure is mine.'' Symphonica replied. Alaris? It left her mouth without a second thought. But she supposed it was her last name since it had a really nostalgic ring to it.

''The concert was amazing. I am really glad I got to see you perform. Everyone dancing, it brings people together.''

"Symphonica.." Nikita said with a soft smile. "A beautiful name.. Symphony.." She unscrewed the bottle again and took a gentle sip from the water, smiling warmly at the compliment. "My sincerest thanks. I am happy you loved it." She chuckled slightly, nodding in response. "Yes. There's always so many.. People that open their schedules to see me perform.. It's amazing." Another smile, "I'm glad I can bring people together."

''I apolagise for asking. It is the first time I've ever been backstage and met an artist. What usually all happens?'' Symphonica asked. ''I was so exited when I got my desired ticket it had overwhelmed me. I doubt me asking you to get a Latte with me somewhere is not included.''

It was a bit of a jester although at the other hand Symphonica was curious regarding Nikita's personality. But even if it was possible she could imagine after performing the woman would be tired and in very much need of rest and quiet.

"You don't need to apologise at all." Nikita said with a chuckle, "some people have some questions prepared. Others drop to their knee and propose.. I think you'll do neither?" She smirked slowly. "And the latte.. Well. I would take that opportunity. But not right now. I'm sweating from performing and quite honestly.. It feels like I smell bad now." And boy did she hate that.

''Prepared questions huh? That would be more of an interview then instead of meeting you. And proposing, well. That would be to soon. We do not know one another well after all.'' she teased. ''After your performance I can imagine you would like to wash up and the like. I was drenched when I got in but the dancing kind of make my very sweaty as well.''

She was not wrong, her neat clothes did seem kind of ruined and despite her sweat was not stinking yet, surely it would do that sooner or later.

"Sometimes, yes," she chuckled slowly. "Are you planning on courting me, miss Symphonica?"

Nikita looked down and plucked at the latex suit, pulling a piece of the latex between two fingers. "Then imagine wearing something like this," she smirked with a slight disgust, "It is really the worst."

''I can imagine. Still though, it does look good on you. As for courting you...''

Symphonica pondered. ''Well you impressed me, but like I said. We do not know one another that well. If you by any miracle would like to though, I do not mind meeting you over a coffee. Either in a nice café, or if you prefer peace and quiet and would not find it to creepy, I can make good coffee. Hot and iced.''

"All part of the get-up." Nikita chuckled slowly. "Tell you what. I'm going to peel this suit off and we'll talk about this coffee in my changing room." She gestured for Symphonica to follow her and started to walk towards her changing room, opening it and walking in. It was pretty neatly decorated. "Take a seat," was what she said as she walked behind a screen, hiding herself from sight, she started to pull the latex from her body, it was always damn difficult. The usual sounds of slapping and pulling latex were heard as she was busy.

Symphonica had not exactly expected to be asked inside but followed calmly and took a seat as she was told to. She had actually half expected someone from security telling Nikita it was unwise to invite a stranger inside.

''Ehm... you alright there?'' She almost suggested to help Nikita out but before the words left her mouth she figured they would be unwise to say.

"Quite-" was the answer from behind the screen, before another loud slap and a high pitched squeel resounded. "Ok. That hurt!"  The rest of Nikita's changing was pretty uneventful. "So. Where would you want to grab that latte if it isn't at your place?" She inquired before stepping out from behind the screen. Clad in a black tanktop and a navy trackpants. She slicked back some of her raven hair and sat down next to Symphonica.

''well there is this really classy place called Lamia Latte. They serve amazing coffee and variations of it not to mention, really good cakes. And there is Dead End. It really is not as morbid as it sounds and is also more quieter.'' She looked at Nikita but not in a creepy way. The woman looked a lot different now. Giving Symphonica the realisation she had no spare clothes and prayed that her deoderant would at the least last long enough.

"Hm. I see." Nikita stretched her arms. "Lamia Latte sounds like an interesting place.." She chuckled slightly. She would get a lot of attention if she suddenly went there. Wich wasn't all that bad.

''Then let's do that. My treat obviously.'' Symphonica said with a smile. ''Will your bodyguards agree with it actually?'' It had already crossed her mind Nikita would get recognised.
