Ari had a routine when he stopped by the Cancer.

Get supplies for his fish tank? Check. Check in on new jobs from his contractors? Check. New tattoo, or continue the work on his back? Mm. Not this time.

Get wasted and have a random hookup? In progress.

This time, however, he was looking for something a little extra to get the ball rolling. After that confrontation with Darvish, it was going to take more than just booze to take the edge off. And damned if he didn't feel edgy as fuck. Damned if he didn't feel like he'd jumped back fifteen years, back when he'd been scared and jumping at shadows, always listening for signs of the fucker. Knowing he was here on the Cancer was enough to make him twitchy.

But, supposedly there was some guy here that specialized in various recreational drugs. Good, quality shit, not sketchy stuff thrown together with supplies fished from beneath the sink.

Now all that was left was finding the guy. Which wasn't proving difficult. Judging by word on the street--well, district--he was pretty popular.

Ari headed toward the wealthier district, all too aware that he stood out like a sore thumb here in his worn cargo pants, combat boots, tank top, and tats. That was common for the Cancer, but this area looked more...business-suit-ish.

Probably filled with mafia and cartels.

Cancer.

Perhaps it was the name, or perhaps it was the place's shoddy reputation, but Elaros wasn't particularly fond of the place. Did it change the fact that his company had an office there? and a few stores in the wealthier sectors? No, and it didn't help that his pleasure-yacht needed refueling, too.

It was one of the few times he was nervous to be famous. No doubt the appearance of The Anastasia would set criminals abuzz. The Anastasia was a mighty fine prize indeed, for any pirates worthy enough to take her.

Since nobody had ever tried, and since the ship was a unique model, however, Elaros' defences were completely unknown. A peak nobody had ever tried to climb.

It was the appreciative whistles and "oohs" that drew Ari's ear and, curious, he headed for the other looky-loos.

A new ship had docked at the docking bay, and as Ari pushed through the gawking crowds, he had to let out an appreciative whistle of his own.

Damn, that thing was a beaut.

Definitely the sort of ship he would target out in the black.

Well, he had some time to kill now, so he edged around some gawkers to get a good view, curious to see just who would step out of such an elaborate ride.

The first things that came out of Elaros' ship was two Low Drakkon guards, armored in a combination of modern armor and velvet-red robes and armed with an elegant combination between a vibro-bladed halberd and an assault rifle.

The armor plating was heavy, the only hint given to the reptilian nature of the guards being the shape of the visored helmet, the tails swishing calmly, and the odd angle of their legs. After a few moments, Elaros stepped out, dressed in a tailored suit fit for a ruler of an economic empire. The guards held their halberd-rifles at the ready and followed close behind Elaros as he stepped through the boarding tube and towards an awaiting vehicle.
