Physical Description
Damion has a sort of rugged appearance. He doesn't dress very spectacularly. He wears a navy blue t-shirt, carpenter jeans, and work boots. He has short black hair and keeps himself clean shaven. His eyes are ice blue and seemingly bottomless if one were to look into them. Damion also has a number of scars covering his hands and forearms with some on his face, torso and legs as well. His left eye is also a bionic replacement. It merely looks like an eye-shaped red lens where his real left eye used to be, but is a fully functioning replacement. All in all, he looks like the rough-and-tumble criminal type, but is quite handsome as well.
Personality
Despite looking like a hardened criminal, he is quite the opposite. Ok, he is still a criminal, but not a bad one. Damion is actually really friendly and fun to be around. He has a great sense of humor and loves to induce laughter and show off his knife tricks. He is a loyal friend and is very protective of those he cares about. Damion also has the occasional profound moment where a bit of wisdom will shine through as well. If you were to ever have a friend, Damion would be the friend you want.
Magic/Abilities
Damion has no magic or psychic abilities, but he is very skilled with knives of all sorts. If it involves knives, odds are, he would be able to do it. He does everything from knife fighting, knife throwing, knife juggling, anything. While this pretty much makes him useless with any other weapon, he is nigh unstoppable with a knife in his hand. He even uses knives to keep himself so clean shaven and the scars on his hands and forearms are as much a result of failed tricks as they were actual combat. Damion always makes sure that he is carrying plenty of blades on his person at all times.
Perhaps his strangest skill is his ability to cook. Cooking, which involves plenty of knives, came quite naturally to him and is his primary method for bartering a ride on ships. He is a very good cook and has received many offers to stay on board ships permanently, but he turns them down in favor of finding his own destiny.

History
Oh where to begin with this guy. Damion was born on the space station Cancer as the result of a one-night stand. Though his mother did not want him, she did not have the heart to abort him, so she gave birth to little Damion and then left him somewhere. Damion was picked up by a random passerby and taken to an orphanage of sorts. It didn't take long for Damion to run away from the orphanage to do his own thing and get picked up by a gang. The gang taught Damion how to steal, lie, and most importantly how to fight. Damion took to the knife like a duck in water and quickly became one the best fighters they had. His love for knife fighting went so far as for him to co-found a knife fighting division of an underground fight club of which he became the champion.
One day during a heist, Damion and his "friends" were caught. The other gang members quickly abandoned Damion in order to get away. Damion was caught by the owner of a small restaurant whose name was Ted. Instead of turning Damion in to the authorities, Ted made a deal with him. Damion would work at the restaurant, and Ted would not turn him in. At first, Damion hated his new job, but then he saw all of the knives involved in food preparation. Damion learned to cook as quickly and easily as he had learned to fight. Ted became like a father figure to Damion and taught him things like how to shave, how to talk to girls, and even a life lesson here and there.
However, the gang members who had escaped were not pleased with Ted and decided to seek revenge. One day after closing time, four gang members entered the small restaurant and immediately attacked Ted as he was mopping the floors. Damion, who had been cleaning up the kitchen, grabbed the nearest two knives he could find and rushed to the aid of his friend. Damion attacked the gang members despite being outnumbered. By the time the fight was over, two of the gang members lay dead and the other two ran off with plenty of cuts for their troubles, but Damion had already been too late. Ted had been seriously wounded. Damion did all he could to save the life of the one true friend he had ever had, but it wasn't enough. Before he died, Ted gave Damion one last piece of advice:
"Don't try to avenge me. Stay true to yourself and you'll be unstoppable."
With his friend dead and his job gone, Damion had nothing. Instead of being cold and heartless from losing everything near and dear to him, Damion took to heart Ted's final words and remained his normal cheerful self in Ted's memory. He would not be defeated so easily. Nowadays, Damion travels all over the place seeking to find his destiny and a place where he belongs.
The Prosthetic Eye
I'm sure you are curious as to where the eye came from, so this is how that happened.
One of Damion's favorite tricks is to throw a knife into the air and the catch it handle first on his forehead, between his eyebrows. The reason for that is because the area between your eyebrows is called the glabella and is the thickest part of the human skull. Therefore, if the knife would land blade first by accident, it would be unable to do much damage because it would simply bounce of the skull and leave only a small wound behind. Damion actually has four tiny scars on his forehead from the times that the knife did land blade first.
Anyway, the fake eye. One day, Damion was trying to impress and amaze his friends with his favorite knife trick. He tossed the knife into the air and was bust positioning himself beneath it. While he was doing so, one of his friends thought it would be funny to give him a small nudge. This small ended up offsetting Damion enough for the knife to land right in his left eye. That same friend ended up being one of the gang members that Damion later killed while Ted was being attacked.
