Careful, that sex tiger has crabs! (DRACCY! DRACCY!)
« on: April 22, 2008, 01:24:00 am »
There was a city nearby but it was really hard to get into. It had a strange shield on it that kept a lot of things from getting into it. However, he had a few little...tricks that he used to get in. That was of course when he needed something, a part to fix himself with, a fill up of oils, whatever he needed to survive. Then he would just escape, and he'd be back to living in his little home. However over the past few weeks he had a bad run in with a few...things and had to get quite a few things as of late.

He didn't think anything of it though really.

Why would he?

He was a crab. That's what he was. Well. He wasn't really a crab...well alright. Okay. He was....it was hard to really say just what he was. He was a mechanical crab, with actual crab insides. It was just...he was odd. He was a wizard with mechanics though, but sadly he was still a crab, frightened and scared on the inside. That probably explained why didn't live IN Haviah really.

Dragons liked to eat crabs.

So did birds, but they weren't a real worry. Most of the birds couldn't hurt him, he was wrapped all in metal, but he was still a crab at heart and afraid of things that used to eat his kind. While a seagull couldn't get into the hard shell, a dragon still could, quite easily. It didn't help that he was only about a foot and a half across and a foot tall when standing up straight. He just wasn't that ah...threatening to anything bigger than him.

That is until they discovered his glowing red eye, or the pincers. Enough to cut through steel really, and his eye was a laser cutter, so he was defended really! Oh yes, he could take on a predator if they came a calling to him. Right now he was on a return trip from Haviah, keeping himself at the side of a sort of tunnel he built. The only problem was the large dome, which took him some time to get around. He had to use a few special devices and coat his shell with a special electronic pulse. He was outside once more and launching himself into the tunnel that would take him back to his home.

It only took a few minutes to reach it, he appeared from the hole in the ground only for a second or two before he entered a collection of large rocks that had been pushed up to create a sort of...home really. He had dug out inside to make it much larger underground, built support structures to keep the rocks up, basically made a small crab house underneath. It even had a small power source for lighting, he was just that amazing really! He had just made a nice haul actually, got himself a little sensor for finding out if anyone was approaching his place. He was sure that the inhabitants wouldn't take too kindly to him stealing things after all.

As if they'd catch him.

He'd taken only a few small things, and the rocks were good at dampening the energy source he had hidden away. Scuttling into the door, which was a small slab of rock he'd put in the way. Inside it was...cozy...there were different lights strung up around the rocks, and it was indeed much bigger looking on the inside. There was a sort of small blanket in one area for him to lie down on, where he could recharge the power source in his body. It wasn't often that he needed to do that of course, but eventually he would. He was lucky to find a limitless power source, or at least, one that wouldn't run dry for quite a while. He only wished he could install that into himself, but of course...that would kill him. He wasn't very ah...good with doing something that.

Something was strange though. There was an odd snake like creature in his home. It had taken up residence during the storm no doubt. His grey eye focused on it, the blue rings rotating and getting smaller and bigger as it adjusted to look at it, scanning the creature. "Snake will vacate premises." His voice was small, digital, not so much a mans, but more autonomous than that. The snake only reared up, hissing at him. His red eye seemed to glow brighter as he focused on the snake. A slight sizzle and a laser cut through the air, slicing the snake in half cleanly. The bionic crab moved closer and grabbed the parts of the snake, dragging it back outside to toss it onto the ground.

Hah. No one messed with him.

He was Bionic Crab...Crab Zero Eight to be exact.

Why was this so damn important?  Grumbling as she took a soapy brush to her dragons toes, who was all but purring like a kitten, she grumbled and smacked his leg, making him grumble back. "I'm not happy, you can't be happy either." He snorted at her and huffed, wiggling his already clean shiny toes.  "You know once we go out there they'll get dirty, right?" Whiro blew more hot air at her and she shook her head. Her long wavy black and blue hair was up in the messy pony tail, not dressed to do any missions, just dressed to go 'out'. Her large gray wings held up loose on her back. A quiet huff and she threw the brush into the water. "There, all clean. Now you wanna tell me what's up?"

Tiki-Torch, There's something more than a glitch in the sheild.

Seiteki slowly stood up and glared at her dragon, sticking out her tongue. He followed in kind with a lizard like flicking of his long forked tongue. Jerk. Putting away the cleaning supplies, which she helped herself to. Being here since forever made her ignore half the rules skillfully. Standing up, she pulled the tie out of her hair and walked around until the water left her boots and her hands weren't wet anymore. "I don't understand why we have to go." She grumbled, glaring up at Whiro through her bangs.

We go because we're the eldest. Must protect little siblings.

Seiteki rolled her eyes, little siblings her ass. Probably all his damned children for all she knew. She only had one little sibling, and that one had the funniest looking dragon in this damn place. "You mean your children. Damn slut." Looking up at Whiro she stuck her tongue out at him again and geared up for a quick ride to the outside. It didn't take long, having been doing this for years, and she was up and on Whiro before she knew it, and then they were up and out.

Looking at the surroundings, the place that she could remember being more than wasteland was a little depressing. She could feel Whiro grumble underher and she patted a fleashy spot on his back. Hitting a few buttons on her protective helmet, thermal vision took over her normal keen eyesight. Of course, the only thing Seiteki really had to do was sit on her dragon while he flew around and found the problem.

Which looked like a snake. Two snakes? They landed and Whiro just looked over his shoulder at his pilot. She grumbled and got up, spread her large gray wings and landed less than gracefully, flapping her large wings to keep herself from falling over. Upon closer inspection, it was a snake, still warm juding from her helmet and the pretty colours.

"Come out, come out where-ever you are..."

Seiteki stamped her foot on the ground a few times, just incase it was an animal. Then again, the way the snake was cut was... Very smooth and straight. She could only wait and see.

He did not expect that anything would be coming, that there would be any alarms going off in his cozy little shelter. However on the little screen at his side there was a big blip approaching. That was a bad thing. That really wasn't a snake was it, perhaps one of the mutant relatives arriving. No no...this was a...this was ah...it couldn't be what he thought it could be...could it be what he feared it might be. What he was sure it probably was...

A dragon.

He would wait. Maybe they were just flying over. Yes. The humans rode the dragons didn't they? Dragons flew in and out of the city all of the time. Whew. That had to be it. He was safe, he had been safe, that was all. He was happy to know that they were just going to keep on flying.

Bionic crab slowly settled himself down onto the blanket, making a few strange sounds that sounded like bubbling of some sort, though it was electronic. It was more of a..."Brshhhhht" sound of some sort. He didn't know why he made that sound, but it was just...it sounded like he should make that noise because he was on land and breathing...living still.

Just one of those things left over from being a crab.

The screen caught his attention. The blip wasn't leaving. It was outside his home. Oh no. Oh this couldn't be good. This REALLY couldn't be good could it? He scuttled slowly up to the door and pushed it just ever so slightly to the side to look at what was out there. ICK!

The door was slammed automatically as he retreated back into his home just a little bit. Dung! DUNG DUNG DUNG! It was a dragon! It was a sea-damned Dragon! This wasn't right, this wasn't good. He could feel some vibrations in the ground, what was happening out there? Once more he moved the door just a little to look outside at the person now standing there. A person? One of those...those...

Controllers. Dragon Controller.

However he just stayed there watching the strange woman standing there, making careful sure to scan her. Alright. He could take her probably...but there was the other problem. A dragon. Yes, sure, he had himself a few tools for cutting metals and stuff, and the laser eye but...it could easily crush him in his home if he wanted to. Should he go out and investigate?

Ergh.

On the one hand, it was a dragon. An honest to-the-sea dragon. That was bad. Very bad. What if he kept trying to hide for that matter. They might get more angry and just kill him. Of course, survival instincts told him to run, just run and hide and go to any place that they couldn't find him, though he was...intelligent, and that part of him said he should do this rationally.

Slowly he scuttled out of his home, but not too far. Oh no. He was going to stay out of the dragon's sight. Thank the sea there was an overhang to keep things above from seeing him while he ah...sorta waited out on his porch. "The dragon must move thirty feet away from the domicile before I will even considering talking to you." He called out to the woman, staying right where he was. Bionic crab wasn't going to make any mistakes after all...

A dragon! Really? Seiteki tilted her head and listened to the chattering of the thing. Keen ears allowed her to hear that much, but when she reached out with her mind she got pictures.

Rather funny pictures, really. Dragons looking... Really scary actually, making Seiteki raise an eyebrow in question. The hell was this thing? Of course when it scuttled out a little bit, just out of view. She ducked down, opening her wings to keep her balance, looked under the little overhang and stared. Raising an eyebrow and just... Stared.

It was a crab.

A metallic crab.

It was kind of cute actually.  Whiro took a step forward to check it out, his large foot a little to close, about to duck his head down and look at the thing, seeing it vaguely from Seitekis head and wanting to see it for himself. Of course, that was when the little crab spoke up. "Oh hell." Seiteki sighed, standing and looking up at Whiro who sniffed his dissaproval and pouted at her. "You heard the bug." Seiteki looked at the crab again, shook her head and made a shooing motion with her hands. "You're thirty feet tall, Whiro, just go back a bit and lay down." Snapping her wings closed and fluffing them up in a dismissive manner, Whiro rolled his eyes and trotted off to lay down. 'If there's trouble I'm eating it.' He stated grumpily.

"Whiro, he's covered in metal, you don't want to eat it." She sighed, putting her hands on her hips a glance over her shoulder, tucking her hair behind her ear. 'I don't care. You'll wake me if there's trouble, Tiki-Tora.' and with that, he ducked his head down... And took a nap. "Gods you're lazy." Seiteki grumbled before leaning down, hands on her knees and her wings open slightly to cast shade over the ground before her.

"Okay little bug. You can come out now. Whiro looks scary but he's just weird and... Not scary." Seiteki nodded, feeling mildly stupid that she was talking to a crab. Could it think for its self? "Are you the one causing disturbances in the dome-thing?" Pursing her lips and moving her wings slightly, keeping balance so her legs wouldn't have to. Wavy black and blue hair hung over her shoulder, and bright near glowing blue eyes blinked at it. A crab.

What was the world coming to.

It didn't have the proper intelligence to really form much in it's mind. It was more in instinct mode at this time. Perhaps when he calmed down she might be able to hear thoughts instead of just seeing them. Right now he was thinking about running, hiding, getting away from the big scary dragon that no doubt wanted to eat him. That's what dragons did. They ate things smaller than themselves. He did too but a lot of the times he'd kill things bigger to eat! More practical after all. Then he could store things for later. That was the smartest thing to do.

The large dragon coming forward however made him suddenly scuttle sideways into the wall that held up his overhang. He meant to go backwards but he couldn't remember that he was able to. Uh oh! It was getting close! "Crustacean! Not insect!" Bugs were gross anyway. Well. They tasted good but they were still gross. He was no bug. He was a crab, crabs were not even close to being bugs. Were they? He wasn't sure.

"Eating me?! No!" Again he tried to run backwards but only managed to scuttle side ways into the opposing wall. Gah! Trapped! He couldn't get out! He couldn't go back could he! Gah! However, the dragon was suddenly moving away and settled down. Whew. This was good.

"Crustacean. Not insect." Slowly it moved out more into the open, walking forward slowly. "Yes, Bionic Crab Zero three needs to. The city has what I need to survive, but dragons live in the city, and dragons eat bionic crabs. They like our fleshy insides. So I live out here, going to the city for what I need. Many broken parts lately, needed to circumvent the dome quite a bit." He was honest, he had to be, he had no concept of lying. Things in the ocean didn't lie. Much. They tricked a little of course. Deceit with pretending to be other things through natural means, but since none could really communicate with each other, then it sort of meant that they couldn't lie.

Though Bionic crab had speech ability, he still didn't understand lying.

"You haven't been sent to deal with me have you? Bionic Crab can be helpful! Fixes things, shoots lasers, has complex scanners and a DNA tester, he...he can fix things!" The crab scuttled back and forth, pincers snipping anxiously. "Don't feed the dragon Three, he wouldn't be a good meal! Oh should have gone on a ship with the others and escaped into space. No dragons up there. Can't go up there." Bionic Crab slowly hunkered down on the spot, holding his pincers defensively at Seiteki. "Bionic Crab can defend himself!" Of course...Seiteki could just come around behind him and pick him up and face his front away from her, making him completely harmless.

((A post is a post is a post? DXX))

Tilting her head to the side, Seiteki sighed and crossed her arms over her chest, resting her chin on her hand and blinked. "Honey, a crab is a crustacean." She said simply, to a metallic crab. She'd lived far too long to be weirded out by anything, but this seemed to do the trick. A crab. Oi. She smiled anyway and leaned down so she she was sitting on her heels.

Smiling at him all the while, she watched as he explained what he was doing. Smart for a bug. Maybe she could keep him as a pet. "I don't think the Dragons would want to eat you. You're... very... hurty looking." She said as she eyed the pincers, lifting an eyebrow. Hmm, how to go about this? How on earth did you convince a metallic crab that you didn't mean any harm?

Seiteki stared off into space and shook her head. "Would you like to meet a dragon? I promise that if he even takes a nip at you, you can ... erm... Pincer me." Whatever the hell that would be. If he was like every other crab she'd met on the beach, she'd only have to get him from behind, but her wings posed a bit of a problem with that one, shuffling around on her knees wasn't the easiest thing when you had stiff flight feathers that protested bending little more than her on her knees.  Currently her large gray wings were held out, casting a shadow on the cute thing.

Aww, it could defend it's self. Damn thing was adorable.

((And a good post!))

What was she planning?

She was a Dragon Controller. Maybe she had come to really feed him to the dragon. Would they do that? The dragons were as smart as their controllers so...they probably wouldn't need to feed the Dragons. They could feed themselves. They always seemed to feed themselves on his kind. Evil creatures. With their weird shooting breaths and able to just swoop down on unsuspecting people. They were very mean creatures that way.

"Dragons ate a lot of my kind already! Dragons don't care what they eat, why would they?" Still he kept his eyes on her, his pincers at the ready to snip and snap at her if she tried to get close to him. He wasn't sure he wanted to trust her. She was a Pilot after all!

It let out a sort of gurgling squeak as it hunkered down even more into the ground to protect itself. It would fight, it would fight as much as possible. It couldn't go down easy. It wanted to survive, because it was a creature like any other! Just a whole lot cuter because...really. Metal crab.

"Pilot could be tricking Bionic Crab." For a moment it focused on her and noticed those wings of hers. What...she....wings ...Not dragon wings. Bird wings...bird...GAH!

"You're a giant bird!" Suddenly the crab turned itself around and started to head for its home. of course...the crab suddenly tried to run in four directions at the same time. Forward. Backward. Left. And finally right. The only thing that accomplished was falling on its belly with legs scrambling desperately. It was gonna be eaten by the two of them! They had come to have him as an appetizer!

For a little metallic bug-crab it sure was suspicious.

Seiteki sighed and looked over her shoulder to Whiro who was shuffling, on his belly, closer so he could hear them. 'Whiro...' She sent him the though and he feined sleep, giving a loud snorting noise before curling up tighter, opening a blank white eye to see what was going on before seeing Seiteki and quickly snapping it shut. 'Thank you.' Whiro simply snorted at her and Seiteki stood up and payed attention to the little crab thing.

"GIANT BIRD!?" Seiteki's mouth hung open. That was horribly insulting! Seiteki wasn't a damned bird. "I'm not a damned bird! GET BACK HERE!" Then it started to freak out. Oh no! It was short... fusing, whatever that was called? Freaking out? What would little metal crabs do?

Seiteki rolled her eyes and stepped over the little thing and picked it up from behind, quickly turning around so he faced his den. "Look, I'm not a bird." Because she didn't want to freak him out further Seiteki tucked her gray wings to her back, keeping them out of sight, of course they showed up in the shadow the sun caused.  Never in her life has she felt bad for freaking out a crab.

Then again, most of the ones she'd played with when she visited the oceans couldn't talk.

What the hell. Talking metal covered dragons, talking metal covered crabs. Seiteki cast her eyes towards the sky. "What's next? Talking metal covered plants?" Then she bit her tongue, no, that was bad, it might actually come into being. "Anyway Mr.Crab-thing, calm down. Whiro is a good boy, he won't eat you. I wouldn't dream of eating you." Still, she wouldn't let him face her, Seiteki held the little metal crab at arms length thankful for all that physical training, it wasn't exactly a light creature.

He could really only trust people from space.

People from space didn't own dragons. He had been made by a person in space. Oh he suddenly felt bad because that person in space was probably dead by now. It had been a hundred years after all. Oh no. His creator was dead then. Well, he could have expected as much, they really didn't last that long did they? Humans were so...fragile. Things like gravity and age killed them. That was just too bad.

It must have looked like he was short circuiting really. The way he was flailing about and trying to get away in all directions. It really didn't just work though. But now she was angry too! Gah! This was it then! She was going to eat him then! Why him! He had done nothing to her!

"Activating laser eye defence system!" His red eye began to glow as a charge ran through it until a beam shot out from it and scored the front of his den rather deeply. He did this a few more times until he found that he wasn't looking at her. Seas be damned! He had been caught! He thought for sure he could escape!

Why was she holding him?!

"I...we...you...are you really not going to eat me? Is he not going to eat me?!" It was panicked, legs moving every which way and his pincers were were clipping at the air, snipping and cutting, he wanted to get out of her grasp, away from her. He wanted to get back into his den where...it wouldn't even be safe since...the dragon was here...oh no! They knew about his hiding spot! That couldn't be good! He could never go back to it! Not now!

He'd have to make a new one somewhere then!

"Where are we going?! Where are you taking me! Please! I'm useful! I can repair things, and I don't require much! Just don't feed me to the dragons!"
