Physical Description
Bix’s hair is oddly cropped partly out of spite and partly because he thinks it looks good. It is several different lengths in different areas. In the back, where it is longest, his hair reaches the center of his back and is often pulled back or up out of his way. He has been told his face is ‘beautiful’ and ‘feminine’ comments he resents especially since they have been followed by ‘just like your mother’s’ on several occasions. His build is lean but muscular, that said he is even stronger than he looks. His skin pale and his eyes are a haunting periwinkle color. He also has a scar straight across the top of his right ear and a heart shaped scar on the side of his left thigh.
Personality
Bixente manages to pull off aloofness while still being pompous and a bad ass. That said he is also a flirt who enjoys making others uncomfortable and watching them squirm. He is often considered a tease though since he rarely actually follows up on these flirtatious actions and it is rumored that he is impotent. The truth is unless he is being roughed up, embarrassed to high hell, and / or practically tortured he can’t get it up. It’s a truth that very few are aware of and he doesn’t see need to inform most of. As a result he neither confirms nor denies the impotence rumor.
While he is highly masochistic and has some serious issues, he doesn’t particularly enjoy hurting other people. Watching people get all flustered and embarrassed is fun but inflicting pain on them? Nah. Still he won’t back down from a fight. As much as the thought of being forced to like someone’s boots is hot to him you better be prepared to FORCE him to because he won’t just roll over.
He simultaneously manages to be self-loathing and full of himself. He is also not a fan of people who don’t pull their own weight and are dependent on others.
Magic/Abilities
Bix uses metal chains as his main hunting weapon, regardless of their so-called impracticality. He is very adept at using them and prefers them over more conventional weapons such as spears and blades.
Other than his hunting abilities he is a weak telepath who ends up hearing the inner monologue of others whether he wants to or not. Most people know this about him since his mother had no qualms about informing others that her son was a disgusting, untrustworthy psychic even when he was only a small child.
Relationships
His mother is dead and he never knew his biological father. He is still close with some of his childhood friends (the ones he hasn’t managed to push away) and father figures; particularly one named Sendoa Marseilles, though he cannot stand most of his actual blood relatives.
History
Bixente grew up in a typical Teinari family and home. His father was never in the picture but that never really mattered. All he knew about his father was that the man was Aedolian. His relationship with his family was rocky at best; especially his relationship with his mother.
She beat him regularly, simply for being psychic, and those of his siblings who didn’t follow her lead simply ignored the situation entirely. Of course when she wasn’t hitting him she ignored him, so from an early age he began to equate the hitting and beating with love. And he loved her, but could never show her that, he was never worthy of her… never good enough to really be her child. After all, he was a psychic.
As he got older his desire to be loved by his mother became twisted. He didn’t want to be her son, he wanted to be her’s and when she would hit and choke him he’d get turned on. He began provoking her so she would beat him, and after he was bloodied and bruised he’d find a quiet place to masturbate.
One day when he was 14 one of his more recent father figures found him in just such a situation and made him explain everything. Sendoa was a strong, kind man and never even cared that Bixente could hear people’s thoughts. After a long discussion it was decided that Bix would live with him. Bix was surprised that this man wanted to stop his mother from hurting him, especially since everyone else had turned a blind eye for so long… but after reading Sendoa’s thoughts it seemed that he was sincere and had no idea that Bixente had been through all this. It was Sendoa who taught him to be self-sufficient, and how to hunt. He tried hard to instill in Bix a sense of self-worth and pride.
