Physical Description: Nik is a pretty girl, although it isn’t that ‘in your face’ sort of pretty. It’s a pretty that you notice, but you aren’t sure why. Her hair is a jet black color and is wavy, although she usually always has it pulled back away from her face. When let down, it falls to about her mid to lower back. Her skin is a tan color which makes her emerald green eyes much more noticeable. Her eyelashes are dark and long and frame her almond shaped eyes. Her nose is slim and gently slopes down the front of her face before coming to a soft point. Her lips are full, set just above a stubborn chin. Nik is of average height for a seemingly normal human girl. She’s about five feet and six inches tall. She’s not rail thin, but she’s not heavy either. She has a good body for a girl of 24.
Personality: Nik is usually a fun person to be around. She’s always one to crack a joke or two and loves a good laugh. She’s rarely ever sad or upset and she always tries to see the best in every situation. However, Nik does have a nasty temper which is easily set off. After letting off some steam and giving a few good yells, she’s usually back to her old self. She couldn’t exactly be considered deviant of the network or the government, but she tries not to pay much attention to them, which is hard living in Haviah. But, so far, she hasn’t had any serious run-ins with any government officials.
Weaknesses: Her temper has gotten her into a few tight spots. More often than not, it’s usually with male customers that are rude or unfriendly to her. She’s had her fair share of black eyes and bruises. Her other obvious weakness would be how easy it is to kill her. She’ll die just like any other human will.
Strengths: Nik’s most obvious strengths come from her ability to shape shift. She has much freedom while in cat form, but when she shifts back to a human, many of the feline characteristics carry over. Nik has amazing balance and is very agile. She’s usually jumping around the shop and the city and has no fears of falling or getting hurt. Her reflexes are quick as well and she has avoided many punches from her quick movements.
Likes: Nik’s a big fan of mechanics and big ships, obviously. She’s love to go to the space station one day and work there, but she knows that dream is a bit far-fetched. She has also been looking around for a ship or crew to join. She’s a big fan of gambling and she can drink with the best of them.
Dislikes: Above all else, Nik hates the network and the government. The whole idea of being watched by the military and controlled by them just doesn’t sit right with her. She’s not necessarily scared, but she does have a great hate for them. That, and she hates people that disagree with her on mechanics and stuff she knows.
Magic/Abilities: Nik is a shape-shifter and her form is a black cat. That’s about all of the magical ability she has. Nobody knows about this ability though.
Family: Nik was born to two cat shifters. She didn’t know her mother long, but it is rumored by family friends and those that knew her mother that Nik received her looks from her. Nik’s father could have been handsome in his younger years, but drinking, smoking, and all around bad habits ruined his looks, and eventually killed him.
History Nik was raised primarily by her father. She lost her mother when she was about five years of age. Her mother went out one night and never returned to their small home. She learned everything she did about shifting, and mechanics, from her father. Both of her parents had the ability to shift into the form of a cat as well, and just as Nik did and has done, kept it a secret. She quickly picked up the art of mechanics from her father and worked alongside him fixing up small aircrafts and occasionally a fightership. It wasn’t long before her father’s bad habits caught up with him, and he died. It wasn’t a tragic or unexpected death, and Nik didn’t have a hard time coping. She continued on her work with mechanics and kept her shifting a secret.
