Karen groused to herself, and to her black coffee, which she lifted for an unceremonious and scalding gulp as she rounded the immigrations office corner. The woman was practically seething with malcontent- her strides were long and angry, her thin, dark brows slanted at a hard angle over her narrowed eyes. Her already small mouth was pressed into a thin and bloodless line... when it wasn't occupied with drinking, of course.

"No fucking booze on the job.. tch." Her low, almost husky voice was a whisper of a snarl, only barely audible to her own ears. "And stupid check-ins every damn week. I can't even clock those damn wasted hours!" Sullen, the blond twisted her mouth into a wry expression... and then shook her head in a quick, aggravated gesture that made the feathery hair of her mohawk flutter. "Fucking coffee. I hate coffee." And she glared at the stuff, obviously blaming it for every last discomfort she was suffering.

Though off duty, she was still in uniform- though, in a laggardly fashion, she'd unbuttoned the first three of her stiffly-starched uniform shirt, spreading the sharp collar wide, exposing her tanned neck and throat to the brisk breeze. The sleeves of the shirt were shoved up (in too haphazard a fashion to be accurately called rolled up) to her elbows, and- to those, at least, with good standing with the local law- the badge on her breast was really the only concrete mark of her authority. So long as you didn't also count the ion-polarized cuffs dangling from her belt, and the weapon holster on her thigh.

So it was actually some weighty authority wandering around- at least here in the Lower Districts. But by all appearances, she was happy enough growling at her drink, walking back to her dingy excuse for a flat.

(don't mind if I jump in?)

Flicking her black hair over her shoulder, Aeris was almost sulking as she walked down the street.
Gripping the neck of her bottle of right whisky, she occasionally took a swing. Maybe it was the fact that she hadn't been accepting jobs for the past few weeks, either way, she was bored mindless.

She took another swing, wiping her mouth on her thick sleeve. She glanced down at her bodysuit, she ought to get a new one, the black was beginning to get a little boring, she'd been wearing similar ones for most of her time as a hunter, she never minded.

Shaking her head, she almost crashed head first into a blonde girl. Chuckling at her folly, she braced herself to stop from falling, before slurring an apology, "Sorry" she pointed to her drink, "Really ought' to stop drinking s'much" She grinned up at the other, taller, girl.
Noticing that she held a coffe in her grasp, heh... that must suck...

"Y'look bored" she said, lowering her bottle "Wanna take a ride?" she meant 'wanna cause trouble?' before she caught sight of her badge, changing the corse of her sentence at the last seccond. covering her mouth, before lowering her hand again, and grinning widely, she'd caused more than enough trouble for the cops around this part of town to make herself known.

With a flick of her hair, she made the guns strapped in various places of her legs known by swinging her hips slightly.
But if this girl wanted to cause some trouble round' Haviah, Aeris would all too happily comply.
