Her ears perked up when he sat up straight but she didn't get any closer or pounce. She was insanely curious. Her head tilted as he spoke to her. Deep in her mind she could understand it. The wolf that had emerged however couldn't understand the Common language. She barked again at him but quieter and walked a little bit closer. She got very close and walked forward her muzzle closer to him that her feet.

She stepped up to him and sniffed him a few times from far away before putting a paw on him. She tilted her head at him again. This was a more peaceful change. It could have been that before there had never been anyone like her that was close. Maybe all a werewolf needed was its pack? Something to ground it and keep it from lashing out? She hoped that this was true.

To say he was baffled would be an understatement. He had fallen silent, and really could only manage a rather dumb-looking stare. Well! He wasn't dead, nor in pain. He didn't get mauled, or, hell, even scratched. What the hell?

Not that he was complaining.

He also took it that the bark meant 'no', even if she was no saying that-- it still answered the question. He had yet to actually move, though he did visibly flinch when she reached out, slowly calming when he still seemed just fine.

"..." He waited to wake up, passed out at the bar counter or something. He had to be asleep. Or really, really drunk.

Then...a scent caught Idina's nose. One she wasn't familiar with. One that wasn't this new interesting scent. She growled to herself her muzzle turned away from the other wolf and her eyes flashed down at a light passing over them. It smelled like...dinner. She backed away slowly still able to keep some control. She had to get home, had to. She lifted her nose to the air trying to sniff out her path.

She looked back once at the other wolf. A sort of promise in her look that they would see each other again. Then she ran, fast and hard. She had to get home...to...where was home after all? Those people were...people, not like her, not like this monster that resided in her at all times waiting to break out. She sniffed the air wanting to remember who she really was, it kept falling away though into the back of her mind as she ran.

All she cared about now was food.
