Alaric had just planned on leaving the kiss at his lips smashed painfully up against T'liika's. But then the Royal had deepened the kiss and the hand on his cheek had felt kind of nice.

But the rage was quickly faded and Alaric was starting to feel awkward. But before he could pull back, his former mentor had grabbed T'liika and was pushing him away. Unprepared, Alaric stumbled back, blinking in surprise, "Remi...Wha-?"

Then Remi had punched the wall and Alaric's eyes rounded in shock and slight horror. There was blood on the wall. Remi's blood. Alaric was pretty sure he should do or say or think something. But it was all a little too much too fast for his brain to process.

Like, why was Remi so angry? He had just told him to fuck T'liika and then flipped out when Alaric kissed him. What did that even mean. Alaric really just wanted...Gabriel. Gabriel made things much easier, "...What...the hell?"

Then Remi gave him a dirty look and all Alaric wanted was to die. Remi didn't want him. Probably didn't even like him anymore. He could feel his eyes burning and he fought the tears. He was not going to cry. He was a Pilot Echo. So what if the man he had been in love with for years was disgusted by him now.

He just needed to turn that part of himself off. Disconnect. And then fine Gabe and make the blond cheer him up. Nothing a some good old escapism couldn't fix.

Okay, now Remi crossed a line. This wasn't something he could ignore. "Pilot Remi Talbotte," his voice full of authority now. "Your behavoir is out of line. It is also unacceptable to be venturing through the halls drunk and half naked. Tomorrow, instead of reporting in for work, you'll report to the janitor. You'll be scrubbing bathrooms all day. I will be checking in on you through out the day." He nudged Sin to inform Remi's dragon of this. He tried to be as leniant as he could get away with. Little did he know that Trance would manage to get himself into trouble and end up having to scrub toilets as well.

He frowned a little at the blood on his shoulder. He'd have to wash that out soon or it'd stain, and just be a pain. He'd think about it later. Right now it looked as though Alaric was going to have a mental break down. "Alaric. I think, perhaps,  I should escort you back to your room."

Alaric knew that to some degree Remi deserved to be in trouble. But he didn't really like hearing it. It was his fault that this had gotten out of hand. Remi was drunk, he knew that. And had let Remi being a jerk, which he often was, get the better of him. He should have just let it go.

Everything had gone so badly because he couldn't keep his temper. It shouldn't have surprised him that Remi didn't want him. Probably was wishing Alaric would go get laid and leave him alone.

He didn't want to deal with this. He just wanted to find Gabriel and get his butt kicked in some fighting game because he couldn't hold the controller very well. And just....not think about it. Remi probably wouldn't even remember in the morning.

Everything just felt numb anyway. He glanced down at T'liika and shook his head, "Thank you...for the offer. But I think I am...going to go find Gabriel."

Oh noes. Alaric was trying to escape. Though he couldn'y honestly blame the poor guy. However, he was not going to allow this chance to by him by.

"Then at the very least allow me to walk with you while you find him." He took Alaric's clawed hand to gently hold between his own, as a form of concern for the younger Pilot. "I would feel much better knowing that you made it to your destination without further incident."

Despite the fact that Alaric was rather needy for physical contact for the most part, not really getting more then the occasional hugs with Remi and cuddling with Gabe, he was so used to people not touching him that on some level, strangers touching him made him nervous.

And T'liika was still a stranger and Alaric was a little bit too shell shocked to handle it right now. So he carefully tugged his clawed hand away, not wanting to accidentally hurt the Royal, "Thank you. For the offer. But...really. It's okay."

Alaric just wanted to hide in Gabby's room and not think. He felt embarrassed and hurt and wanted to be with someone he was familiar with. Not that T'liika wasn't quite nice. Alaric just wasn't in a place to handle that right now.

Okay, now it was time to back off. He didn't want to seem too pushy after all. "Alright, as long as you're sure." He gave Alaric a soft smile. "Once you've had time for things to settle down, come find me and I'll treat you for coffee."

Reminding Alaric of the dinner plans was probably not the best idea right now. So instead the offer for coffee was the next best plan. Allowing Alaric to decide when he was ready and feeling not so out of it, before coming to talk to T'liika. Ideally he would have prefered to have taken the taller pilot back to his place and helped comfort him, but perhaps another time.

"It was truly nice to meet you, and I do hope that we can become close friends," or something more.

Alaric nodded mutely, glad that T'liika was backing off. He seemed very nice, but Alaric needed some time to cope with what had just happened. That...Remi had said those things. And...glared at him like that.

"Thank you." He gave another small nod, then turned and headed off, seeking out his best friend. He needed some serious love right now.

He watched Alaric toddle off, then went on his own merry way. He wondered what else he could get up to this night.
