Some things are best left unseen (Open!)

She really regretted this.  Poking her nose around in a place that reeked so foully of death and wrongness, what had she been thinking?  Whatever it had been, it wasn't very bright.  Because poking around in this area had woken that thing up.  She hadn't intended to.  She'd been minding her own business, wandering around between the shells of old buildings, abandoned long before she'd even been born.  The vision that had led her here was so enticing, she hadn't been able to resist following it.  People and animals, some that she'd never seen before, going about their business amongst these very buildings.

But she'd poked her nose into the wrong building, and it had objected to Mrixi's presence.  She hadn't smelled the difference between the outside and the inside of that building until too late.  Whatever it was, it was far too big for her to fight.  And it looked like some kind of reptile, all fangs and claws and scales and spikes.

And so, she was cowering behind a broken down wall, looking like a craven pup, while she listened to it crash around the other buildings.  Hopefully it would go back to sleep soon.  Or find something else to eat.  Cuz she really didn't feel like being eaten.

T3-J15 had been catiously searching the buildings in this area looking for any supplies that might be usefull. Mostly water or ammo, 'but who knew what could be usefull untill you have a use for it' Or so T3 had come to say.

As walked out onto the roof of a two story building that was most likely a dwelling at some point in it's history. His armor automaticlly adjusted to the brighter outside by switching from a pattern of dark browns and black, to a pattern that was made of light tans and white. 'Well maybe I'll be able to camp here for awhile.' T3 thought recalling the last set of abondend buildings he'd come across. Well, needless to say that 'adventure' is why the T3 had his rifle out and was taking the better part of a day just to search three buildings so far.

It was at this point that T3 heard something roar. Imeadiatly switching to his sonar vision mode in order to track the source. Once a direction had been determined T3-J15 rushed off in the direction it came from across the rooftops. It didn't take long for T3 to get close enough to not need sonor anymore, so he switched back to normal spectrum light. 'It certainly sounds big and angry.' T3 thought as he layed down and inched to the edge of the building.

When he saw what it was that he was following he activated his cloak emitter as fast as he could, this thing was one of  the most aggressive creature he'd ever seen and that's saying something. Switching through various vision modes he stopped in infrared as he saw what must have been the source of the large creatures aggitation. T3-J15 began caculating chance of success of an attack against the larger creature as he started charging his rifle to the highest setting it had, as well as prep his holo projectors for launch.

When it became obvious that the larger creature was closing in on the smaller. The T3-J15 executed operation help the little one. Four of his projectors launched into the air emitting light's and high pitched screeching and flashing random blinding flashes in an effort to confuse, or better yet, scare the beast. However, he held off on shooting it untill he could see the reaction of the little beast. He might need to cover it in case this light show had no affect on the bigger one.

She thought for a moment she was having another vision, all the lights and noise and confusion.  That is, until she realized she could hear the monster shrieking in fury.  So, it could see the ...whatever all that confusion was, too.

And speaking of the monster, it turned away from Mrixi, and started after the source of the noises.   Dropping to all fours, it let out a shockingly loud scream, and stood absolutely still, listening.  Echolocation?  No wonder the wolf wasn't able to get away.  The thing growled in frustration, and let out another piercing scream, trying to pinpoint whatever had interrupted its hunt.

With the beast standing still, it was actually possible to get a good look at the brute.  It looked something like a cross between an alligator and a t-rex, the head and jaws were absolutely huge compared to the rest of the body.  And strangely, it didn't seem to have any eyes.  Perhaps that was why it was relying on its hearing.

She too was trying to figure out what had just happened, but whoever or whatever had just saved her tail had her gratitude.  As long it wasn't planning to eat her.

((Sorry about the wait))
