Wasn't there a cave entrance here? (mdu_ntr)

Louhi looked around her in confusion. Nothing was looking familiar and she was starting to get nervous. Nothing smelled right either, though fortunately, the wind was calm for the moment so she wasn't directly inhailing toxic dirt-- though if it would be toxic to her was unknown. She'd shown resistance to other toxic substances before.

As for what she was, it was hard to say. She looked like a pale human girl with eyes that changed color. Currently, they were a worried, storm-cloud greyish blue as she tried to find something she recognized.

Her walking stick was clutched tightly in her hand. Her leg had been badly broken as a younger child and had never quite set up right-- technology during the witch hunts on earth was limited at best.

She still hadn't figured out 'when' she was exactly. She'd barely learned people had powers before learning the hard lesson of never ticking one of them off. She wiped the sweat from her forehead with her sleeve, looking around for a hill where she might be able to see the way she needed to go.

She still wondered how actually making contact while sparring to learn fighting was such a terrible thing. Wasn't she supposed to get better and make it past his blocks? It seemed not. She heaved a sigh and leaned on her stick to take the weight off her leg.

She was probably the only person in this world to be wandering around in a heavy homespun brown linnen dress and leather shoes worn to a sad state of disrepair. She had noticed that the other people around her did not dress like anything she was used to, but then considering she kept getting flung through time, she didn't have a chance to get used to any one time period. Hopefully he would leave her as she was. She had no friends here, but there were others who lived in caves and stayed out of the burning sun also, so it felt less lonely than before.

A sharp crack sounded behind her as a bizzare beast that looked something like a boar with quills came out of the wasted forest and eyed her a moment.

Louhi stiffened, her body fading to a transparent state as she shifted the stick to prepare to use it as a weapon.

The boar charged for her, squealing and braying angrily as he bowled her over.

Louhi tried desperately to fend off the creature with her staff, but she was convinced she was going to be eaten or gored to death and in a panic, she tried to punch it, gouge it's eyes, anything she could thing of to get it off of her. Abrubtly, she felt a shock shoot through her body and the boar on top of her exploded as if hit by lightening.

Trembling in terror, she slowly sat up and began looking for her walking stick, ignoring or pushing aside the bits of boar that seemed to be everywhere. She had quills imbedded in her skin in quite a few places, but here was not the place to deal with those. She needed to get back underground, particularly before the sun came out in full force.
