{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION}
The first thing to notice about Dae is his eyes; they're a vivid green-teal, such so that in the right light and in the right mindset you could swear they were glowing. The sclera are darker and greyer than usual, but it's only really noticeable in the right light, of which the lower levels get very little. These features, combined with a predilection for black eyeliner, leaves his gaze utterly hypnotizing. Which is kind of how he likes it, as having a reputation for always watching tends to help discourage bad behavior from the neighbors. C;
His hair is a darker sort of grey, which he wears long and tangled in several braids. A few pieces are dyed a deep teal, though these are in the midst of fading away. The whole mess of it, when let down, easily reaches his ribcage at its longest parts. When he's working, however, he at least pulls it all back in a secure knot, despite typically complaining that the action results in headaches by the end of the day.
Unsurprisingly, without much sunlight, his already fair skin is rendered especially pale, with a few scars of varying degrees of freshness. The nastiest of scars fall largely around his collarbone and shoulders, where his flesh ends and fully integrated bionic arms begin, the whole system connecting between his shoulder blades. He's not shy about the arms, and often stashes little things like cigarettes in built in compartments along the forearm.
{PERSONALITY}
Tenacious, irreverent, playful and an utterly unrepentant flirt, Kosen might not seem like he takes much of anything seriously. Underneath the class-clown persona, however, is an utter workaholic who will spend every waking second on the job if he's not told otherwise.
Fun Facts!:
- Is utterly fucking terrified of flying. Heights don't bother him if he knows he's stable, but the second his feet aren't in contact with solid structures he becomes the physical manifestation of TENSION.
- Despite being a huge flirt with literally anyone who breathes, he only ever engages sex workers and will politely skirt any reciprocated interest from anyone else.
- Loves trashy pop music completely unironically and will sing along. Badly.
- Has like a dozen superstitions.
{SPECIAL ABILITIES}
Psychic! Though it was never enough to be useful to the military, along with several other reasons that prevented him from being drafted into Candidacy. "It's a long, weird story and honestly my attention span ain't that great," as he would say.
- His psychic prowess largely involves luck; he just instinctually knows how to make things work out for him, if he puts his mind to it enough. He doesn't get anything like a clear picture or vision, more an in-the-moment feeling, like following written steps in a recipe as you do them.
- The influence also affects others in close proximity to him, resulting in a sort of suggestive state that gently coaxes others to actions that might better benefit Kosen, which has... run him into relationship problems in the past.
{RELATIONSHIPS}
No family to speak of.
An estranged boyfriend, who Kosen abruptly left when he ran off to Haviah about eight years ago. He's never told anyone about this, or even why.
Multiple acquaintences, but never anyone terribly close.
{HISTORY}
Kosen was a well-respected cop in a small Aedolian city, where he also lived with his boyfriend of two years. For reasons unknown, one day Kosen requested an official transfer without consulting anyone he knew, and in the middle of the night left for Haviah, where he now works the lower levels as a plainclothes officer.
