Entering the Syn nightclub, Warhawk ignored the constant sexual overtures that came his way. 'Not interested.' he mused, turning his onto the skimpily clad woman. Watching her backup as sudden fear danced over her eyes, he went up to the second story and took a seat in a booth. Bringing his knee up to rest an elbow on it Warhawk scanned the dance floor. "The night hides pain, but it doesn't take it. It makes the lie that you tell yourself easier to accept. Even when they claw out your soul and shred it to pieces." he murmured softly.
Grabbing a drink from the passing waitress he sighed heavily. "Broken. Unknown. Unwanted. Lost. Alone. Hurt. Sad. A ghost in a different universe and alway apart from the crowd." Warhawk added to himself. Taking a long draft from his drink, he closed his eyes to block out painful memories of a past unasked for. Leaning back he lets the heavy bass numb him to inattention and blankness.
