Some dragons fit IN the ATC! (For you Draccy!!!!)

Aedolis.

Here because...because.. .he had to be? It was a matter of honour perhaps. He hadn't been caught per se, but it was hard not to notice that a half dragon with one arm was SOMEHOW managing to open doors without touching them. He had wanted to get recognized, but he really didn't feel like going right in and signing up. Sure he had given a  little chase as well, the wings helped because...well...he could fly. They couldn't. Until they got into their hovering vehicles and came after him. Then they could fly.

After that he ended up in one of those vehicles on his way to some placed called the Advanced Training Complex. The ATC. It would be his new home, and it would be the place where he would have to learn and become a Pilot. Because he was psychic. Apparently they wanted any psychic, weak or powerful. He wasn't sure he was ALL that powerful...most of it was being taken up by one power but...that was about it. Maybe some surface thoughts intruded into his own once in a while, thoughts not his but...that was about it.

Normally one wouldn't take notice of a new candidate being shown in through the ATC since that was nothing really special. Why would it be? Of course, most candidates weren't...well...half dragon. Six foot two with large wings and a moderate build, stunning gold eyes and acidic green eyes with silver tips just sort of stood out. He wore strange clothes to say the least. The shirt was little more than just a bunch of scarves and scraps patched together in a rather intricate looking shirt. It had to be designed to button up, or in this case, tie up with twigs on strings. He used whatever he could.

He had lived in a cave for eight hundred years. They didn't have many shops there to buy things. Well, of course...there were no shops at all.

He made do though.

He wore no shoes either, mainly because his feet were covered with brilliant red and gold scales. Kinda pretty, and not actually that dirty. How he managed that was beyond anyone. A large scaly tail flicked behind him nervously as he walked, his reptilian eyes ever watchful. Alright. He could do this...where was he supposed to go? The strange candidate held a Data pad in one arm...well...both arms but...alright. One could see he had a second arm coming out of his shirt but it wasn't a normal fleshy arm. It looked almost like energy. Indeed it was psychic power. Strong enough to materialize a phantom limb for his lost limb.

It was very odd to see. This creature almost flinching as people moved out of his way or looked at him. It had been....a very long time since he'd been around any intelligent life. Eight hundred years to be exact. Well maybe not exact of course...but still. It had been around there.

"Okay Draygovi...your room...your room...uhh...oh this can't be good. I'm supposed to meet with my...Pilot? Oh god what if they made a mistake and I'm actually a dragon that someone is gonna ride. Ugh they wouldn't do that..." At least he hoped to anyone that was true. He didn't much feel like having to carry someone. Of course reading more of the data pad did tell him he was a candidate to become a pilot.

That raised an interesting thought.

Would he be riding a dragon too and then...that was kinda wrong. That was like hopping onto your cousin's back and riding them around the city. That would feel really awkward no doubt the first few weeks. Finally he found his room with the...sparse conditions. However for Draygovi this was like being spoiled. He had a bed of moss in the cavern and had no place to put his clothes. There on his bed was a nice new grey uniform for him but...as he picked it up and looked at it carefully he sighed.

It wouldn't work. However, he had heard about this place and he wasn't going to complain. Quickly he got to work. Sitting down on his bed he began to bite into the back of the clothes. He had to make room for his tail and for his wings which would be a bit more difficult. However he worked quickly and changed into it. Alright. It kinda worked. The shirt at least fit and the pants weren't getting in the way of his tail.

Okay, now he just had to wait. He stood there in the middle of the room facing the door. Waiting. Ugh. This was going to be the killer part wasn't it? Just waiting for this...this...oh great he forget his new mentors name didn't he? And you shouldn't think that either since everyone was a psychic, no doubt good at mind readings. Ick! He quickly looked at the data pad for the name. Seiteki, and she was a...well she. Alright. Commander? General? Admiral? What DID he address her as. Oh. Pilot Seiteki. That made sense.

Alright. Pilot Seiteki.

Well, let's hope first impressions went over smoothly. He had to do this for dragon kind. To serve Aedolis and protect it.
