Commissions and Conversations (BLUE! 8D)

(1/2) > >>

Nix:
It wasn't a way that Torsten normally chose to spend his days, and actually despite living in Aurora his whole life he couldn't really recall being at one before, but today he was roaming around a theme park. He was partially trying to get a feel for the place since he had been commissioned to make a sculpture for the entrance, and partially watching the weird people that inhabited the park. He chuckled to himself thinking how weird they all were for going on rides to get a rush of adrenaline or whatever other masochistic reason they had for doing so. He was already high and therefore had no reason to go on a large machine that could kill him.

Though he did have to admit that the calamity of screams, laughter, and general chatter was somewhat amusing. That and the various smells and colors everywhere. It was odd that he finally got a commission for something left entirely up to his own artistic sense, nothing specific, the kind of job he'd dreamed of doing cause everyone could see it... and he had no idea what to sculpt. After walking around like a lonely, weird creep for about twenty minutes he sat down on a bench and pulled a sketchbook out of his bag, trying to at least make an effort at designing something for the place before leaving.

Blue:
Lonely weird creepsters were just what Chase loved to find~! Especially when they were creepering around places full of kids - that just added a whole new level of creepy to their already creeper status. So when his blue eye spotted one lonely weird creeper in the amusement park, he couldn’t help but happily prance along after him! No matter what happened, it was bound to be interesting - at least his logic said so!
Oooo and it looked like the man was an artist to boot! Weren’t artists usually strange folk? Bonus points!!

Without warning, there was a warm pressure on Torsten’s back - one young man had taken to leaning on him, gazing over his head at the drawing pad on the artist’s lap. Baw, nothing interesting on it yet…but that would probably change, right?
“What’re you gonna draw hmm?”

Nix:
Torsten had been so busy staring at the blank page in front of him that he didn't even notice the other until that warm pressure was on his back. He was a bit startled but calmed down relatively fast for having a stranger leaning on him.

"I'm trying to design a sculpture for the park entrance, any ideas?" He didn't know the guy but anyone at the park was good enough to ask an opinion from. He looked over his shoulder at the strange looking guy with an eye patch and everything. Rather interesting to look at actually...

Blue:
Since neither of them seemed to particularly mind Chase’s choice of perch, he continued to lean comfortably on Torsten, as if the man was not in fact a complete stranger. Then again…he’d likely have persisted no matter how the artist reacted…
Amusingly enough though, his current target seemed to be enviously calm about the entire situation - he even asked for Chase’s opinion!
What a wonderfully different person! He’d picked a good one~!

Grinning brightly down at Torsten, Chase wasted no time in answering him.
“Weeeell…mascot characters are always a good choice! Gotta put a face to the name, right? If they don’t have one, you can make one up! It can be aaaaaaaaaanything~!”
With the last sentence, which was of course said in a very sing-song voice, he leaned forward onto Torsten as if to accentuate his point.

Nix:
So the eye patch guy just leaned on him more. Oh well it wasn't a big deal, people leaned on statues quite often and Torsten wasn't any better than the statues. "I don't think they have mascots here, that's why they said I could do anything I wanted for the sculpture..." Maybe the sculpture should have an eye patch?

He started to sketch a cute little fluffy creature with butterfly wings, an eye patch and a big smile. "Something like this maybe?" He asked looking back at the stranger.

"Face and name huh? What is your name then?"
