[Jaxon's day passes by quickly and busily from then on-- he barely has an opportunity to reflect on their messaging. There are few people he keeps in touch with regularly, but he feels himself strangely itching to talk to Toori once or twice. He ignores those urges, being much too busy on board the White Thunder, helping the crew. The Captain decides to make a stop on a space port between Edanith and Cancer, and they spend some time unloading cargo, dealing business, and eating, before taking off once more. Jaxon doesn't have a moment to himself again until he is in his private quarters on the ship, freshly showered and exhausted. He reaches for his communicator and argues with himself quickly about texting Toori. He does so anyway.]

He receives the next message while working on some new blueprints, and the chirp of his communicator almost makes him fall out of his chair.]
