June drummed his fingers upon the chair cushion and shifted in his seat.  He tapped his foot. What was taking so damn long here?  His goal was to sit here and put as little effort as possible into this whole affair and here this kid was dragging it out.

It took the kid long enough to get over here and now he was just standing in front of him like he had no idea what do do.  "Take for-fucking-ever why don't you."

He obviously wasn't going to move, so June rolled his eyes and got up to give him a quick kiss on the lips.  Gods above. It was just a kiss.  The way some of these kids acted you'd think they were gonna fuck in public or something.

He waved Oliver away.  "We're done."

Fin gave Arrow a comforting squeeze, trying to keep the energy up. Oliver's painful awkwardness and June's hostility was a bit of a damper on the party mood. But her was hoping it would pick up a little on the next spin.

"Alright! Next spin! Go Oliver!"

The blonde girl sitting beside her asked if either she or the weird guy had their eye on someone. Anemone assumed that the two were friends. She glanced away, shaking her head. "Not really..."

Her eyes drifted back to the game, but not for long. Anemone's gaze had dropped quickly before that other candidate and Eli kissed. Twice, apparently, from the giggles and chatter she heard. Bet the bottle is rigged or something... but she immediately clamped down on that thought, flushing blue along the nape of her neck, and she pulled her jacket collar higher to hide it. It wasn't true, obviously, as the bottle moved on from them in the next spin. Anemone glanced up for just a second as the bottle was spun 'round n 'round once more. After Eli landed on some rowdy impatient guy, he spun it and the bottle stopped on Oliver, the awkward and shy guy whom Ane'd nearly run into on the way in. He seemed as awkward and shy as ever, five minutes hadn't changed that, his movements reluctant and slow. Poor guy.

She then resumed picking at the couch thread, and figured that eventually, if she was persistent enough, she'd be able to rip a hole open in the cushion, and be able to see the stuffing inside. Then again, that probably wouldn't go over well... so she stopped picking at the thread.

Well, that was quick. And he was still alive. Oliver wasn't entirely expecting that part, but it was a nice perk. His face however, was still incredibly flush and his heart rate was through the roof. It was not because of the person he kissed, gods no, that June seemed like a complete and utter jerk. Despite his own thoughts being filled with comforting fluffy bunnies, he couldn’t help but let that get under his skin. Especially how the other candidate simply waved him off. Was that a little bit of dejection?

Oh. Right. It was his turn to spin. Here he went, all over again. He took a deep breath, nodding to the encouragement. Okay, that wasn't entirely, unfounded. He didn't die, or collapse in a panic attack. It was a start. It wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. Not much of a surprise since most things weren't.

"A-all right." He said and spun the bottle. It landed on Arrow.

When the bottle landed on Arrow, Fin winced a little. He hadn't really wanted to watch Arrow kiss some random person, but, well, it was just a game and not a big deal. Plus, Oliver was, well, not much of a threat.

Unwrapping his arm from Arrow's shoulders, he gave her a light nudge forward, "Go on babe. Kiss the man."

...Oh gods.

Arrow stared at the bottle and her face went several shades of red when she realized it was pointing at her. Slowly, she stared up at Oliver and gave a nervous smile. Well, of all the people she could have gotten, this wasn't so bad. He seemed about as awkward and mortified as she was.

At Fin'a encouragement and nudge, she swallowed hard and rose to her feet. Oh jeez. Okay. Didn't have to be anything big or anything. This was just a game. Didn't mean anything. It could be quick and painless and platonic! Heart racing, she came to a stop in front of the other boy and couldn't quite meet his eyes. She'd never really talked to him before, though she'd seen him around, but now she wished she had because why did their first interaction have to be so awkward and what if he hated it and didn't want to kiss her though that didn't matter anyway but it would be nice, at least, if the other person wasn't positively dreading the contact!

Slowly, she raised her eyes and tried to ignore the fact that everyone was watching. "Um, heya." She brushed some hair out of her face. "Nice to meetcha. I'm, uh, I'm Arrow." And then, quick as she could, she leaned up and pressed a quick, chaste kiss to his lips, cheeks burning.

"No? No one?" Rachel said, looking at Anemone. With a grin, she nudged the girl. "Reeeally? There's a lot of cuties here. Me, I kinda wanna kiss that kid." She nodded at Oliver and gave him a wink. Whether or not he'd see it, well, it didn't really matter. "He's adorable."

Gods, he felt awful for this. The girl who the bottle had landed on seemed as awkward and unenthusiastic about the whole game as he was. Well, perhaps not not entirely coming close to his anxiety and his having to slip into thoughts about fluffy bunny rabbits to get through it all. Then again, he couldn't read minds - scratch that -  he didn't know how to, to his knowledge she could be thinking about bunnies. Oliver relaxed a tiny bit at that possibility. And by tiny bit, he meant tiny bit.

He felt he needed to apologize, for more than likely sending off all those negative vibes he was lightly warned about earlier, for the bottle landing on her and for also being, well, Oliver. It was just pathetic enough to do.

"I-I'm sorry." He said and of course he couldn't forget the stuttering! The saving moment was at least the kiss was quick and far less painless than his own internal dialogue. And now it was Arrow's turn to spin the bottle.

"Good luck." He muttered quietly before returning to his seat, it wasn't a confident good luck. It might have been better if he hadn't said that. Now the failing moment was that he had heard Rachel's comment, even his ears were burning with embarrassment and he didn't have enough sense not to catch her eyes when she winked at him. Why couldn't he just stop existing?

"It's okay," Arrow said, giving a quiet, relieved laugh. That wasn't so bad! Quick, painless, and made it was made all the easier by the fact that Oliver was just as nervous and embarrassed. Maybe even more so!

"And thanks," she added, and picked up the bottle. Hoo boy. This was the part she was nervous about. But, taking a deep breath, she gave the bottle a spin.

It landed on Col.

The fact it landed on Col was a little less thrilling than Oliver. Col seemed antisocial, but was rather good looking. But Fin kept a smile on his face and gave Arrow another gentle nudge, "Go on. Gotta kiss the guy."

"Yeah! Go Col! You get to kiss a hottie! Niiice!" Eli beamed, giving Col a thumbs up. He wouldn't mind kissing anyone here honestly. They all seemed really cool. There was even a dude with cat ears. That was crazy!

Col crossed his arms and squared his shoulders.  He didn't move.  Wasn't going to.  Arrow could come to him if she wanted, but he wasn't dignifying this idiotic bullshit by participating.

Errr...did she have to? Oliver was one thing, but Col just looked...hostile. Arrow shot Fin a nervous look and wished she could have gotten someone else. It wasn't like she wanted to make out with anyone, but it was kind of awkward approaching someone who looked so irritated.

But the faster it was over, the better, right?

Taking a deep breath, she made her way over to Col, stopped in front of him, and shot him an apologetic look. "Um, sorry," she muttered, right before she leaned in fast and brushed their lips together, barely touching him.

Col turned his head at the last second, so she got more of his cheek instead of his lips.  Afterward, he remained seated, exactly as he had been before.  "I'm not moving," he said.  They could spin for him if they wanted, but he wasn't moving.

"Why? What's the problem?" Fin tilted his head, a little confused, "It's just a game. Think of it as a bonding experience. You might still be a Gracie, but you will have to learn to do that eventually. Better start now. Plus, I've met the dragon that ordered this. You do not want his punishments."

Sagittarius sighed. The atmosphere in the room was... unsettling and stiff and unpleasant. It was all a game. Why couldn't everyone lighten up? She thought about this for a moment before voicing the exact thought out loud:

"It's all a game. Why can't everyone lighten up?"

"Awww, come on Col. What's wrong? You have a lot of negative energy going on. That's really bad for the flow of chi through your body you know." Eli smiled at this friend, trying to fix the now heavy and uncomfortable atmosphere that was settling, "Do you want me to spin for you?"

Col's only response was to spare Fin one brief, dry glare.  "Didn't ask you."

He shrugged at Eli.  That guy made his head hurt.  He didn't even know what the hell he was going on about, chi and whatever.

"Aw, come one, don't be so gruff." Eli smiled again, turning to face the rest of the group, "He's just shy is all. Here, I'll spin for him."

With a quick spin and a slight telepathic nudge, Eli made the bottle land on him, "Well! What a surprise!" Leaning down, he planted a kiss on Col's cheek when the other candidate turned his head.

"My turn again!" Hopefully moving past Col's grumpy tantrum would help get the party mood back and he spun the bottle, where it came to a stop on Anemone, "Hey! Awesome! See what a good attitude gets you Col? Kissing pretty girls!"

Anemone had been rather content picking at the couch thread. Well. Not really, but that's what she continued to tell herself, keeping her eyes on her hands as she listened in on all the chatter from around the circle of couches. It seemed people were becoming quite reluctant on playing, or nervous, and it was giving the room a bad atmosphere. Ruining the game. The candidate Arrow seemed almost as nervous as Oliver, and then Col just seemed to not give two shits, and Eli ended up having to spin for him. Though really, everyone could tell it was just a way to get the game moving along once more.

What Anemone hadn't expected was, since it was Eli's turn once more, that when he spun the bottle... it would land on her. She blinked, uncomprehendingly staring at it for a few seconds, while Eli said something about kissing pretty girls. Huh? Her? What? She was pretty? No. Wait. He complimented every girl like that. Stupid Ane. "Wait? What? Oh. ... Oh! OH." Oh. Jeez. Shut. up. mouth. Stop sounding like an idiot!! AUGH. Her wide eyed gaze flicked from the bottle to Eli. Wait. Stop. It was okay. Just a game. A silly game. Despite that, a deep blue blush spotted her cheeks and colored her already blue-tinged ears. Breathe. Don't forget to breathe. It's alright. It's okay. Yeah.

Anemone rose from her seat, feeling her palms start to get sweaty. Why'd it have to be him? Not that it mattered. It was just a game after all. A simple peck, and then it was over, and she could go back to her seat. She felt her face burn, and willed that away. Right. Okay. Legs, start moving. She walked over to Eli slowly, trying to appear confident and happy. What was there to not be happy about? She was happy, actually. Incredibly so. Just alot more nervous then was probably necessary. Um. Right. Focus. Stop looking like an idiot in front of all the freaking candidates, you loser. "Hey, Eli." She gave him a hesitant smile. At least she hadn't stammered, or squeaked. At least there was that. Stop blushing, you idiot. Stop. Just stop. Anemone prayed she didn't electrocute him by accident or something. That would be bad. Horrible. Oh. Jeez. Please don't accidentally electrocute him.

"Hey Ane." Eli stood up and smiled at the girl. It was pretty cool that he got to kiss her, he had been wanting to for a while, but there hadn't really been the chance earlier. Wrapping one arm around her, Eli pulled her close, the other hand cupping her cheek.

Then he leaned down and kissed her, no quick pecks for Eli. This was a real kiss and he was hoping she would open her mouth enough that he could use tongue.

Anemone had been expecting a quick peck, as most of the kisses before had been between the candidates. So naturally, she was more then a little surprised when his arm went around her, pulling her towards him, while his other hand curved against her face. She felt stupid and awkward and ugly, certain the strawberry lollipop from earlier had stained her mouth, her hair was probably a mess, she should've put on perfume- all these inane thoughts ran through her mind in a jumbling succession. Her own hands hung at her sides uselessly, unsure. Face tilted upwards, she watched him lean in. Er... It seemed to her this wasn't going to be just a quick peck on the lips, then. Alright. Okay. Don't mess this up. No big deal. It's fine.

Oh...
Ane's eyes shut momentarily at the contact, one of her hands drifting up to grip his elbow. Involuntarily, or perhaps voluntarily, she leaned upwards into the kiss. She hoped she was doing this alright. Her mouth softened under his, lips opening under the gentle pressure, and her other hand itched to do something, touch him, run through his hair, or- Oh. Woah, wait. Hold your horses, Ane. Wtf? Calm down girl. Its spin the bottle. This was unlike her. Very much so. Her face was burning, as the fact that they were in a room with people. Lots of other people. So. Right. She... needed to do something, after this. Spin. Yeah, she needed to spin the bottle again. But honestly, she didn't really want to, quite content with this right here. And she smothered that thought, hoping it no one else overheard it.
