2. What does it look like? Silennian "personal effects" are compact affairs often made to serve as clothing as well. The compact devices Silennians make were usually made by the person who uses them or by their parents, and the workmanship varies. Each is tied closely to the individual: the only thing an individual silennian owns is what he or she can wear or carry. Any member of the species will go to great lengths to keep their devices and possessions in good, working order, regardless of their function.
3. What does it do? Silennian electronics are utilitarian and function-oriented. They look at things simply, with the person in mind: A long-range communicator could be made as a necklace or charm no bigger than a clockwork pocketwatch, given from mother to son as a gift to stay in touch as the young adult undergoes the White Path rite. Whatever the device, they're oriented to be helpful to not only the individual, but also to the tribe as a whole. Fragile little devices and useless junk need not apply.
