Dancing Through the District (Open, but fo' Shizzy dahling!)

"Shake your whammy fanny/funky song, funky song/shake your whammy fanny/fu-uuunky so-oong!"

Here was Sparkle, half-strutting half-dancing through the Red District, singing what was surely the strangest thing any of them had ever heard. She didn't notice, as she was too busy listening through the ears of her portable music player...what were those things called? EBoxes? E for electronic, she guessed. Why didn't they call it a mBox? Like M for music? Made more sense to her.

Anyway. The song was something that her planet just recently picked up, though there was no telling when it was actually recorded. She didn't know what a fanny was or what a funky song would be like, but it didn't stop her from dancing and singing her way to...well, wherever she was going. She didn't really know right now. She just knew that right now, it was time to have some fun.

Her ship had been careening through space for a good number of days now. After a firefight with some Vega Traders, it had been beaten up just a little bit. It wasn't like she knew they were really Vega Spies who had sensitive information on board. Besides, hadn't they heard the old saying from her planet?

Never trust a Plasmin as much as you can touch them?

Apparently they hadn't. Now, in all fairness Kazzt had damaged her own ship in order to get the Vega Traders to help her and repair her ship, but they hadn't a clue what they were doing. After all, it was a Plasmin ships, and those were...well they were odd to say the least. Physical ships coated in special liquids to stop a Plasmin from going right through, running on Dimensional Energy Powers and using special biochemical converters to move energy at phenomenal rates. The idiot Vegans had spent more time scanning her ship (And herself she noticed) than anything else.

Kazzt had learnt so much from physical humanoids lately it seemed. To think, event though she didn't technically have any visible nudity, they still refused to look at her until she entered a solid state and dressed herself in clothes. The indignity of it all! She was a Plasmin! Still, she did want to get their information and find out about the latest fronts they had going, so for the past week she had been in nothing but a solid state hunkered down in some ratty old jump suits she had found.

Now she was spiralling through space looking for a place to take her in. She'd created a slipstream rift for her to travel on, but hadn't set a destination properly. Now she had no idea where she was. Still. There were ion trails and plasma signatures all over this sector of space, which meant that there were indeed people here who might know a thing or two. The ship was mostly grey, but it had a strange metallic blue tint to it when the light hit it. It also appeared to be damaged, bit of strange yellow liquid squirting off here and there into space whenever it moved to the left or right. Ugh. She was leaking automated fuel for the propulsion thrusters now. Great.

Her salvation came in the form of a Space Station though. After a bit of hailing and noting that their language wasn't dissimilar from her own, she was finally docked, and after paying them in some useless (Or useless to her) gaseous items, she was on her way to explore. Once more she was told she had to wear something to cover her...well they called it nudity but really...she didn't HAVE any true nudity. Not in her plasma form. Maybe in the solid form you could see bits of this and that for what seemed like humanoid reproductive shapes but...still. She was forced to wear a jumpsuit again.

The old grey cloth was ratty, torn at the elbows, smudged with engine grease here and there and looked like it had better days. It clung to her body, accenting what curves she had. Male humanoids of the solid mammalian order seemed to enjoy these curves, more so her breasts. She never understood why. She remembered one had tried to enter her into a romantic trist, but he soon found that plasma burns.

A lot.

Right now she found herself a strange man who some called a Bartender, and he was selling various liquid supplements that people really seemed to be enjoying. After trading over some of that precious stone they seemed to love, she was able to purchase one of these interestingly coloured beverages.

It was green.

How odd.

No...what was more odd was probably the fact that the woman who was made from what appeared to be made from glass and filled with a strange blue and yellow gas seemed to be considering whether or not she should drink it. She did.

Yuck! It tasted horrible! One could see her as she flashed a brighter colour, her body absorbing the liquid and converting it into a gaseous form for her to burn as energy. She also took on a slightly green tinge now. Alright. No more drinking strange beverages perhaps. The glass was left with that Tender and she was back to walking. There seemed to be a bit of a flurry happening not far in front of her. Some person was dancing and singing her way toward her. She didn't seem to really know what was going on. Kazzt blinked, her large glowing eyes focusing on the woman as she just seemed to dance-walk toward her. It was just in time too, as Kazzt stepped out of the way for the woman to pass by.

Why were humanoids so strange? This one however seemed to the strangest. She definitely wasn't made up of organic biological material like the rest of the mammal humanoids around her. Fascinating. She looked almost like the crystals that grew in caves on her home planet. Big gigantic crystals that were taller than most people. Kazzt decided she would follow this dancing crystal woman. who knows, she might learn something.

The song passed and changed to something different...somethi ng very strange. She looked down at her EBox. "MmmBop"? How did she end up with a song by little girls? Wait...there was a guy too. Maybe the guy was their dad? Sparkle didn't know, but she thought she'd use this time to take a look around. Hm. There didn't seem to be anything interesting to do here. Or maybe she had passed all the fun places while she was busy dancing. Maybe she should stop and ask directions?

Yes, that's what she would do. She stopped, taking a look around for someone who looked like they knew something, anything, about this place. It was then she noticed her. The Crystalin girl stared wide-eyed at her, staying the only thing that came to her mind.

"Ooooo, preeeeetty..."
