Hopefully this explains how Demya and Vyne move. In this picture the harpy is in a complete upright position. It is also a little shorter because I cut out a couple of lumbar vertebrae. The femur (the first bone of the leg) doesn't move into a vertical position unless it is curling towards her chest so it can crouch or tuck its legs up for flight. For simplicity's sake, I have not done in the second leg, wing or arm. I think I might have done the skull a little big.

If I can crouch with a swollen ankle, I think she can stand like that. Her legs being forward entirely makes up for the weight of her head an torso. In the end her body is relatively balanced.

Um, no. You were right the first time. The weight of her legs balances out her body. I wonder how Mae and Alegra will interact.

Leg's weigh less than body, ergo, buttfall.

Also, the amound of area of her foot touching the ground wouln't be enough to keel her from falling unless /significantly/ more weight was in her legs, and body was effectively a..tail

Her legs point forward so her butt is above and behind her feet. Her butt is about 1 1/2 foot from the floor judging from that piccy. Do you want me to draw a sideways picture of her?

Her legs weigh a lot more than her body. Look at the size of them!

It's kinda obvious what I'm trying to draw. I'm also drawing one each of her from above and from the side so you get a bit more of an idea.

She is the closest thing I can find to Alegra. They look kinda similar but no, this is not where I got my idea from. It was actually really hard to find any images of her. There were only two from google images and one didn't even show her legs :O
